Thinking of You with Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Design Blog today sharing this BEAUTIFUL Thinking of You Card showcasing the Sunflower Days Stamp and Die Set and the Gingham Stencil along with a few other products!! 

I Started by Stenciling that BEAUTIFUL Two Toned Background!! I LOVE how Versatile the Stencils are and that there are so many ways to use them!! This one is probably my FAVORITE way!! 

I Sprayed the back side of my Stencil with some Pixie Spray and then adhered it over my TE Potato Chip Cardstock Card Panel!! Then I inked over the Stencil with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink using my TE Blender Brush!! I removed the Stencil and then flipped the Design so I could achieve the FUN Cross Hatch Design lining it up with the Design already Inked!! Then I inked with Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide Ink using my TE Blender Brush!! Then I added some Black Soot Distress Paint and some Gold Glitter Splatters sor some extra Texture and Sparkle!! SWOON!! I LOVE the results the color combinations are ENDLESS!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the Sunflower Days Images and then Colored them in using Copic Markers!!  Sunflowers: Y11, Y15 & YR23    E30, E33 & E37  Greenery: YG61, YG63 & YG67    Then I Die Cut the Image using the coordinating Sunflower Days Die Set!!  I added some Gold Glitter Pen to the Sunflower Centers and then coated them with some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops!! Once they were Dry I added some White Pen details!! I Die Cut a Circle Die and Inked it with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Thinking of You Sentiment from the Floral Roundabout Stamp Set!! I wanted it to curve with the Circle so I used my MISTI Stamping tool to curve the Stamp to match the Curve of the Circle Die!! I Die Cut the Scalloped Circle Frame from some TE Oreo Cardstock using the Circle Frames Die Set!! Then I adhered the Circle Die Cut ontop and then added the Sunflower Image using some Foam Tape!! I adhered the Scalloped Circle Frame using Foam Tape and adhered it to the Gingham Stencil!! A few Gold Jewels were added to the Card!! 

I also created a FUN Envelope using a coordinating TE Potato Chip Envelope so it matches the Card PERFECTLY!! I LOVE the way this Card Set turned out!!

Newton's Nook Designs February Release ~ Bitty Bibs & Sky Scene Builder Dies!!

SQUEAL!!

         I'm here with Day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs February Release!! 

       Today we're showcasing the NEW "Bitty Bibs" Stamp Set + coordinating "Baby Bibs" Dies and the "Sky Scene Builder" Dies!! Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Sets!!

How FUN are these NEW Sets!!?? I'm just in LOVE and here's what I've Created!!

I LOVE the color Lavender especially for Baby Cards!! So that's the direction I went and I LOVE the results!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Sweet Bunny Bib Image and I colored it in with Copic Markers using (Bunny: N0, N2 & N4  Cheeks and Inside Ears: R11 Flowers: V0, V15 & V09  Y00 & YR23) I Die Cut the Frames and Flags Scalloped Frame from some TE Lavender Glaze Cardstock and used Wilted Violet Distress Ink to ink the Edges of the Scalloped Frame!!

I Die Cut the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables Die into the from of my Card Panel and then Inked around the Heart with Wilted Violet Distress Ink!! I also Inked around the Heart Die Cut just to make it POP against the background!! I also stamped the "Darling Little One" Sentiment using Wilted Violet Distress Ink!! I added the Heart using Foam Tape and then added the Bitty Bib Image and coordinating Die that I also Inked with Wilted Violet Distress Ink!! I Die Cut 2 of the Bows from some Cardstock and Inked it with some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink!! Then I layered them together using a Bling Zot Adhesive Dot in the center and then added an Iridescent Jewel to the center of the Bow along with adding some to the Front of the Card Panel along with Stamping and Embossing the "Congratulations" Sentiment!! 

I wanted to add this Sentiment onto the inside of the Card, because I just LOVE it!! So I Die Cut another Heart from the Lawn Fawn Ouside In Stitched Heart Die from some Taylored Expressions Lavender Glaze Cardstock and Inked the edges with Wilted Violet Distress Ink and then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and the Word Cuter with some Purple Glitz Embossing Powder!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!

Happy Howl-oween with Newton's Nook Designs!!

HAPPY FRIDAY!! 
I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing a FUN Happy Howl-Oween Card!! If you followed during the Release you might have seen my Card that I shared using the CUTE NEW Image from the "Happy Howl-oween" Stamp Set!!?? 
If not here's a look at that Project!! 

I LOVE being able to STRETCH the use of my Products and sometimes I KNOW not every crafter feels comfortable Coloring Larger more intricate Images!! So I wanted to show that you can use those Images as is and then create a BOLD background using whatever medium you may like to use!! SO MANY OPTIONS right!!?? Even just using a Die Cut Panel would be FUN for a Simple Background especially if you're wanting to make SEVERAL of the same design!! I LOVE the look don't you!!??

