Hello and HAPPY Monday!!
Man has it been a CRAZY weekend!! I have FINALLY finished my 2 Round Entry for the Spellbinder's DT Call!! SO EXCITED and I LOVE IT!! That's all I can say about that; so if I don't make it any further than this I will be going out with a HAPPY Heart because I TRULY LOVE the way my Project turned out!!
My sister's new house is finally done and she was SO EXCITED to have us all over to see it, but the weather had different plans!! Maybe tomorrow if the storms stay away we will finally get to go and celebrate in their joy with them!! I envy her in the fact that she has more square footage now but not in the fact that she gets to try and move with a 2yr old and a 7 week old!! Should be FINE though cause she has LOTS of takers on the Baby Sitting front!! =)


Beckett and his friend Hailey went fishing in the pond yesterday and had a BLAST!! They didn't want to quit! I LOVE our pond because the kids (I) can catch something about every cast!! Only bad side to this is when they are old enough to graduate to the lake I think they will have some pretty unrealistic expectations!!?? I am definitely a pond fisher woman and not patient enough to sit all day at the lake to MAYBE catch a big one!! We will find out sooner than I'd like!! They are growing up WAY TO FAST!! =)

Anyway, today I wanted to share a FUN Card I made for the Lil' Inkers Blog!!
They are Celebrating with some FUN activities so if you are NEW to them you MUST go and check them out!!  I have been a FAN/LOVER from the beginning and their unique stitched dies are among some of my FAVORITES!! Here is the image we were given to be INSPIRED by!!

So I decided I pull out my first purchases from Lil' Inkers and create a FUN Scene in a Jar!! I wanted to use the colors in the photo so I went with a FUN Gingham and more Earthy Tones!! I just LOVE the way it turned out!! Rainbows don't always have to be done in Primary Colors ya'll!! =)

I decided to create a FUN Flower using the E133 Small Scallop Heart

I stamped it 9 times and layered them to create my Flower after I inked the Edges with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs!! I then used the G153 Ornamental Vine

I stamped it 6 times rotating it to have the vine come from underneath the flower in different directions!! I then placed some wrapped May Arts Burlap Twine under the flower too for some added dimension!! I stamped my sentiment and that finished off my card for today!! I hope you'll look at your NON-Floral Stamps and see what could be turned into a Flower-thus getting more from your stamps especially Holiday Specific ones!! Here is my Finished Card!!

Penny Black For the Family Challenge!! THANK YOU Card!! =)

Yeah!!
I wanted to share a FUN card I made this weekend for the Penny Black Inc. For Family Challenge!! If you are NEW to them or have NEVER Visited their Blog I hope you'll go and check out ALL of the AMAZING Inspiration!!
I was one of the LUCKY winners on their Blog during the New Release Week and I received 5 of the New Released Stamps!! I have been wanting to create with them and this gave me the PERFECT Excuse!! I created this card for Sister!! She LOVES to garden so this card will make her SMILE!!
I started off by covering my Background Stamp with Gelato in Aqua Dolce!!
I then sprayed it with water and I LOVE the FUN watercolored look it gave to my card!!
I just wanted to jump up and down with EXCITMENT when I saw it!! Isn't it so AMAZING when your idea turns out even better than you had imagined it!!??  =) Plus it kinda gives a FUN texture to the background!! Just makes me HAPPY!! =)
Next I stamped the Flower image ontop some text printed paper and fussy cut them out!! I stamped two of the Larger Flower and one of the Smaller Flower!! I wanted to layer them so I cut a couple petal rows off all around one of the Large Flowers and the Smaller Flower so they would fit inside one another!! I colored them in with my Faber-Castell Aquarelle Water Color Pencils in (126, 119)and then I used a water color Brush to blend them!! I stamped the leaves two of the Larger Leaf images and one of the Smaller Leaf images!! I added Water Color (167) to the veins of the leaves and used a Water Color Brush to blend it!! I stamped the Thank You Sentiment and that finished my card!!

Penny Black for the Family Challenge!! THANK EWE Card!! =)

I wanted to share a FUN card I made this weekend for the Penny Black Inc. For Family Challenge!!
I wanted to use the New Mimi's Farm Stamp Set!! Oh How I LOVE this FUN Little Set!!
I decided to Paper Piece Mimi and the Lamb!! I wanted to create a FUN THANK YOU Card for my Sister!! She has 3 little ones who are all involved in 4-H and I knew she (they) would ENJOY this Card!! I started by stamping Mimi onto 5 different pattern papers!! One for each of the pieces I would be cutting out!! I then fussy cut all of them out and stamped another image onto white cardstock so I could piece them altogether!! I wanted to add alittle dimension to her hat so I added a few layers of cardstock underneath the brim of the hat!! I LOVE the added depth it adds!! I then used my Faber-Castell Auarelle Water Color Pencils to color her skin and to add some checks!! I then stamped the Fence twice onto white cardstock and twice onto wood grain pattern paper!! I then Fussy Cut them and glued the wood grain onto the White cardstock to give the fence more depth!! I stamped the sheep twice too once out of Text cardstock and once onto white cardstock!! I used my Silver and Black Aquarelle Water Color Pencil to color in the sheep's face and hooves!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! I stamped the chick and my sentiment after I colored my background using my Aquarelle Water Color Pencils and I can't wait to give this to my sister!! Here is my Finished Card!!

