Newton's Nook Designs March Release 2018 ~ Day 4 ~ Birthday Essentials!! =)

                                     SQUEAL!!
                                     I'm here with Day 4, the final day of the
               Newton's Nook Designs March Release 2018!!
                          Today we're showcasing the NEW  
                         "Birthday Essentials" Stamp Set!!
                  Let's take a look at this AWESOME New Set!!  

For my first card today, I just wanted to put the focus on just the AMAZING Sentiments in this Set!! Two of my FAVORITE things are Rainbow Colors and Sparkle!! ;) So of course I HAD to combine them for my Card!! I've used the NND Frames & Flags Die Set for the base of my Card design and then Die Cut some of the Rainbow Lawn Fawn Patterned Paper!! I Die Cut the Center Panel and added a light layer of some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink!! I'm ADDICTED to the WoW Glitter Embossing Powders so I've used several to Emboss the BEAUTIFUL "Celebrate" Sentiment to create a Rainbow!! I then Stamped the "It's You Day" Sentiment in between each of the Celebrate Sentiment using some MFT Grout Grey Ink!! I adhered it all onto a MFT Grey Grout Cardstock A2 Sized Card Base!!

For my last Card today I wanted to showcase the AWESOME New "Holding Happiness" Stamp Set along with the AMAZING Sentiment form the "Birthday Essentials" Stamp Set!! I think its FUN to highlight just certain parts of an Image!! So I Stamped and Embossed the Images onto some Distress Watercolor Paper and then I watercolored the Images using Distress Inks in Spun Sugar and Hickory Smoke!! I added some Spun Sugar Spatters and some ColoriQue by Lisa Marie Jimenez splatters in Black Diamond Ink!! For the Top of my Card I Die Cut the NND Frames & Flags Die Set from Black Cardstock to create my Scalloped Edge and then I Die Cut the Stitched Banner Die from some MFT Grey Grout Cardstock!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto it and adhered it to the Right Side of the card!! A Few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins finish of the Design!!

Paper Sweeties June 2017 Inspiration Challenge #56!!

I'm here for the New Paper Sweeties June Inspiration Challenge!!
You're going to LOVE the New Challenge this month!! =)
I've made a Sweet Little Card for today using the Homegrown Stamp Set!!

I thought it would be FUN to Create a Card that I did some Masking and Watercoloring on and then I added some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker and some WoW Clear Detail Embossing Powder!! I used my Distress Markers and my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to Watercolor the Images and then I layered a BEAUTIFUL Sizzix Doily Die Cut and some Vellum along with a Few Crystal Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, a Burlap Twine Bow and a Vintage Button!! I just LOVE the way it turned out and hope you do too!!??=)

Newton's Nook Designs April Release ~ Newton's Birdbath!! =)

HELLO!!

Happy THURSDAY and Welcome to the Last Day of the New Newton's Nook Designs April Release!! Today we're showcasing the New "Newton's Birdbath" Stamp Set + Coordinating Die Set!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the New Images in this Set and think you will too!! Let's take a Look at the FULL Set, Sold Separately available Friday April 14th, 2017!!

SQUEAL!! How Set are these Images!!?? So MANY FUN Scenes you could build and this Image could be used for almost ANY Occasion too!!

 I wanted to create a FUN Garden Scene for my Card today!! =) So I started by creating a Cardstock Cloud Mask with the Sky Borders Die Set to create a FUN Cloud Background using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!  =) Then to create the rest of  my Scene I added in a Picket Fence Die from Lawn Fawn!! It's the PERFCT Size Scale for the Image!! Then to finish off my Scene I added some Grass using the Land Borders Die Set!! I inked it up with Distress Inks too in Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron!! Then I added some Water Droplets for some Texture!! I Stamped and Embossed the Images onto Distress Watercolor Paper and then used Distress Inks to Watercolor them in!! Once they were dry I used the Coordinating Dies to Die Cut them out and then I added some Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen!! I also added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Water in the Birdbath for a Realistic Look!! I REALLY LOVE the way this Card turned out!!  =)

Welcome to the Neighborhood with Cas-ual Fridays CFC170 No Dies Allowed Challenge!! =)

I wanted to stop in and share a card I have created for the CAS-UAL Fridays CFC170 No Dies Allowed Challenge!! I had PLAY ALONG when I saw the FUN Challenge they were having and to tryout for the Design Team Call they're having for their Challenge Team too!!