So for my Card today I wanted to share a SIMILAR Design, meaning I used almost the EXACT same Products!! I changed up the Design a little by adding the Fence Die Cut behind the Image and then I added some Stamped and Embossed Bats and a Few of the SWEET Candy Images also from the same Set!! It's NEAT to compare the two to see what your preference is and maybe there's room for BOTH of the different designs just depending on your time and how many of each Card Design you were needing to create!! 

 I used Distress Oxide Inks in Scattered Straw, Carved Pumpkin and Shaded Lilac for the Sky using the Cascading Stars Stencil!! For the Ground I used Peeled Paint and Black Soot along with the Hills & Grass Stencil!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment using some WoW Neutral Sparkle Glitter Embossing Powder and I LOVE the added Sparkle it gives to the Card!! A Sprinkling of Iridescent Stars were added to the background too for even more Sparkle and Shine!! 

After Stamping and Embossing the Images I used Copic Markers to Color them in!! 

(Witch Puppy: E40, E42, E43, E44 & E47  Pumpkin Puppy: C00, C0, C2 & C4  Cheeks: ROO  Pumpkin: YR00, YR14 & YR18  Purple Images: V01, V04, V06 & V09  Yellow Images: Y11, Y15 & YR23  Green Images: YG61, YG63 & YG67 Witches Cape: N0, N2, N4 & N8  Fence Die Cut: C0 & C2 Blending out with a Colorless Blender) 

I used a Black Glaze Pen for the BOTH Puppy Noses and Eyes and the Spider and added some White Gel Pen Details for Highlights!! I added some Blizzard Glitter Nuvo Drops for some Dimension and Shine to the Stars and Band on the Witches Hat and to the Moon on the Treat Bag along with some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops for the Broom Handle to help make it look more 3D!! I used Therm O Web 3-D Foam Squares to POP the Images up and Then I framed the whole panel with a postage edged frame from our Framework Die Set in some Passion Punch & Oreo TE Cardstock and created my Cardbase from some TE Build a Scene Halloween Patterned Paper!!

         I'm here with Day 3 of the 

               Newton's Nook Designs July Release 2019!! 

.       Today we're showcasing the NEW  

"Tropical Fringe" Stamp Set + "Zoo Party" Stamp Sets!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

SWOON!! I just LOVE these NEW Sets!! I wanted to Watercolor with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers so I Stamped and Embossed the Image onto Bristol Cardstock!! Then used my Zigs to Watercolor the Design!! I added some White Gel Pen Details along with some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops and some Orange Fizz Glitter Nuvo Drops!! I also added some Pink Flamingo Jewels to the center of the Hibiscus Flowers for even more Sparkle!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment using WoW Neutral Shimmer Glitter Embossing Powder and I LOVE the Sparkle!! I used my Zigs to color in the YOU!! Then I layered everything together using the Frames Squared Die Set and some Taylored Expressions Sea Salt and Oreo Cardstocks!! 

For my last Card I wanted to show how you could create some SUPER EASY and SWEET Invitations for that SPECIAL Celebration!! I LOVE this Image and its SO VERSATILE!! Whether you leave it plain or color it the Image is the Focal!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and used some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to add to the center of the Circle!! I added a Doodle Bug Heart Sprinkle and layered it onto the Circle Die cut from the Frames Squared Die Set that I cut from some Taylored Expressions Sprinkle Cardstock!! I also Die Cut the Scalloped Square from the same Sprinkles Cardstock to tie it all together!!

Fabulous Floral Mother's Day Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

Fabulous Floral Mother's Day Card!!

HELLO Crafty Friends!! I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today!! 

If your Mother likes flowers she would adore a gorgeous floral card like this one!! I created this amazing card by cutting all those gorgeous flowers out of Taylored Expressions felt using the Newton's Nook Designs Flower Trio Die Set!! I cut each Flower multiple times using a combination of different colored felts (Lilac and Dark Berry with Butter for the center then I used Peach and Papaya along with Marshmallow for the Center) I layered them all together to create those beautiful flowers. Then added a button to the center of each one to give it a special finishing touch!! Once I had all those flowers made I added them onto this gorgeous Mother's Day Card with Foam Tape to add some Dimension!! I Die Cut my Cardbase from TE Marshmallow Cardstock and added the Stamped and Embossed sentiment with the floral flourishes from our Mother's Day Stamp Set into the center. I inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the Background and then added color to the flowers and leaves using Copic Markers!! I added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Center of the Flowers!! I framed the sentiment with the felt flowers on the top and bottom and added some leaves too round out the Design!! The scalloped edge behind the image was also cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. from some Sunny Studio Gingham Lavender Patterned Paper!!

All those flowers and layers really make the card feel extra special! My Grandma has ALWAYS LOVED Flowers and her Front and Back Porch have always been covered with BEAUTIFUL Blooms!! I just KNOW she's going to cherish this Card for Mother's Day!!
