Newton's Nook Designs May Release ~ Newton Cleans Up!!

I'm here with Day 2 of the

Newton's Nook Designs May Release 2019!!

. Today we're showcasing the NEW

"Newton Cleans Up" Stamp Set + coordinating
"Newton Cleans Up" Die Set!!

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

How FUN is this Set!!?? Bringing the EVERYDAY activities we may NOT enjoy into our Crafting makes me GIGGLE!! If only our Pets could really help us out with Laundry, Vacuuming and Dishes!! 😜

So for my Card I went with that thought and wanted to create a Scene Card of the Kitties doing the Work for a Friends Birthday!! I Stamped and Embossed both the Images and used Copic Markers to color them in!! (Kitties: E40, E42 & E43 R00 for the Cheeks Vacuum: R43, R46 & R89 N0, N2 & N5 Y11 & YR23 Laundry Basket: N0, N2 & N5 Y11, YR23 YR00, YR68 R43, R46 & R89) I added some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen and Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to certain areas to make them POP!!

I wanted to create a Room Backround so I used the NEW Cascading Stars Stencil and Inked with some Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink to Ink them onto my Wall!! Then I removed the Stencil and Inked the entire Wall with a light coat of Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink!! For the floor I used some Simple Stories Woodgrain Patterned Paper!! I added some Shading with Distress Oxide Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink!! I Die Cut the Framework Frame Die from some Oreo TE Cardstock and mounted the scene onto a TE Sea Salt Cardbase!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! Grey isn't a color I use alot of and you might just be seeing ALOT more of it from me!!

For the Sentiment I Stamped and Embossed it onto a NND Speech Bubble Die Cut with some WoW Embossing Red Glitz Embossing Powder and Clear Detail Embossing Powder!! I think its SO FUN to maks parts of the Sentiment and make them POP with a different color of Embossing Powder or Ink!! I did the same think for the inside of the Card, only I Stamped and Embossed onto Oreo TE Cardstock!!

If you want to make the Red Glitz Embossing Powder POP on the Black Cardstock then Emboss the entire Sentiment in White Embossing Powder and then Mask off the Word you want to POP and Stamp over with Versa Mark ink and add your Red Glitz Embossing Powder and set!! The White Embossing Base really makes it POP on the Black Cardstock!!

Paper Sweets May Release Sneak Peeks!! =)

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

Welcome to Day 1 of the Paper Sweeties

May Release 2019!!

I created a SWEET Card using the *NEW* stamp set called "Truck Add On: Life is an Adventure" Stamp Set and the coordinating "Truck Add On: Life is an Adventure" Sweet Cuts Die Set which will be live in the Paper Sweeties Shop tomorrow May 15th!!

Here's a look at the Card I made, I LOVE how it turned out!!

I Started by stamping the Truck Image from the Merry Christmas Ya'll Stamp Set and the Camper from the NEW Truck Add On: Life is an Adventure Stamp Set!! I Colored them in using Copic Markers!! (Truck/Camper: BG11, BG45, BG49 Y11, YR23 Tires: N8, N6 & N4 Camper: N0, N2 & N4 Door/Curtains: R43, R46 & R89 Windows: BG0000 & BG11)

I added some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen to the Windows, Lights and Hearts and then added some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops for some Dimension and Shine!!

I added some White Gel Pen hightlights, and then added them to the Cardbase I created!!

I'm here with Day 1 of the

Newton's Nook Designs May Release 2019!!

. Today we're showcasing the NEW

"Newton's Movie Night" Stamp Set + coordinating "Newton's Movie Night" Die Set + 2 NEW Stencils "Popcorn" & "Cascading Stars"!!

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

Movie Night by Larissa Heskett for Newton's Nook Designs using Newton's Movie Night, Popcorn Stencil, Frames & Flags Die, Framework Die

I wanted to create a Movie Theater Scene for this Card!! So I decided to stencil the NEW "Popcorn" Stencil onto some Oreo TE Cardstock using the NEW Therm O Web White Pearl Metallix Gel that I colored with Distress Ink in Wild Honey!! I LOVE the way it resembles real Popcorn!! Once it dried I places the Stencil back over the top of the Dried Metallix Design and used the Wild Honey Distress Ink with an Ink Dauber and added some shading to the top of each of the Popcorn pieces!! It's AMAZING how much interest it adds!!

Then I added the Simple Stories Woodgrain Patterned Paper for the Theater Floor!!

I Stamped and Embossed the Image and used Copic Markers to color it in!!

( Cats: E40, E42, E43 and R00 Chairs: C00, C1, C3, C5 E25 & E29 Popcorn: Y11, Y15 & YR23 Containers/Pop: R43, R46, R89, N0, N2 & N4)

I Die Cut the Banner from the NND Frames & Flags Die Set using some Cherry Pop TE Cardstock and then Die Cut the Ticket from the Framework Die Set from some Salt Water Taffy TE Cardstock and colored the edges with a C3 Copic Marker!! Then I Die Cut a Label Die from some Marshmallow TE Cardstock and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment!! I layered them altogether to create my Banner and mounted them onto the Scene using some Gina K Designs Foam Tape!! I Die Cut the Frameswork Panel from some Oreo Cardstock and adhered the Scene Panel ontop!! Then I mounted it to a Toffee Cardstock Cardbase!! I inked the edges with some Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and I LOVE the way it turned out!!
