Paper Smooches SPARKS ~ Anything Goes Challenge!! =)

Hello!!
I'm here to share a Few Projects for the New Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge!! This weeks theme is Anything Goes!! I'm sharing the LAST of my Teacher Inspired Projects and I just LOVE the way they all turned out!!
I've used the PS Smarty Pants and Spreading Sunshine Stamp Sets along with the Smarty Pants Icons and Easel Dies for my Card today!! I created this for Beckett's Math Teacher and it was a HUGE hit!! =) I used my Distress Markers to Water Color the Image and then I created a FUN 3-D Pencil kind of as a Podium of sorts!! I did some Creative Masking in order to Emboss on the word "Smile" in the Sentiment and I LOVE the way it looks!! I thought it would be FUN to add the Die Cut Thumb Tack to his Hand so I Embossed the End of the Tack too!! HEHEHEHEHE!! =) (So it's supposed to look like he needed to stand on top of the "Pencil Podium" in order to put the Thumb Tack into the "Quote" on the Easel!! FUN RIGHT!!??  =)

I also used the Smarty Pants Stamp Set, Paper Die, Tooth Fairy Die Set, Foliage 1 Dies, School Icons Dies Set, Paper Smooches Gift Tags 2 Die Set, Paint Palette Dies and the Positive Strokes Two Stamp Set for the rest of my Projects!!  

For the Clip Board on the Second Tag I just Cut Off the Legs on the Easel!! I LOVE that you can get MORE uses out of it this way!! =)

I used the   Stamp Set to create a FUN Rainbow of Colors that I Embossed using some Wendy Vechii Embossing Powders!! I then added the Easel that I added a Canvas Die Cut to for the Sentiment!! I Stamped and Embossed it too using some Creative Masking so I could just Emboss part of the Sentiment in a different Color!! I also added the Paintbrush that I Embossed the Top of the Brush on to look as though it had been used to add the Sentiment!! I just LOVE the way it turned out!! =)

  For the Notebook Pages I just Die Cut SEVERAL Printer Paper Die Cuts that I Stitched together!! I Glued the Front and Back Covers to the First and Last Pages of the Notebook Insides to create a Seamless Notebook!! I added some Burlap Twine and a Vintage Button and my Notebook Cover was done!!

FUN with Anything Goes Challenge on the Paper Smooches SPARKS Blog!!

Hello!!
I'm here to share a Couple Cards for the New Anything Goes Challenge over on the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge Blog!! I have been SO EXCITED about the Ring Trio Die since it was Released and I have SO MANY Ideas for using it!! I've used SEVERAL PS Stamps and Die Sets (PS Green Acres and Uplifters Stamp Sets along with the Ring Trio, Green Acres Icons, and Stitched Dies) to create these FUN takes on a Similar Layout, but using different Sets and I made one into a Shaker Card!! I've used my New Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to Water Color all of my Images on Distress Water Color Paper!! I don't have very many of them though, so I had to use some of my Distress Markers for shading and I'm REALLY HAPPY with how well they work together and how the Colors Blend!! I used some My Mind's Eye Burlap Paper for the Ring Trio Die Frame on my Farm Scene and I LOVE the way it looks!!  This Farmer is SO PROUD of his Family of Animals!! He just CAN'T Help wanting to Talk about them and wanting to show them off to ANYONE who will look at them!! This Card could be used for SO MANY Occasions!! Infact, I think My Dad is going to get it for being such an AMAZING Dad, Grandpa, Role Model, Farmer/Rancher you Name it I LOVE my Dad and I'm SO BLESSED to have him as my Dad and my boys to be able to have him for their Grandpa!! He's BEYOND BRAG WORTHY!!  =)SQUEAL!!
I used Martha Stewart Crafts Coarse Crystal Glitter along with some Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Crystal Clear Sequins and some Mini Blue Iridescent Sequins from my Stash for the Shaker Filler!! The Wiggly Eyes just Finish off the Pelican and I just CAN'T HELP but SMILE thinking about how "YUMMY" he thinks those Fish look!! He's almost Delirious with his thoughts of  how GOOD they'd Taste!!  =) Sometimes I wonder if when you make Scene Cards if EVERYONE Else INVISIONS the SAME Silly Stories in their Minds!!?? I make my Husband and Boys Laugh when I tell them the Stories and I think it makes the Card come to LIFE that much MORE!! =) LOL!!

Ocean Water Shaker Card w/ Paper Smooches and PPP Sequins!!

