HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

I'm here today to share a Couple Projects using the Spellbinders April Stitching Die of the Month Membership!!
SWOON!! If you haven't seen ALL of the AMAZING Inspiration using this Set, hopefully this post will give you even more Ideas!! I LOVE how VERSITALE this Set it and I have some NEW Ideas using them to create a BEAUTIFUL Large Stitched Flower!!

I Started by Die Cutting the different Layers of the Petals, Die Cutting 2 of Each Petal!! Then I Stitched the different Layers and adhered them together using some Double Sided Adhesive!! I adhered the Different Layers together using Foam Tape for some added Dimension as well as turning the Petals Up to add even more Dimension!! I rotated the Layers in order to achieve the FUN Flower Shape!!

I Die Cut a Circle for the Center of the Flowers and used some WoW Glitter Embossing Powder to add some Sparkle and Shine to the Circle Center adhering it to the Flower using Double Sided Adhesive!!
I Hot Foiled the Sentiment "Happy Birthday" from the Sentimental Ampersand Hot Foil & Die Set to the Fluted Classics Rectangle Die that was Die Cut from some Spellbinders Snowdrift Cardstock using some Copper Hot Foil and the Glimmer Hot Foil System!! SWOON!! I LOVE the way the Copper Hot Foil matches the Sparkle of the Sunflower Center!! It's just BEAUTIFUL!!
I adhered the Stitched Sunflower and the Sunflowers Leaves that were cut using the Zinnia Etched Die Set from Patterned Paper to the Hot Foiled Fluted Classics Rectangle Die using some Double Sided Adhesive!! Then adhered the Panel to the Patterned Paper Card Panel using Foam Tape for Dimension!!

I repeated the same process only changing the Colors and Patterns of the Stitched Flower and Leaves!!
I Die Cut a Circle for the Center of the Flowers and used some WoW Glitter Embossing Powder to add some Sparkle and Shine to the Circle Center adhering it to the Flower using Double Sided Adhesive!!

I Hot Foiled the Sentiment to the Fluted Classics Rectangle Die that was Die Cut from some Spellbinders Snowdrift Cardstock using some Matte Gold Hot Foil and the Glimmer Hot Foil System!! SWOON!! I LOVE the way the Matte Gold Hot Foil matches the Sparkle of the Flower Center!!
It's just BEAUTIFUL!!

I adhered the Stitched Flower and the Flower Leaves that were cut using the Zinnia Etched Die Set from Patterned Paper to the Hot Foiled Fluted Classics Rectangle Die using some Double Sided Adhesive!! Then adhered the Panel to the Patterned Paper Card Panel using Foam Tape for Dimension!!

I Created this last card the EXACT same way as the Last one, just changing the Patterned Paper!! I LOVE this Design as you can create ANY Flower Color Combo you'd like to coordinate with you Patterned Paper choice!!

Again I used WoW Glitter Embossing Powder to Cover the Circle Flower Center!! SWOON!! I LOVE the touch of Sparkle!!

Thanks So Much Card w/ Poshta Design!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!

I'm here today with another Card using Products from Poshta Design Banded Egg Details Die along with a Tim Holtz Tree Rings 3-D Embossing Folder and a Sentiment from Newton's Nook Designs Daffodils Stamp Set!!
I started by Die Cutting a Card Panel from a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock then Embossed it with the Tim Holtz Tree Rings 3-D Embossing Folder!! Then I added some Distress Oxide Inks in Salvaged Patina, Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron!! Then I added some Water Splatters for even more texture!!
Then I took the Banded Egg Details Die (Tulip Base) and Die Cut it into the Card Panel!! Then I Die Cut all of the Tulip Pieces along with the Leaf Pieces from some Cardstock!! I Inked the Tulip pieces with some Fossilized Amber and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Inks and Inked the Leaves with some Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink!!
Then I Stitched all of the Tulips and Leaves onto the Card Panel!! SWOON!! I just LOVE how this Card turned out!! So much TEXTURE and I LOVE how FUN it is to stitch onto a Card Panel using a Simple Shape like the Tulips!! You could make some VERY Stunning CAS Cards using just those Tulips and could get a completely different look!!

I finished the Card off by Stamping and Embossing the "Thanks So Much" Sentiment from the Newton's Nook Designs Daffodil Stamp Set onto a Die Cut Banner using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I adhered it to the Card Panel using Foam Tape and added some Trinity Stamps Crystal Clear Rhinestones for some added Sparkle!!

Here's a Close up look at the Card Panel!! AWESOME Texture right!!?? I even LOVE these Colors!! Just make me HAPPY!!

