9th Annual "Deck the Halls with Inky Paws" Blog Hop with Newton's Nook Designs!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

I'm here for the 9th Annual Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Blog Hop with Newton's Nook Designs!! I just LOVE this time of year and ALL of the Amazing Projects that can be made for those Holiday Gifts you're giving!! I've created a STUNNING Christmas Card and coordinating Gift Tag for today!! SWOON!! Let's get started!! 
I'm using one of my FAVORITE Winter Sets from 
Newton's Nook Designs called the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set along with the coordinating Poinsettia Die Set for my Focal Images and paired it with a couple other Sets to finish off the Designs!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing several of the Poinsettia Blooms Images!! I LOVE dimension, so I Layered several of the Images together then I added some of the individual Holly Leaves and Pine Sprigs to finish off the Design!! 

I Colored with Copic Markers!! Coral: R00, R22 & R32  Yellow: Y11 & YR23   Green: YG03  Dark Green: YG61, YG67 & G18   Turquoise: BG72, BG75 & BG79
I Die Cut ALL of the Images out using the coordinating Poinsettia Die Set!! I added some White Pen Highlight Details and some Glossy Accents to the Center of the Poinsettia Centers and Tonic Studios Blizzard Glitter Drops to the Berries!! 

For the Card Panel I Inked with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and then added some Water Splatters for some Texture!! I Stamped and Embossed the "Wishing You Joy" Sentiment and then adhered the Layered Poinsettia Blooms to the Card Panel using Foam Tape!! A few Trinity Stamps Fairy Rocks Rhinestones frames the Sentiment and adds some Sparkle!! I wanted even more Sparkle so I added some Tonic Studios Midas Touch Glitter Pen to ALL of the Poinsettia Blooms!! The Gold Glitter adds such a STUNNING finish when the Card is moved in the Light!! Then I adhered the Card Panel to a Frames and Flags Scalloped Die Cut from some Patterned Paper!! I adhered the entire Panel onto an A2 White Cardstock Cardbase and my Card is ready to Send to someone SPECIAL!!  

For the Coordinating Tags I've used the Same Poinsettia Blooms Images that I layered together just like on my Card only this time I've adhered it to a Fancy Edges Tag Die Cut!! I Die Cut one from White Cardstock that I inked with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment "Tis' the Season" from the   Stamp Set!! I added some Trinity Stamps Fairy Rocks Rhinestones for some Sparkle and then Die Cut another Fancy Edges Tag Die from some Patterned Paper!! 

I wanted to add a To: and From: Tag, so I Stamped and Embossed the Image from the Jolly Tags Stamp Set and then Die Cut it out using the coordinating Tags Times Two Die Set!! Again I Die Cut another Tag from the same Patterned Paper to add another layer and I just LOVE the way it turned out!! I finished it off by adding it to my Package with some Lawn Fawn Twine that I Curled and then topped it off with a Bow using the same Twine!! 

BONUS PROJECT: 

 I LOVE the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set and ALL of the different ways that you can use it!! It's such a Versatile Set to add to your Stash, whether you're using it for Holiday Cards, Winter Birthday Cards or Winter Anniversary Cards but it can also be used for Gift Tags, Missing You Cards, Thinking of You Cards, or Sympathy Cards just by changing out the Sentiment!! Here's a Winter Birthday Card I've created using several of the same Products!! Just a different Layout Design and Color Combo!!  

 I started by Stamping and Embossing the Images from the Poinsettia Blooms Stamp Set!! I colored all those lovely blooms from the set using Copic Markers in shades or Red: R00, R32, & R39  Green: YG23 & YG25    YG61, YG63 & YG67 and Turquoise: BG72, BG75 & BG79 and Die Cut them out with the coordinating Poinsettia Blooms Die Set, layering them to create a Gorgeous Layered cluster of flowers in the Left Hand corner of my card!! I also added in some Berries and Boughs from the Winter Birds Stamp Set and cut them out with the Winter Birds Die Set to add more elements to the floral clusters!! For my Card Base I added some Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks and then I mixed some Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio Distress Paint together and added some Splatters to add some Dimension!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the "Make a Wish" sentiment from the Birthday Essentials Stamp Set to turn this card into a Winter Birthday Card!! I wanted the Sentiment to SPARKLE so I used some WoW Neutral Shimmer Glitter Embossing Powder!! Its hard to see in the Photos, but in real life that little addition of adds a TON of Beauty to this Card!! If you are still creating Christmas cards, this would make a stunning Holiday Card too. Just add in a Holiday sentiment instead!! I framed the lovely floral panel using the scallop edged frame from our Frames & Flags Die Set!! To finish off the Design and add even MORE SPARKLE, I added some Tonic Studios Blizzard Glitter Drops (BONUS it matches the Glitter in the WoW Embossing Powder) to ALL of the Berries and then I added some Sunrise Glitter Drops to the Poinsettia Flower Centers!! A few Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Star Sequins scattered around Finishes off the Design!! 

