I'm here with Day 4 of the Newton's Nook Designs May Release!! Today we're showcasing the NEW 

"Newton's Flower Garden" Stamp Set + coordinating Newton's Flower Garden Die Set!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Sets!!

SQEAL!! How CUTE is this NEW Set!! 

I'm SO EXCITED about it and all of the possibilities!!

 Here's what I've created for today!!

I wanted to create a SWEET Scene for my Card today!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Images from the NEW "Newton's Flower Garden" Stamp Set!! I Stamped in Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to color my Images!! (Newton: E40, E43, E47 & E49 Cheek and Inside of Ears: R00  Flowers: Y11, Y15 & YR23  RV00, RV02 & RV06  Greenery: YG61, YG63 & BG18   Butterflies: V000, V01 V06 & V09  Y11, Y15 & YR23   RV00, RV02, RV06   Y11, Y15 & YR23) I used the NEW coordinating Newton's Flower Garden Dies to Die Cut the Images out and then I added some White Gel Highlights and some Black Gel Pen Details to the Nose and the Butterfly Bodies to make them POP!! For my Scene I Started by Creating my Sky!! I used Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks to blend my Sky trying to keep the darker color at the bottom of the Sky!! Water Droplets were added for some Texture!! Then I Die Cut 3 of the Speech Bubble Dies to use for my Clouds!! I wanted to stamp and Emboss the Sentiment inside so that's the reason I went with the Large Clouds!! I added some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to the edges of the Clouds to help them Blend in rather that be bold!!

 I Die Cut the Fence Die from some Kraft Cardstock and Inked it using some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and then I Die Cut another Fence from some Grey Cardstock and layered it behind for a Shadow!! I LOVE this look, and then I added 2 Borders of Grass Die Cut using the Land Borders Die Set!! I Die Cut some Green Cardstock and then Inked with Lucky Clover and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks to add some Dimension and Shadows!! I adhered the Entire Card Scene together and then added a BOLD Black Scalloped Frame Die Cut from the Frames and Flags Die!! I tried several Colors, but I LOVED the way that the Black Frame made the Scene POP!! Almost like in a Children's Story Book!! I added some Glitter Nuvo Drops to the center of the Flowers and my Card was done!!

Newton's Nook Designs November Release 2019 ~ Newton's Toboggan + Mountains Stencil!!

         I'm here with Day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs November Release!! 

       Today we're showcasing the NEW  

"Newton’s Toboggan" Stamp Set + coordinating "Newton’s Toboggan" Dies 
and the Mountains Stencil!! 
Let's take a look at the AWESOME NEW Products!! 

This Scene just makes me Giggle!! One of my FAVORITE parts of Winter has always been Sledding, so this set brings back to ALL of the memories I have of Sledding!! Although I'm not quite ready for sledding this year, I have a feeling Mother Nature may have a different plan in store as we've already had snow and got more yesterday!! BRRRR!! Anyway, I KNEW I wanted to create a Simple scene and let ALL of the AMAZING details of this Image be the Focal!! I Stamped and Embossed the Image and colored it in with Copic Markers!! 

I used (Cats: E40, E42, E43 & E44  Cheeks, Ears & Paws: R00  Green: YG61, YG63 & YG67  Red: R43, R46 & R89  White: N0 & N2  Toboggan: E33, E35 & E37  Shadows: W2 & W5) Then I used the coordinating Die to Die Cut the Image out!! I added White Gel Pen Details and added some Black Glaze Pen to the Noses!! 

I then focused on the Background!! I used the NEW Mountains Stencil to create my Mountains using Distress Oxide Ink in Hickory Smoke and Weathered Wood and a Blender Brush for a super soft look!! Then I ran a Static Bag over the Image and Inked over the Sky with Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass!! I ran the Static Bag over the entire Sky and then replaced the Mountains Stencil and Inked the Mountain tops with some Versa Mark Ink and and Ink Dauber!! I added some WoW White Embossing Powder and then Heat Set it!! I LOVE the way it looks and it adds the PERFECT touch of texture too!! I used my Ink Blender to also add some Shadows in front of and behind the Image to make it look more realistic!! I Die Cut the Speech Bubble and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment!! Then added the Speech Bubble Sentiment with some Foam Tape and I also added the Image with some Foam Tape just on the Top 2/3 of the Image leaving the bottom free and applying some Liquid Glue so the image looks like its really tilting!! I LOVE this look in real life!! I Die Cut the Framework Frame from Kraft that I inked with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then adhered it to some Patterned Paper onto my A2 Cardbase!!

To Bee Or Not to Bee Blog Hop!

