Paper Sweeties Look Back Inspiration Day #3!!

HELLO!!  

I'm here with Paper Sweeties for a Look Back Inspiration Day #3!! This month we're taking a look back at some of my FAVORITE Paper Sweeties Products!! I'm showcasing the!!

I've made a FUN Shaker Card and I've used the New A Friend Is Stamp Set & Hugs and Kisses Stamp and Coordinating Die Sets!! I've also used some of the SWEET Sugar Sprinkles Sequins for the Shaker Elements!!

I started by Stamping the AWESOME New Sentiment to create a FUN background for my Card in ColorBox Suede Dye Ink!! I wanted some Splatters so I used some of the Colorbox ColoriQue by Lisa Marie Jimenez in Black Diamond!! I LOVE the look it gives in Real Life!! Then I Die Cut the Scalloped Frame into the Front of my Card to create my Shaker Window!! I Stamped and Embossed the Scalloped Frame Image and then Die Cut it out!! I wanted it to POP up off the Shaker Window so I layered 5 Die Cuts together to make it thick!! Then I Glued it to the Front of the Shaker Window that I Embossed the Sentiment #Party onto using Embossable Acetate!! 

I filled the Shaker Window with the Paper Sweeties Flower Sequins and some Clear Seed Beads!! I Stamped and Embossed SEVERAL of the Flower, Leaf and Heart Images using ColorBox Black Pigment Ink and covered it with ColorBox Clear Embossing Powder and Die Cut them using the Coordinating Dies!! I Colored them with Copic Markers and then I added some Tonic Studio Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Centers of the Flowers and the Hearts after coating all with some of the Tonic Studio Aqua Shimmer Pen in Glitter Gloss!! SQUEAL!! The finished results just make me HAPPY!! =) Some White Gel Pen details and my card was done!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps 7th Anniversary Release Week ~ This Sucks!!

Welcome to the CAS-ual Fridays 7th Anniversary Release Week!! 

To celebrate their 7th anniversary, we'll have 6 days of jaw-dropping inspiration featuring 8 amazing new stamp sets! Today we're showcasing the NEW "This Sucks" Stamp Set!! It's a 4x6 Stamp Set with an AMAZING collection of several Sentiments that can be used for LOTS of different Cards!! 

Here's a Look at this NEW Set!!

I wanted to showcase the LARGE Sentiment and knew I wanted to use a Rainbow Color Scheme!! I Started by Die Cutting the Rainbow Lawn Fawn Patterned Paper with an A2 Stitched Rectangle Die and then Die Cut a Large Circle from some Lawn Fawn Merman Cardstock!! I Die Cut a Smaller Circle Die Cut from some White Cardstock and then I Stamped the Sentiment "This Sucks" with Distress Oxide Inks in Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint and Peacock Feathers using Ink Daubers to Ink up the Sentiment and blend the colors!! I Stamped using a Mini MISTI Stamping Tool so that I could restamp the Sentiment several times to get a CRISP Image!! Then I used WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder to Emboss the Sentiment!!

I LOVE the way it turned out!!  

To finish off the Design I stamped the Smaller "Maybe Swearing will Help" sentiment onto a Fog Banner with Versa Mark ink and Embossed it with WoW Embossing Powder!! I added some Hickory Smoke Distress Ink to make it POP and then I added it onto the Card using some 3D Foam Squares!! A scattering of Rainbow Jewels and Star Confetti finishes off the Design!!

CAS-Fridays Stamps June Release 2019 ~ Stars A2 Panel Fri-Die!!

Welcome to Day 3 of the 
CAS-ual Fridays Stamps June Release Week!!
Today we're showcasing the NEW Stars A2 Panel Fri Die!! 
I've created a STUNNING Hanukkah Shaker Card using some Therm O Web Deco Foiled Toner Sheet and the Lapis Watercolor Deco Foil!! I LOVE how EASY it is to make a Card that packs this much of a WOW factor!! 