So there you have it another way to use some of those Smaller Detail Dies in the Banded Egg Details Die Set to create some Cards!! You could even use Felt for the Tulips for a completely different Design!! Seriously, the possibilities are ENDLESS with these Dies!! I hope I've INSPIRED you today and if you create something please Tag Me (@LarissaHeskettDesigns) and Poshta Design on Social Media as we LOVE to see what you're creating!!

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today!! I hope you have a FABULOUS WEEK!! Join me on Friday for another Card using some Newton's Nook Designs Products!!

Cas-ual Fridays CFC170 No Dies Allowed Challenge!! =)

HELLO!!
I wanted to share this picture of our Sunrise here in Nebraska this morning!! It was a jumping off point for this Card!!

I wanted to stop in and share a card I have created for the CAS-UAL Fridays CFC170 No Dies Allowed Challenge!! I'm actually NEW to them, but I had PLAY ALONG when I saw the FUN Challenge they were having and to tryout for the Design Team Call they're having for their Challenge Team too!!

I wanted a Rainbow Inked Background so I stamped my Sentiment using Versa-Fine Black Onyx Ink and then used Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder to Emboss it onto a strip of Vellum!! I have been seeing ALOT of Cards being shared with some REALLY FUN Stitching Techniques, so I decided to try some stitching to add Dimension too!! I thought it would be FUN to try this idea on a Sentiment rather than an Image and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I also thought it would be FUN to do it in Colors kinda mimicking a Rainbow Design!! I reversed the order though, just because I knew I wanted to have my stitched sentiment and some confetti coming from the Right side of my card and I thought having the Darker colors on the left side would help to balance out my card!! I think it did too!!?? I used the W&W The Big, the Bold, and the Happy Stamp Set!! I used a Piercing Tool to pierce a design and then used Embroidery Thread to follow my design!! I then embossed some Hearts and some Confetti and then I used Distress Ink in the Peacock Feathers, Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and Picked Raspberry!! I used a Gradient affect for each of the colors and then sprinkled some water onto the panel to add extra dimension!!

I added some of my Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Sequins and a few Clear Crystal Sequins in both 4mm & 6mm Simon Says Stamp!! Then I added my Stitched Vellum Sentiment Panel to my Card Base
and added really thin Black Cardstock Strips for a seamless Design!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! I'd also like to try this only next time trying to add just a touch of the Distress Ink Colors for a more clean look!! =)

Paper Smooches Anything Goes Challenge!! =)

Hello!!
I'm SO EXCITED to share a New Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes Challenge with you for this Week!! I have been working on more Back To School Cards and for some reason I just CAN'T STOP creating them!!  =) I've made a FUN card for today using the  Smarty Pants Stamp Set, Fruit People Die Set, Foliage 1 Dies, School Icons Dies Set and the Borders 2 Dies Set!! I used some October Afternoon Fabric from their Sidewalks Paper Collection Line!! I just LOVED this Collection so when I found the Fabric at a Fabric Store I just had to HAVE it!! =) I Die Cut all of the Images and used my Sewing Machine to Stitch around all of the Apples!! I added the rest of the Die Cuts and Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment!! I wanted it to look like it was the LAST Page in a Notebook so I Die Cut Several of the Paper Edges and then Free Hand Cut the other Edges and Lined them all up together and Stitched them all together to the Card Front!! I REALLY LOVE the way it turned out and its hard to show in the Photos, but in real life it really does look neat!! =)
I made these CUTIE Little Notebooks for the Teacher's and then I made some for my Boys, and my Niece's and Nephew!! The Fabric is a Cosmo Cricket Design from their Baby Jane Paper Collection Line!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this Fabric!! I Stitched around the Die Cuts using my Sewing Machine and I was going for a Handmade Look!! =) LOL!! I used the Smarty Pants Stamp Set, Paper Die, Tooth Fairy Die Set, Foliage 1 Dies, School Icons Dies Set  and the Stitched Frames Die Set to create the Heart Hole in the Apple for the Worm to come through!! II added some Burlap Twine and a Vintage Button and my Notebook Cover was done!!  For the Notebook Pages I just Die Cut SEVERAL Printer Paper Die Cuts that I Stitched together!! I Glued the Front and Back Covers to the First and Last Pages of the Notebook Insides to create a Seamless Notebook!! I have ALWAYS LOVED having a Little Notebook for stuff I wanted to write down so I HOPE they LOVE them as MUCH as I Do!!?? I'll be sharing the other designs soon so keep an out for them if your Interested!!??  =)
