         I'm here with Day 2 of the 

               Newton's Nook Designs March Release 2019!! 

.       Today we're showcasing the NEW  

"Floral Fringe" Stamp Set + coordinating "Frames Squared" Die Set!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

So for my Project today I decided to create a SWEET Gift Box of Cards to give as a Gift!! I Started by creating a Belly Band for the Box Closure!! I Die Cut the Flowers from the Flower Trio Die Set released last Month from some Taylored Expressions Felt!! SWOON!! I used Marshmallow, Butter, Creamsicle, Cranberry, Aqua Mist, Robin's Egg, Avocado, Grass Green and Moss!! I used some Vintage Buttons from my stash for the Centers along with some Black May Arts Burlap Twine!! Then I used the Square Label shape and Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment from the NEW Floral Fringe Stamp Set with some WoW Embossing Powder Neutral Shimmer Glitter Embossing Powder after adding alittle Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to make it POP!! Here's a look at the Flower Trio Die Set just incase you missed it last month!! 

 Next I created a Square Box for my Card Set!! I used the We R Memory Keepers 123 Punch Board!! The Cardstock is Salt Water Taffy from Taylored Expressions and the Plaid Patterned Paper is from the My Mind's Eye Gingham Farms Collection ~ Madi!! 
SWOON!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!

 For the Cards I used the NEW Framed Square Die Set and Die Cut the Scalloped Square Frames from Taylored Expressions Oreo Cardstock and Die Cut a Square of TE Salt Water Taffy Cardstock for a POP of Color!! I Stamped and Embossed the Floral Fringe Image using WoW Fine Detail Clear Embossing Powder and Die Cut it out to add to the Center of my Cards!! I used TE Sugar Cube Cardstock for my Square Cardbases!!

 I wanted to include a Colored Card in the Set so the recipient would have an idea of how they would look colored!! I used Copic Markers!! Then added touched of Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to the center of the Flowers to add some Dimension and Sparkle!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!

Here's a look at the Colored Card with my Gift Box and Belly Band!! SWOON!! I LOVE the Colors and this makes me SO READY for planting Flowers this Year!! HURRY up Spring!! 

Here's a Look at the Cards!! I think the recipient will have a BLAST coloring these to give away!! I'll be including both a Package of Markers and a Package of Colored Pencils!! That way they can decided what they want to use to color them in with!! 

For the sentiments, I Die Cut the Larger Circles form the NEW Frames Squared Die Set and added some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink then Stamped and Embossed the Sentiments using the WoW Neutral Sparkle Glitter Embossing Powder and a Thanks a Bunch Sentiment from the NEW Floral Fringe Stamp Set!! I included some Foam Tape on the back so all they have to do is add them to the Card Fronts once they are done Coloring them in!! Then I placed them all into a Little Glassine Bag to include them in the Gift Box!! I LOVE this idea for ANY occasion!! With Graduation coming up this is going to be a Gift for my Niece!!

Happy Bird-Day Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!! 
I'm up on the Newton's Nook Blog today sharing this Bright and Cheerful Happy Bird-day Card!!

I used the Winter Birds Stamp Set to create a colorful birthday card! I started out by Stamping and Embossing  the image of the Chickadee from the Winter Birds Stamp Set but instead of coloring it in traditional colors I changed it up by making the SWEET Chickadee Bird shades of Pink to coordinate with the Well Hello Pattered Paper Pad I used by My Mind's Eye!! As soon as I saw this Pad I just KNEW I had to have it and it coordinates SO WELL with SEVERAL of the AMAZING NND Stamp Sets!! Think about that next time your looking at NEW Pads to buy!! 

I added some Cracked Pistachio Distress Paint Splatters to the Pattered Paper Card Base for some added texture and sat it aside to dry!! Then I die cut the SWEET Chickadee Bird using the coordinating Winter Birds Die Set!! To make this even MORE FUN I colored a Party Hat from the Newton Celebrates Stamp Set and cut it out with the Newton Celebrates Die Set to add it onto the Chickadee Birds head!! I added the Bright and Cheerful Chickadee Bird to my card, adding some Wild Honey Distress Ink behind him on a circle die cur!! For my card base I used the bold bird themed patterned paper!! Then I added the "celebrate" sentiment from our Birthday Essentials Stamp Set, Stamping and Embossing it onto a banner from our Frames & Flags Die Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Neutral Shimmer Glitter Embossing Powder!! I added s sprinkling of Blue Iridescent Sequins from my stash and I think it finishes it off PERFECTLY!! I LOVE the way it turned out and WHO wouldn't want to receive a Bird-Day Card like this!!??

Inky Paws Challenge #36 - Halloween w/ Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!! 

 

Today is the start of a New Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Inspiration Photo and the theme Inky Paws Challenge #36 - Halloween!! decided to make a FUN Treat Bag using the New Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Bag!! I used some Older My Mind's Eye Halloween Patterned Paper to Die Cut the Box and then Stamped and Embossed the Image from the New  Newton's Boo-tiful Night Stamp Set!! I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to Watercolor the Image and then attached it to the Front of the Treat Box!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!