I started by Foiling the Deco Foil Toner Sheet with the Lapis Watercolor Deco Foil!! Then I ran it through my Die Cutting Machine and Die Cut it 4 more times from some TE Earl Gray Cardstock!! I added the acetate behind the Foiled Die Cut and then layered the 4 other Die Cuts altogether using liquid adhesive to create the Shaker base!! I Inked my Cardbase with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink making sure to leave the center light and getting darker around the edges!!  

I added my Sequins and Jewels making sure to place them all around in the Stars and open spaces!! Then I wanted a Large Star to add my Sentiment onto so I used the Star of David Fri-Dies to trace the shape and then Fussy Cut it out!! I added Tumbled Glass Distress Ink around the edges to match the Cardbase!! Then I used the Star of David Stamp Set to Stamp and Emboss the Sentiment using some WoW Embossing Powder and I LOVE how it matches with the Foil!!  I adhered it to the top of the card using some Foam Tape and my Card was finished!!

Happy Bird-Day Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!! 
I'm up on the Newton's Nook Blog today sharing this Bright and Cheerful Happy Bird-day Card!!

I used the Winter Birds Stamp Set to create a colorful birthday card! I started out by Stamping and Embossing  the image of the Chickadee from the Winter Birds Stamp Set but instead of coloring it in traditional colors I changed it up by making the SWEET Chickadee Bird shades of Pink to coordinate with the Well Hello Pattered Paper Pad I used by My Mind's Eye!! As soon as I saw this Pad I just KNEW I had to have it and it coordinates SO WELL with SEVERAL of the AMAZING NND Stamp Sets!! Think about that next time your looking at NEW Pads to buy!! 

I added some Cracked Pistachio Distress Paint Splatters to the Pattered Paper Card Base for some added texture and sat it aside to dry!! Then I die cut the SWEET Chickadee Bird using the coordinating Winter Birds Die Set!! To make this even MORE FUN I colored a Party Hat from the Newton Celebrates Stamp Set and cut it out with the Newton Celebrates Die Set to add it onto the Chickadee Birds head!! I added the Bright and Cheerful Chickadee Bird to my card, adding some Wild Honey Distress Ink behind him on a circle die cur!! For my card base I used the bold bird themed patterned paper!! Then I added the "celebrate" sentiment from our Birthday Essentials Stamp Set, Stamping and Embossing it onto a banner from our Frames & Flags Die Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Neutral Shimmer Glitter Embossing Powder!! I added s sprinkling of Blue Iridescent Sequins from my stash and I think it finishes it off PERFECTLY!! I LOVE the way it turned out and WHO wouldn't want to receive a Bird-Day Card like this!!??

Paper Sweeties November 2018 Release Party!! =)

            HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm here for the Release Party of the 

November 2018 *NEW* Paper Sweeties Product Release!! 
Here's a look at the NEW Products:

I wanted to create a SWEET Shaker Card!! I thought it would be FUN to use some Plaid Patterned Paper for the Gingerbread Girl and then I added some Snowflakes, Gingerbread and Mini Hearts and Stars for the Shaker Elements!! I Stamped and Embossed the LOVE sentiment using some WoW Red Glitter Embossing Powder!! I also Created a WoW Red Glitter Embossed Bow and Die Cut some Felt Leaves and finished it off with a Mini Jingle Bell!! I Die Cut a Scalloped Rectangle from some Chalkboard Patterned Paper and then adhered it all to a Gina K Designs Silver Metallic A2 Cardbase!! This Card makes me think of my late Mother-In-Law she LOVED Gingerbread Men and she would have ADORED receiving this for the Holidays!! Thankful Newton's Pumpkin Patch Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO Crafty Friends and HAPPY Friday!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing a gorgeous Fall card!! I just LOVE Fall!! I think its my FAVORITE Season followed by Spring!! Fall Colors are some of my MOST LOVED too!! 

I Started by using the NEW Newton's Pumpkin Patch Stamp Set, stamping the big image of kitties in the background and embossing them with black embossing powder onto some Patterned Paper!! I LOVE to do this with BIG Images like this as I feel it makes it easier to not feel like you have to Color the Image!!  So I left the kitties uncolored but added some Black Soot Distress Paint splatters and added little POPS of color with Iridescent Orange and Purple Metallic and Sparkling Clear Star Sequins. I added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the centers of the Sequins to add an extra bit of interest and dimension!! I then added the "thankful" sentiment from NEW Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped onto a banner from our Frames & Flags Stamp Set. 