"Let's Do LUNCH" Paper Smooches Designer Drafts Challenge!! =)

Hello and Happy Sunday!!
I wanted to share the card I made for this weeks Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge!!
Using the sketch I decided to create my card with the NEW Think Fast Stamp Set!!
I wanted to Paper Piece the Sandwich, Fries and Ice Cream Cone and I LOVE the way they turned out!! I added some ink for shadows and dimension!! I then stamped and die cut the Flags also from Paper Smooches!! At first I didn't think I would find much use for these sets and boy was I WRONG!! I use them all the time and LOVE them!! I wanted the word LUNCH to pop alittle more than the others so I added some Fired Brick Distress Embossing Powder to it and I really like the added touch it gave!! Here is my finished card!!

Sew LOVELY Thank You Card!! =)

Hello here is my second post for today!!
I had just enough time this afternoon to play along with the FUN JustRite Friday Challenge #096-"Sew Good" over on the JustRite Blog!!
I LOVED this Challenge and had a TON of ideas just not enough time!! Isn't that ALWAYS how it goes!!?? I hope you'll check out ALL of the AMAZING Creations shared by all of the other crafter's cause there are some very BEAUTIFUL Cards!!
I decided to use the Lace Background Stamp, Lace Medallion Labels, For All You Do Vintage Labels, and the Live, Love, Laugh Vintage Labels Two Stamp Sets along with the Spellbinder's Vintage Labels Two  and Three Dies!! I also die cut a Dress Form from the Spellbinder's Sewing Elements Dies!!  I was going for a Younger Feeling Vintage Card for my Youngest Sister!! Her FAVORITE color is Light Pink and I KNOW she is going to LOVE this card!!  I used the Lace Background for the base of my card!! I then stamped and layered two of the Lace Borders!! I off set them so they would add a FUN feature to the base of my card!! I then layered some Crochet Lace Ribbon from Melissa Frances and attached it to the center of my Layered Lace Stamped Border. I then stamped the large label from the Live, Love, Laugh Vintage Labels Stamp set and added it to the center of my card adding pop dot to the top half so it would be level with the layers below!! I then stamped the medium Lace Medallion Label Stamp and fussy cut it out and distressed the edges to give it a more realistic lace fabric look.  I finished by stamping one of the For All You Do Vintage Labels and added my sentiment which was a mixture from two sets!! I added the Dress Form Die Cut that I senciled and added mini pearls too, a Mini Wooden Spool from Maya Road with some twine wrapped around it, a Heart Pearl Stick Pin and some Vintage Buttons with some May Arts Burlap Twine!! I really LOVE the way this turned out and I hope you'll take the time to go and see all the other creations!!  Here is my finished card!!

Vintage Music Paper Birthday Card!! =)

Happy Hump Day!!
I can't believe it is Wednesday already!! Beckett has one more day of school and he is out for SUMMER Break!! =) So EXCITED to have him home and looking forward to all of the summer FUN we are going to have!!

Today I wanted to share a card I have made for the Challenge over on the Cas-ual Friday Challenge Blog!! To celebrate their 2nd Birthday they have compiled the Top 10 Challenges into a FUN
Tic Tac Toe board and our challenge was to pick a row and incorporate that row into a card!! SO I chose the Center Row going Down!!  KRAFT-BLING-EMBOSS
I thought it would be FUN to make a Birthday card and I wanted to use the New Birthday Stamp and Die set from Paper Trey Ink. I die cut 5 Balloons out of Vintage Music Paper and Vellum and glued the edges together to create a FUN package so I could add Sequins to the inside of the Balloons!! I added colored MINI Sequins in the FUN colors of Pink, Orange, Yellow and Turquoise (size 3mm) and a couple Clear Iridescent Sequins in a larger size (4mm). Its hared to see the shine in the pictures, but in real life it is really NEAT!! Shimmery, but not to in your face!! =)
I then die cut the cut little bows out of the same Vintage Music Paper.  ( I had to back it with some cardstock before I could die cut because it is so old that it was actually cracking and breaking apart as I tried to die cut it that is how old and fragile it is!!) LOVE IT!!
I stamped the matching bow image ontop and then embossed it with clear embossing powder!! I used the sentiment from the set and stamped and embossed it as well!!
I then added some string to the balloons and I thought it would be FUN to make the Balloons the focal point so I let the strings come down over the sentiment and come off the sides of the card!!  I LOVE the way that this card came together!! =)

I was able to play along with a couple FUN Challenges and I wanted to share what I have made!!

Chech out this Beauty!! Maile Belles has such a FUN style!! I decided to play along over on the
Case-Study Challenge Blog!! If you have a chance you should check out all of the AMAZING takes on this trigger!! I thought it would be neat to create a Horizontal card using this design layout!!
I am also playing along with the Make It Monday #116 Adding Texture to your Stamps that Betsy Veldman shared this week on the Paper Trey Ink Blog!!

So I took my background envelope stamp and stamped it on the the base of my card with a Kraft PTI Ink!! I then cut out my flower dies on large and two medium!! I took the stamp set and inked up my stamps using Shadow PTI ink!! I ran my combo through the ink to add the subtle texture and then stamped it off once before stamping onto my die cut to get a lighter shade!! I did this for all of my base flowers!! Then I took the next stamp and inked it again with the Shadow PTI ink again I ran my comb across it to add a subtle texture and this time I stamped it straight onto the flower die cut layering it ontop of the base flower that was stamped first!! I LOVE the FUN look this gives to the flower!! Then I stamped the next two layers onto a piece of cardstock and fussy cute them out!! I added the same texture with a comb to the very center stamp of the flower!! I added my sentiment and embossed it to make it pop!! Then after placing all of my pieces I stamped the leaves in the same Shadow PTI ink right onto my card base!! I add a ribbon and layered my flower pieces together with some thin foam tape to add just alittle dimension!! I LOVE the way this came together and I will definitely be playing around with the texture stamping again!!