I'm stopping in to share a REALLY FUN Water Shaker Card Concept that I have been working on for about 2 Weeks!! I'm joining the FUN over on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog for the Water Color Blog Hop!! I wanted to see if I could make an Ocean Water Shaker Card using actual Water and I FINALLY Figured out a way to do it!! YIPPEE!! So I'm here to share how I did it and I hope you'll give it a try and maybe even play around with the Concept/Idea yourself and see if there are any other ways to create/use tis FUN Idea for our Ocean/Water themed Cards!! =) I started by using the Paper Smooches Briny Blue Stamp Set!! I stamped my Scene using Distress Markers on some Distress Water Color Paper to stamp my Solid Images and then I used a Water Brush to Water Color them!! Then I colored over them with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker and added some WoW Detail Clear Embossing Powder and Embossed all of my Images!! By doing this is makes it so I DON'T have to create Masks for ALL of my Images when I go to add my Distress Inked Background!! I used Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks for my Ocean and then added Drops of Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers along with Water and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I then used my Food Saver Machine to Seal some Distilled Water, Glycerin, Glitter, Distress Stain in both Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio and some Pretty Pink Posh 6mm Irridescent Bermuda Blue Sequins!! I also added a few Mini Sequins from my stash and I just LOVE the look!! To finish off the Card Front I've Die Cut a Flag from the Paper Smooches Flag Tags Die Set along with a Tiny Heart from the Paper Smooches Tiny Hearts Die Set that I Water Colored and covered with Wink of Stella Glitter and WoW Embossing Powder to make it match the Scene!! I stamped my Sentiment also from the Briny Blue Stamp Set and added it with some Foam Tape!! I found that using the Glycerin instead of just the Plain Water really makes it more thick so when trying to use it for the Front of a Card it Holds its shape better!! It's ALOT like making a Snow Globe only your sealing it in a Bag instead of putting it in a Jar!! =) I've also made a QUICK Video just to share!! I hope you ENJOY IT!! I sure had FUN Making it!! SQUEAL!!  =)

I also saw that Yainea shared a SUPER FUN Idea with a Similar Technique this Week over on the Lawn Fawn Blog during the Release Preview of their New Fintastic Friends Stamp Set!! So if you haven't seen it you can go and check it out too!! She has been in the Hospital, so she hasn't shared how she created her card yet, but she said she would share a Video Soon!! =) So that is TOTALLY something EXCITING to keep an eye out for!! SQUEAL!! I just LOVE it!! =)

Father's Day Card w/ Paper Smooches ~ Royally Handsome/Funny!!?? =)

HELLO!!
I'm stopping in to share a card I've made for my Father-In-Law for Father's Day!! =) I'm playing along with the New Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes Challenge and their Guest Designer Search Challenge for the month of July!! When I first saw the New Daddy Yo Stamp Set from Paper Smooches I just had to Laugh!! (In a GOOD WAY!!) The saying THANKS for the Good Looks has been used in several different forms since I have known Adam (my husband) and his Family!! =) How PERFECT was this going to be for a Father's Day Card!!?? Plus, with us now having two VERY Handsome Sons (if I do say so my self) =) of our own it makes it even more Perfect!! =) I also thought it would be FUN to use the Cute (Handsome) Frog Image from the Royal Cuteness Stamp Set and the Cut it out using Coordinating Royal Icons Die Set as the Focal Image!! Greyson and Beckett both LOVE Frogs and living on a Farm that located in the Creek Bottom makes them a HUGE Part of our Lives too!! Infact since it has been raining pretty much everyday//night I wish you could hear how AWESOME they sound!! It's like a Symphony of Frogs Croaking Morning and Night and you'd think we were living on the Salt Marsh somewhere instead of in S.W Corner of Nebraska on a Farm in the Creek Bottom!! We LOVE IT!! =) I decided to use Copic Markers to color in my Frog and SQUEAL I LOVE the way it turned out!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE to color and ALWAYS have!! I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY New to Copics, but the more I get to practice and use them the more I FALL in LOVE with them!! Makes me want to Color EVERYDAY!! =) I then wanted to really make him come ALIVE so I decided to add a Mustache and a Bow Tie also from the New Daddy Yo Stamp Set!! Mark has a FULL Beard so I thought this would be close to emulating that and although, he'd NEVER be caught dead with a Bow Tie (HAHAHAHA) I thought it finished him off and it made me and the Boys SMILE!! Plus, the reaction we're going to get from Mark when he sees it!! LOL is going to be WORTH IT!!  =) I also stamped the Row of Stars also from the Set and then used the Hot Spots SM Set 1 Dies Star Border Die to Die Cut a Couple Larger Stars in the same Gold Color and it just really makes a statement and draws your eyes into the Center of the Card!! =) I Layered two of the Gift Tags 2 Dies using the Largest Stitched Tag Die Cuts together and then pulled the edges up alittle just to add some dimension!! A Burlap String finishes it off and then I layered it onto a Stripped Chevron Patterned Paper from the Chickaniddy's Scrumptios Collection and used the Stitched Border Dies to create a Stitched Grass Hill!! It Grounds the Tag/Image and I just know Mark is really going to get a Kick out of this Card!!

This Little BEAUTY was wanting a Photo!! =) Gotta LOVE when Nature tries to HELP!! She kept Landing on my Card and Finally I had to have Beckett come to the rescue!! He had FUN showing Greyson and I could just LISTEN to their LAUGHTER and EXCITMENT ALL DAY!! Just thought I'd share alittle Piece of HAPPINESS from our Neck of the Farm!! =)

Extra Anything Thing Goes Challegne with Paper Smooches SPARKS!! =)

YEAH!! Who's ready for an EXTRA Anything Goes Challenge over on the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge Blog!!?? When the Month has a 5th Week we get to Host an EXTRA Anything Goes Challenge!! This week I decided to use the Sweet Twiggy Florets Stamp Set and the Ruffle Pleats Die!! I wanted to create a Sweet Thank You card and I just LOVE the way it came together!! The Twiggy Florets Stamp Set has SO MANY uses!! I thought I'd Paper Piece a Daisy and then I also Layered the Bottom Half of the Daisy for a FUN Dimensional Look to my Flower!! I created a Pleated Border for the Bottom of my Card to ground everything!! I added some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and a few Black Ink Splatters!!  I added a row of Gold Sequin Trim and a Few Scattered Sequins and my Card was done!! =)