On the INSIDE of the Card, I added some more Distress Ink and Distress Paint Splatters along with a second sentiment from the Birthday Essentials Stamp Set also Embossed with the WoW Neutral Shimmer Glitter Embossing Powder!! A few more Iridescent Star Sequins finishes it off!!

Paper Sweeties May 2020 Look Back Inspiration ~ Day3!!

Welcome to Day 3 of the Paper Sweeties May 2020 Look Back Inspiration!! 

I've created some Teacher Thanks You Cards today using SEVERAL Sets!! My boys are CELEBRATING the Last Day of School today, so I thought it was the PERFECT time to share this idea for quick and AMAZING Teacher Thank You Cards!! 

Here's my Card for today!! 

I've used the SWEET Apple Image from the Homegrown Stamp Set and Stamped and Embossed the Image using Versa Mark and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to Water Color the Apple and then I used the coordinating Homegrown Sweet Cuts Die Set to die cut the apple out!! I added a Coating of Glossy Accents for a Shiny and DELICIOUS looking Apple!! I also Stamped and Embossed the Flower Images for the Thinking of You Stamp Set and used the coordinating Thinking of You Sweet Cuts Die Set!! The Small Flower Image is from the I Pick You Stamp Set, I Fussy Cut it out after I colored them all with my Zig Markers!!  I used the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts Die Set for the Scalloped Border, and Die Cut it from some Simple Stories Patterned Paper!! I LOVE how it grounds the Scene that I created with the Apple and Flowers!! 

 I added some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen to the Flowers and some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the center of the Flowers!! I die cut some MFT Gingham Patterned Paper using the Lawn Fawn Pinked Rectangles!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment form the Love You to Pieces Stamp Set and added some interest to the Background by splattering some Black Soot Distress Paint!!

Paper Sweeties Look Back Inspiration Day #3!!

I'm here with Paper Sweeties for a Look Back Inspiration Day #3!! This month we're taking a look back at some of my FAVORITE Paper Sweeties Products!! I'm showcasing the!!

I've made a FUN Shaker Card and I've used the New A Friend Is Stamp Set & Hugs and Kisses Stamp and Coordinating Die Sets!! I've also used some of the SWEET Sugar Sprinkles Sequins for the Shaker Elements!!

I started by Stamping the AWESOME New Sentiment to create a FUN background for my Card in ColorBox Suede Dye Ink!! I wanted some Splatters so I used some of the Colorbox ColoriQue by Lisa Marie Jimenez in Black Diamond!! I LOVE the look it gives in Real Life!! Then I Die Cut the Scalloped Frame into the Front of my Card to create my Shaker Window!! I Stamped and Embossed the Scalloped Frame Image and then Die Cut it out!! I wanted it to POP up off the Shaker Window so I layered 5 Die Cuts together to make it thick!! Then I Glued it to the Front of the Shaker Window that I Embossed the Sentiment #Party onto using Embossable Acetate!! 

I filled the Shaker Window with the Paper Sweeties Flower Sequins and some Clear Seed Beads!! I Stamped and Embossed SEVERAL of the Flower, Leaf and Heart Images using ColorBox Black Pigment Ink and covered it with ColorBox Clear Embossing Powder and Die Cut them using the Coordinating Dies!! I Colored them with Copic Markers and then I added some Tonic Studio Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Centers of the Flowers and the Hearts after coating all with some of the Tonic Studio Aqua Shimmer Pen in Glitter Gloss!! SQUEAL!! The finished results just make me HAPPY!! =) Some White Gel Pen details and my card was done!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!

