Newton's Nook Designs June Release 2024 ~ Barn Die Set, Tractor Die Set & Barnyard Paper Pad!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs June Release 2024!! Today I'm sharing a Project that I've made using the NEW Barn Die Set, NEW Tractor Die Set and the NEW Barnyard Paper Pad!!

SQUEAL!! I ADORE these NEW Farm Themed Products and I had a BLAST creating my Card for today!! I Started by Die Cutting everything from White Cardstock and then I Colored with Copic Markers!! You could also Ink Blend with your favorite Inks!! I just wanted to add specific Shading to these Images so Coloring with Copic Markers was my choice for todays Projects!! 

I Die Cut the Card Panel from some White Cardstock using the Basic Frames Die Set and then I used the Hills and Grass Stencil to create my Inked Background!! I used Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink for the Sky, Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink for the Pasture and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink for the Barn Yard!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the NEW Farmer Newton Stamp Set that will be showcased tomorrow!! So you're getting a Sneak Peek!! I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters along with some Copic Marker Dots and Grass and then I finished it off with some White Gel Pen Highlights!! 

I Added the Card Panel to a Framework Frame Die Cut from some Black Cardstock and then I adhered the Images to the Card Panel!! I LOVE how this turned out and I can't wait to combine these Images to create some Farm Scenes!! I already know these NEW Products are going to see LOTS of use here at my house!!

Newton's Nook Designs April Release 2024 ~ Cherry Blossoms!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs April Release 2024!! Today I'm sharing a Project that I've made using the NEW Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set and coordinating NEW Cherry Blossoms Die Set Die Set!! 

Here's a Close up look at ALL of the NEW Products being showcased for today!!

SWOON!! I LOVE this NEW Cherry Blossoms Set!!
There are so many ways it can be used, here's how I used it today!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Images 4 Times!! I Stamped with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to color the Images!! 
Pink: RV00, RV34 RV55     Green: YG00, YG13 & YG17
Brown: E40, E43 & E47
Then I used the coordinating NEW Cherry Blossoms Die Set to Die Cut the Images out!! I added White Gel Pen Highlights and then adhered some Trinity Stamps Fairy Rocks Rhinestones to the center of all of the Cherry Blossom Blooms!! SWOON!! I LOVE the Iridescent Sparkle it adds!! 

Next I created the Card Panel!! I Die Cut the NEW Basic Frames Die from some White Cardstock and I Inked it with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I Added some Victorian Velvet and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink Splatters!! Once the Panel was dry I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment in the center of the Card Panel!! 

Next I adhered the Images to the Card Panel using Foam Tape for some Dimension creating a Frame around the Edge of the Panel!! Then I Die Cut some of the NEW Pastel Basics Pattern Paper using the Frames and Flags Die Set!! I adhered the Card Panel to the Pattern Paper Panel and adhered the Panel to an A2 White Cardstock Cardbase!! I LOVE how this turned out and and feel like you could create this same design and have FUN by changing the Color Combos that you use!! I hope this INSPIRES You and I can't wait to see what you create with this Set!!

Newton's Nook Designs April Release 2024 ~ Floral Delights!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs April Release 2024!! Today I'm sharing a Project that I've made using the NEW Floral Delights Stamp Set and coordinating NEW Floral Delights Die Set Die Set!! 

Here's a Close up look at ALL of the NEW Products being showcased for today!!

SWOON!! I LOVE this NEW Floral Delights Stamp Set and ALL of the AMAZING Images and Sentiments that can be used in so many ways!!
I CAN'T WAIT to see what you create with it!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Images using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color the Images!!

Pink: RV00, RV55 & RV19      Orange: YR00  & YR68      Yellow: Y00, Y13 & YR23     Green: G00 & G29      Green: YG03 & YG67      N0 & N3

Then I Die Cut the Image out using the NEW Floral Delights Die Set!! Next I added some White Gel Pen Highlights and I LOVE the way they look!! 

