         I'm here with Day 1 of the Newton's Nook Designs January Release!! 

       Today we're showcasing the NEW Bokeh Hearts Stencil Die Set, “Tides of Love” Stamp Set + coordinating "Tides of Love" Dies!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Sets!!

How SWEET are these Images!! I LOVE creating Little Gift for LOVED ones, and these Images are PERFECT for Tags!! I've used the NND Fancy Edges Tag Die Set for the Base of my Tag cut from White Cardstock, then Die Cut another Tag from some Sunny Studios Patterned Paper and used the Fancy Edges Die to create the Neat Large Scalloped Design!! Then I add some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink to make it POP!! I Stamped and Embossed the Image using Black Onyx Ink and WoW Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to color the Image in!! 

(Octopi: BG10, BG45 & BG49  Cheeks: RV11  Heart: RV02, RV09, & RV19) I Die CUt the Images out using the coordinating Dies and added some White Gel Pel Highlights!! 

For the Sentiment I wanted to make it different colors, and I wanted to used Embossing Powders, so with the help of the MISTI Stamping tool and some Therm O Web Purple Tape, I masked off the Words and then Stamped the "You & My" in Black Onyx Ink and the "Octopi" with Peackock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I Stamped the "Heart" with some Versa Fine Embossing Ink and used the WoW Carasal Embossing Powder!! It matched so well to the Patterned Paper and I LOVE the added Sparkle and contrast it adds to the Sentiment!! Created a Gift Bag added some Gina K Designs Gingham Ribbon and Raspberry Seam Binding and my Gift Bag was finished!!  SURE to bring a SMILE to the recipients face this Valentine's Season!!

Newton's Nook Designs November Release 2019 ~ Penguin Pile & Let it Snow!!

         I'm here with Day 3 of the Newton's Nook Designs November Release!! 

       Today we're showcasing the NEW  

"Penguin Pile" Stamp Set + coordinating "Penguin Pile" Dies and the 

"Let it Snow" Mini Stamp Set!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

How SWEET are those Penguins!!?? I LOVE them and with the Holiday Season approaching rapidly, I thought it would be FUN to show how AMAZING they look on Winter/Holiday Tags!! I have several Family/Friends with Winter Birthdays so this Tag Design is going to be PERFECT for those!! I can coordinate the Colors of my Image with the Patterned Paper I want to use and it make coloring the Image a BREEZE too!! I started by Stamping and Embossing the Image and coloring it in with Copic Markers!! I used (Penguins: N0, N2, N4, N6 & N8   Cheeks: R00  Beaks & Feet: YR00 & YR68  Red: R43, R46 & R89  Green: YG61, YG63 & YG67  Pink: RV00, RV11 & RV34  White: N0 & N2) 

I Die Cut the Image out using the coordinating Die!! Then I added White Gel Pen Details Black Glaze Pen to the Eyes and Blizzard Glitter Nuvo Drops to the Rims of the Hats and Ear Muffs!! I also added some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Beaks and Feet for some dimension and shine!! 

I Die Cut 2 Tags using the Fancy Edges Tag Die!! One from White Cardstock and one from some Patterned Paper!! I then used the Bokeh Stencil as a Mask to Highlight the area where I planned on Stamping and Embossing the Sentiment!! I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then Inked over it with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink to get the perfect match for the Patterned Paper!! I added some Water Splatters and let it dry!! Then I used a Static Bag to coat over the Inked Circle and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment!! I Masked parts of the sentiment in order to Highlight a couple of the words!! I used WoW Embossing Powder in Clear and Rockin' Red!! The Irridescent Glitter in the Embossing Powder coordinates with the Iridescent Glitter in the Blizzard Nuvo Drops!! I used a Mini White Clothes Pin to attach the Tags to the Gift Bag and then created a Scrap Ribbon Bow!! I LOVE the way it turned out and just know it's going to bring SMILES to the recipient!! 

For my second Card I wanted to showcase this BEAUTIFUL Sentiment!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment with some Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I used Copic Markers to color it in with an Ombre` Design!! 

I used (B02, B32, B34, B37 & B39)

I then used a Stitched Square Die to Die Cut the Sentiment centering in in the Middle!! I wanted to Frame the Sentiment so I Die Cut another Stitched Square and used the Sunny Studio Stamps Layered Snowflake Frame Die and Die Cut it from the center of the Stitched Square!! It fit the NND Frames Squared Scalloped Frame PERFECTLY!! I wanted the Snowflakes to tie into the Design some I inked the tips of the Snowflakes with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink!! For the Cardbase Panel I used the NND Snowfall Stencil and inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink!!  

I Adhered the Stitched Squares together using some TE Foam Strips after adding some Blizzard Glitter Nuvo Drops to the Snowflakes and some Iridescent Jewels to the center of the Large Snowflakes!! I LOVE the additions of Sparkle!! Then I glued the Stitched Square to the center of the Scalloped Square!! I added Foam Tape to the back of the Scalloped Square and adhered it to the A2 Snowflake Stenciled Cardbase!!  This Card is just STUNNING in real like and could be used for SO MANY occastions just by adding an additional Stamped Sentiment on the inside of the Card!!

I was inspired by my Tags for Day 3 and I want to Highlight the Sentiment 

this time and I LOVE the way it looks!!

Fabulous Floral Mother's Day Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

Fabulous Floral Mother's Day Card!!

HELLO Crafty Friends!! I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today!! 

If your Mother likes flowers she would adore a gorgeous floral card like this one!! I created this amazing card by cutting all those gorgeous flowers out of Taylored Expressions felt using the Newton's Nook Designs Flower Trio Die Set!! I cut each Flower multiple times using a combination of different colored felts (Lilac and Dark Berry with Butter for the center then I used Peach and Papaya along with Marshmallow for the Center) I layered them all together to create those beautiful flowers. Then added a button to the center of each one to give it a special finishing touch!! Once I had all those flowers made I added them onto this gorgeous Mother's Day Card with Foam Tape to add some Dimension!! I Die Cut my Cardbase from TE Marshmallow Cardstock and added the Stamped and Embossed sentiment with the floral flourishes from our Mother's Day Stamp Set into the center. I inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the Background and then added color to the flowers and leaves using Copic Markers!! I added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Center of the Flowers!! I framed the sentiment with the felt flowers on the top and bottom and added some leaves too round out the Design!! The scalloped edge behind the image was also cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. from some Sunny Studio Gingham Lavender Patterned Paper!!

All those flowers and layers really make the card feel extra special! My Grandma has ALWAYS LOVED Flowers and her Front and Back Porch have always been covered with BEAUTIFUL Blooms!! I just KNOW she's going to cherish this Card for Mother's Day!!

EVERY Month on the 18th we'll be sharing a New Inspiration Challenge Photo!! 

Lets take a look at the Project I've made for the NEW 
Calling All Sistahs July Encouragement Challenge CAS15!!

I started by making my Card Background!! I wanted an Embossed background as it reminds me of the Texture of the Wire Vase in the Inspiration Photo!! So I Stamped and Embossed the Hope Ribbon from the Word Ribbon Stamp Set all across my Cardbase using WoW White Embossing Powder!! Then I used the largest Star Fri-Dies to Die Cut my Shaker Window!! For the Inside of my Window I used some Sunny Studios Patterned Paper and Stamped and Embossed the "Never Give Up Hope" Sentiment also from the Word Ribbon Stamp Set in Gun Metal Hero Arts Embossing Powder!! 

I added an assortment of Pretty Pink Posh Sequins and Mini Silver Stars to finish off the Design!!