I then inked the Banner with some Rusty Hinge and Carved Pumpkin Distress Inks to add a bit of orange behind the sentiment to help it POP against the Image!!  I mounted the whole panel onto a scalloped background panel that was cut out using the Frames & Flags Die Set from some Gina K Designs Kraft Cardstock. I LOVE the way it turned out and think its an EASY Design to make multiples of to STOCK your stash with some Thank You Cards, but also still packs a PUNCH!!

I'm here today for the New Challenge over on the Calling All SistahsBlog!! 

EVERY Month on the 18th we'll be sharing a New Inspiration Challenge Photo!! 

Lets take a look at the Project I've made for the NEW 
Calling All Sistahs July Encouragement Challenge CAS15!!

I started by making my Card Background!! I wanted an Embossed background as it reminds me of the Texture of the Wire Vase in the Inspiration Photo!! So I Stamped and Embossed the Hope Ribbon from the Word Ribbon Stamp Set all across my Cardbase using WoW White Embossing Powder!! Then I used the largest Star Fri-Dies to Die Cut my Shaker Window!! For the Inside of my Window I used some Sunny Studios Patterned Paper and Stamped and Embossed the "Never Give Up Hope" Sentiment also from the Word Ribbon Stamp Set in Gun Metal Hero Arts Embossing Powder!! 

I added an assortment of Pretty Pink Posh Sequins and Mini Silver Stars to finish off the Design!! 

Each month, on the 18th we will have an inspiration photo and challenge to spark your creativity.  You can use the photo or the colors or both to create your card to encourage, bless or lift the spirits of the recipient.  Then link up here by June 13th for your chance to win a $25 gift code from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps to use in their online store!!  You can use any product you wish, but if you are chosen and your card has a stamp or die from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, your prize will be doubled!!!!!!

Newton's Nook Designs April Release 2018 ~ "Little Lillie's" and "April Showers"!!

                                     I'm here with Day 4 of the 

               Newton's Nook Designs April Release 2018!! 

                          Today we're showcasing the NEW  

        "Little Lillie's" Stamp Set + coordinating "Little Lillie's" Die Set and the 

"April Showers" Stamp Set!! 

                  Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

 For my first Card I wanted to create a Wreath of sorts, using the Flowers form the Set and a few other Flower Images from other Sets!! I've used Bunny Hop, Raccoon Rascals and Sweetheart Tails!! I created my own Stencil using two Squares and a piece of Stencil Plastic after being inspired by a Template created by 
Gina K. Designs!! It's been HARD to get my hands on so I created my own, as I WAIT patiently for the ones she created to arrive!! Follow the Link above to learn more!! 
Then I placed the Stencil into my Misti and Stamped the Images, turning the Paper once turn each time until my Wreath Image was complete!! Then I used Copic Markers to color in my Images!! Some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen was added to each of the Flowers and then some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops was added to the Centers of each Flower!! The Texture and Shimmer add ALOT to this simple, but striking Card design!! I Stamped and Embossed the April Showers Sentiment after masking part of it onto my Cardstock Circle. I backed it with a Black Cardstock Circle and added 3-D Foam Squares to the back of the Circle to POP it off the Card!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! I can see making a whole set of these as a Gift!!  

I Stamped and Embossed the Lillie Image onto some Grey Cardstock and used my Prisma Colored Pencils to color in the Image!! I wanted a SOFT background so the Lillie would POP so I Die CUt a Vellum Dollie and a Cardstock Circle that I inked on the right hand side with some Tumbled Glass Ink!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and used 3-D Foam Tape to POP it up of f the Image!! 3-D Foam was also added to the Lillie Image as well!! For the Card Case, I used some Text Patterned Paper that I Die Cut using the Dotted Studio Katia Rectangle Die!! I cut it alittle smaller to fit the design!! I added some ColoriQue Black Diamond Ink Splatters!! A few Pretty Pink Posh Sequins were added to finish off the Design!!