For the Background I Die Cut the NEW Basic Frames Die from some White Cardstock and I Inked it with some Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks!! Then I Added some Picked Raspberry, Lucky Clover and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink!! I Placed the Images over my Background Panel and tried to Ink where the Flowers and Greenery were!!  Then I added some Water Splatters and let the Panel Dry!! Once Dried I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment with some WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! I LOVE the way it POPS off the Inked Background!! 

Next I adhered the Images to the Card Panel using Foam Tape for some Dimension!! Then I Die Cut some of the NEW Pastel Basics Pattern Paper using the NEW Frames and Tags Die Set!! I adhered the Card Panel to the Pattern Paper Panel and adhered the Panel to an A2 White Cardstock Cardbase!! I LOVE how this turned out and and feel like you could create this same design and have FUN by changing the Color Combos that you use!! SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!! I hope this INSPIRES You and I can't wait to see what you create with this Set!!

Folk Art Fox Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO!!
Today I'm sharing this Folk Art Fox Card I made for the Newton's Nook Designs Blog using the New Cottage Garden Stamp Set and the Coordinating Cottage Garden Die Set!!

 

I've been having a BLAST playing with the New Distress Oxide Inks from Tim Holtz and I created the AMAZING Teal Color on those Foxes by Layering Two Ink Colors, Cracked Pistachio and Faded Jeans!! After I Stamped and Embossed the images with Clear Embossing Powder, I trimmed them out using the coordinating Cottage Garden Die Set and added them on the card in a FUN Folk Art Pattern along with some of the other SWEET Images ALL from the Cottage Garden Stamp Set!! I rotated them in different directions to resemble a lovely Folk Art Pattern that you'd find on a Plate or Wall Hanging!! Then to finish off my card I added some Gems to the Flowers on the Images and some Black Gel Pen to the Eyes of each of the Fox Eyes then the "Hello, Friend" Sentiment Embossed in White Embossing Powder onto a Black Banner from the Garden Window Die Set!! Which is on SALE for this Week ONLY!! (Through April 14th)

It's MY FAVORITE Banner Die and I think if you'd look I use it on more than 1/2 of my Cards!! It's just the PERFECT Size!!  =)

Newton's Nook Designs January Release ~ Newton's Happy Mail!! =)

Happy Monday and Welcome to Day 1 of the New Newton's Nook Designs January Release!! Today we're showcasing the New "Newton's Happy Mail" Stamp Set + the Coordinating "Newton's Happy Mail" Die Set!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these New Images and think you will too!! Let's take a Look at the FULL Set, Sold Separately available January 20th, 2017!!

I've made a Card and Envelope Set!! I started by Die Cutting the Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Frame Die and then Layred it with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Die for my Card Front Panel!!  I also wanted a SWEET Heart Die Cut in the Background so I Die Cut the "Darling Hearts" Die Set from Newton's Nook Designs!! It's the PERFECT Size for this, plus I just LOVE the Stitching!!  =) I wanted a Grass Layer so I Die Cut some using the MFT Grassy Hills Die Set!! I used Distress Inks to Ink up my Background using Tumbled Glass for the Sky and Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover for the Grass!! I added some Water Drops for some texture and I LOVE the way it turned out!! =) I Stamped and Embossed my Images onto Distress Watercolor Paper and then used the Coordinating Dies to Die Cut them out!! SQUEAL!! Can I just say I LOVE LOVE LOVE having the Coordinating Dies for Images like this!! There are SO MANY Possibilities!! Then I used Distress Inks to Watercolor my Images!! I Layered everything together and added the Images with some Foam Tape!! I wanted a Coordinating Envelope, so I used a Simon Says Stamp Metallic School House Red Envenlope!! I Stamped and Embossed the Image onto my Envelope and then I used the Lawn Fawn Valetine Borders Dies to Die Cut the Envelope Flap!! I also Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment "Special Delivery"!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!