HELLO!!
I‘m stopping in to share the card that I have made for the CAS-UAL Fridays CFC170 No Dies Allowed Challenge !!  =) There are SEVERAL Amazing entries already, so I hope you‘ll head over and check them all out!! After I looked through my stash I decided to use the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set!! I just LOVE  the Sweet Images and I thought it would be FUN to create a card for the Newly Wed couple that are building a New Home just down the country road from us!! We live near a Bluff that was actually an Indian Hunting Site and we have found SEVERAL Arrowheads and Pottery pieces and things over the years!! So the Tee Pee Scene felt right for several reasons!!

I'm using Two different types of Masking for this Card!! One with Masking Tape for my Stamping, and the other using a Liquid Masking so I can WaterColor my Background!! I started with a piece of Tim Holtz WaterColor Paper and I stamped the center Tee Pee then I Masked off the Tee Pee in the Center first so I could stamp the other two on either side then I Masked them all!! I took the Grass Image from the Bottle It Up Stamp Set and stamped them on the sides of the Masked Tee Pee's to ground everything!! I then took the Masks off and applied another Masking of Rubber Cement over the Tee Pees and the Grass!! I let it dry completely and then I took my Distress Markers and my Acrylic Blocks and created several Watercolors for my card!!! I find it works better and the colors all blend better if I have the Watercolors that I want to use ready to go rather than having to mix them as I go!! Sometimes the area will be dry before I add the next color and they don't blend as much as I'd like them too, so this way I can just paint and I don't have to stop to mix colors in between!! =) I started with the ground and after I had it the way I liked it I sprinkled it with some Table Salt!! I learned this in school and let it dry!! It dries with a REALLY AWESOME Textured look and it reminds me of the soil here!!  Then I colored the sky and I LOVE the mixture I got here!! Looks like a real cloud filled sky!! I let that dry and then I was ready to remove the Rubber Cement Masks!! I was left with my Perfect White Tee Pee's!! I wanted to leave them white, but added color to the details of the Tee Pees so I picked three of my Favorite Color Combos and I Watercolored the rest of the scene!! I even added some shading with Pumice Stone Distress Ink Watercolor to the Tee Pees and then I just had to add some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker to the Colored parts of the Tee Pee's!! I REALLY LOVE the way this turned out!!!!  SQUEAL!! =)

Don't you just LOVE that moment when you put ALOT of work into something and in the end you look at it and just get EXCITED!!??  SQUEAL!!   =)

June Newton's Nook Designs Release ~ Vegetable Garden Stamp Set!! =)

SQUEAL!! Today we're kicking off Day Three of the New June Newton's Nook Designs Release and you are in for a HUGE TREAT again today!! This New Stamp Set is just AMAZING and you're going to just LOVE using these Images!! =)

Let's take a FULL Look at the New

"Vegetable Garden" Stamp Set!!

 See I told you!! Aren't these Veggie Images AWESOME!!??

Well you know me I couldn't pick just one FAVORITE, so I decided to showcase them ALL on one Card!! SQUEAL!! Besides I don't know about you but once my Garden Starts to Produce I always have TONS of Veggies to give away so this made sense to me anyway!! =) 

I started by Stamping and Embossing my Images onto some Distress Water Color Paper!! I used my Misti Stamping Tool so I could Stamp them ALL at one time!! I just LOVE that!! =) Then I used some WoW Clear Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder to Emboss the Images!! I Water Colored them using my Distress Inks and I really LOVE the way it turned out!! I wanted a Vintage Look and then I added some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker on top of ALL of the Veggies to make them SPARKLE!! YUMMY!! I LOVE that about Vegetables Fresh from the Garden they just SHINE BEGGING for you to EAT them!! =) I then added some Black, White and Gold Acrylic Paint Splatters for some Texture and then added a MFT Stitched Border and some Scalloped Die Cut Edges to make the Panel POP!! I Stamped and Embossed Two Sentiments together and then added a Stamped Heart Image from the NND Happy Little Thoughts Stamp Set!!