It's World Bee Day and today we are participating in a World Bee Day Blog Hop, organized by Milka Gubo! This hope has been organized by Milka to help celebrate the 2nd World Bee Day, to support bees and to raise public awareness of the importance of bees and apicultural products. All the stops in this hop will be featuring fun Bee and/or Honey themed projects!  

To play along with the hop we are featuring an adorable Honey Bee Hive Card created by me!! Scroll down to see my beautiful card and details on how it was created!! 

Hello!! I'm sharing a fun Honey Bee Hive Card Today!! 

Have you ever used your Patterned Stencils in order to add dimension and interest to a shaped card Design!!?? For my Honey Bee Hive Shaped Card Base today that is exactly what I'm going to do!! First I Die Cut the Honey Bee Hive from some Lawn Fawn #2 Pencil Cardstock and then I created Mask to add some shading to the layers of the Hive with a light inking of Wild Honey Distress Ink!! Then I placed the Newton's Nook Designs Argyle Stencil Set over the top and used some Purple tape to hold it in place while I inked with Wild Honey Distress Ink!! I removed the Stencil and the Subtle Pattern adds so much dimension to the design!!

Then I placed the second piece from the Argyle Stencil Set over the inked design and lined up the pattern placing more Purple tape to hold it in place!! Then with the help of the Therm O Web Stencil Pal I applied some Gina K Designs Glitter Glitz Gel in White!! I removed the Purple Tape and the Stencil and set it aside to dry!! Swoon!! It adds such a neat affect to the design!!




I stamped and embossed the images from the Newton's Costume Party Stamp Set and colored them in using Copic Markers!! (Newton: N0, N2 & N4 R00 for the cheeks  Bee Outfit: N8, N6, N4 Y11, Y15 & YR23  Wings: Bg000, BG10) I used the coordinating Newton's Costume Party Die Set to cut the images out and added some White Gel pen highlights, some Aqua Shimmer Pen for some Sparkle and Tonic Studios Black Nuvo Drops to add some dimension!! I also Stamped some of the tiny bee images from the Newton's Day Dream Stamp Set!! I wanted some Bees fling in the opposite direction, so I also used my Ranger Gel Printing Plate along with my Misti Stamping tool to Mirror Stamp a few of the Bees!! Then I Fussy Cut them out!! For the sentiment I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Loads of Blooms Stamp Set onto a vellum die cut speech bubble using the Speech Bubble Die Sets!! I masked off "Beauty" and Embossed it with some WOW Pearl Gold Glitter Embossing Powder!!



For the inside of the card I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Newton's Day Dream Stamp Set and stamped another bee image and then added a red foiled heart that I added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops too to add some Dimension!!

         I'm here with Day 2 of the

.       Today we're showcasing the NEW  

"Newton Cleans Up" Stamp Set + coordinating 
"Newton Cleans Up" Die Set!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

How FUN is this Set!!?? Bringing the EVERYDAY activities we may NOT enjoy into our Crafting makes me GIGGLE!! If only our Pets could really help us out with Laundry, Vacuuming and Dishes!! 😜

So for my Card I went with that thought and wanted to create a Scene Card of the Kitties doing the Work for a Friends Birthday!! I Stamped and Embossed both the Images and used Copic Markers to color them in!! (Kitties: E40, E42 & E43  R00 for the Cheeks  Vacuum: R43, R46 & R89  N0, N2 & N5   Y11 & YR23   Laundry Basket: N0, N2 & N5  Y11, YR23  YR00, YR68  R43, R46 & R89) I added some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen and Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to certain areas to make them POP!! 

I wanted to create a Room Backround so I used the NEW Cascading Stars Stencil and Inked with some Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink to Ink them onto my Wall!! Then I removed the Stencil and Inked the entire Wall with a light coat of Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink!! For the floor I used some Simple Stories Woodgrain Patterned Paper!! I added some Shading with Distress Oxide Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink!! I Die Cut the Framework Frame Die from some Oreo TE Cardstock and mounted the scene onto a TE Sea Salt Cardbase!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! Grey isn't a color I use alot of and you might just be seeing ALOT more of it from me!!

 For the Sentiment I Stamped and Embossed it onto a NND Speech Bubble Die Cut with some WoW Embossing Red Glitz Embossing Powder and Clear Detail Embossing Powder!! I think its SO FUN to maks parts of the Sentiment and make them POP with a different color of Embossing Powder or Ink!! I did the same think for the inside of the Card, only I Stamped and Embossed onto Oreo TE Cardstock!! 

If you want to make the Red Glitz Embossing Powder POP on the Black Cardstock then Emboss the entire Sentiment in White Embossing Powder and then Mask off the Word you want to POP and Stamp over with Versa Mark ink and add your Red Glitz Embossing Powder and set!! The White Embossing Base really makes it POP on the Black Cardstock!!