Sing a Song of Snowflakes w/ Newton's Nook Designs + Holiday GIVEAWAY!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing this Wintery Scene Card!! I just LOVE Snowflakes and Music, so this Sentiment makes me HAPPY!! I KNEW I wanted to create a Scene using it and the SWEET Owl's Snuggled together seemed fitting for a Night Time background!! P.S Read all the way to the bottom to see how you can WIN a pretty AWESOME Holiday Giveaway!! 

I started by creating my Background!! I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to ink inside a Circle Mask I made!! Then I used the NND Music Stencil to Ink over the Tumbled Glass using Antique Linen!! To add some contrast I used Chipped Sapphire to ink around the edges of the Circle!! I Stamped and Embossed the sentiment from the Winter Birds Stamp Set, then Stamped and Embossed the Snowflakes also from that set using WoW White Embossing Powder!! I added some Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters and then added some Tonic Studios Blizzard Nuvo Drops to the center of the Snowflakes!! ALL of these little details ADD to that Winter Night Feel!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the Images from the Love Owl-ways Stamp Set, and the Poinsettia Blooms Die Set. I Colored them in using Copic Markers!! 

I used the Forest Scene Builder Die Set for the Branches!! I inked the edges using Pumice Stone Distress Ink to make them POP!! I added the layered Poinsettia Blooms along with some of the Greenery to finish off the Poinsettia and added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Glitter Drops in Blizzard to the Berries!! I added Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Beaks, Feet and the center of the Poinsettia for some dimension!! I really LOVE how these sets compliment each other, but equally stand on their own!! 

SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!! 😉

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps June Release 2019 ~ Little Huggables Stamp Set & Little Critters Fri-Dies!!

Welcome to Day 1 of the 
CAS-ual Fridays Stamps June Release Week!!
Today we're showcasing the NEW Little Huggables Stamp Set and coordinating Little Critters Fri-Dies!!
SQUEAL!! How CUTE is this Set!!?? 
I just LOVE ALL of the possibilities!!
No matter how you use them you're SURE to receive a SMILE!!
I've created a SWEET Gift Tag and I LOVE the way it turned out!! 

I started by Die Cutting the Tag Buddies Fir-Dies from some Plaid Patterned Paper and some White Cardstock!! I wanted to add some Detail for the background of the White Cardstock Tag so I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to Ink the Tag and then placed the Tin Roof Stencil over the Tag and Inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink for a subtle Designs!! I Die Cut a Grass Border and used some Peeled Paint & Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks!! Then I added my Stamped and Embossed Image!! Isn't that Bear the SWEETEST!!?? I've used Copic Markers in (E41, E42, E43 & E44 to Color her in and added R00 for the cheeks and paws) White Gel pen details and some Tonic Studio Glitter Pen to the Ears and Paws for some Sparkle!! Then I added some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Paws to added some Dimension!! I LOVE the way it looks in real life!! 

I added the Tag onto the Pink Plaid tag after I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment with WoW White Embossing Powder!! Added some BEAUTIFUL Bubble Gum Seam Binding Ribbon and a Turquoise Twine Bow finishes off the Design!!

Paper Sweets May Release Sneak Peeks!! =)

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

Welcome to Day 1 of the Paper Sweeties 

May Release 2019!! 

I created a SWEET Card using the *NEW* stamp set called "Truck Add On: Life is an Adventure" Stamp Set and the coordinating "Truck Add On: Life is an Adventure" Sweet Cuts Die Set which will be live in the Paper Sweeties Shop tomorrow May 15th!! 

 Here's a look at the Card I made, I LOVE how it turned out!! 

I Started by stamping the Truck Image from the Merry Christmas Ya'll Stamp Set and the Camper from the NEW Truck Add On: Life is an Adventure Stamp Set!! I Colored them in using Copic Markers!! (Truck/Camper: BG11, BG45, BG49  Y11, YR23  Tires: N8, N6 & N4  Camper: N0, N2 & N4  Door/Curtains: R43, R46 & R89  Windows: BG0000 & BG11) 

I added some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen to the Windows, Lights and Hearts and then added some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops for some Dimension and Shine!! 

I added some White Gel Pen hightlights, and then added them to the Cardbase I created!!
