A BIG Cup of THANKS Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing this A BIG Cup of Thanks Shaker Card using several of my FAVORITE NND Products!! 

I LOVE to create Shaker Cards, and there are SO MANY ways you can use your Stencils for EASY Backgrounds!!

I Started with the Falling Leaves Stencil and Inked with White Pigment Ink onto some Kraft Cardstock!! Then I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!! Once dry completely, I added an Acetate Layer and then Stitched it with my Sewing Machine!! I Stitched 3 Sides and then added my Shaker Elements!! Then Stitched the top of the Shaker to close it securely!!

Next I Stamped and Embossed the Newton's Mug Image from the Newton's Mug Stamp Set onto some Distress Watercolor Cardstock using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I watercolored the Image using some Watercolors!! I haven't watercolored in a Minute and I forgot how much I LOVE it!! I Die Cut the Image out using the coordinating Newton's Mug Die Set and then I added some White Gel Pen Highlights!! 

I Die Cut some Patterned Paper using the Frames & Flags Die Set Scalloped Rectangle and then adhered the Panel to a White A2 Cardbase!! 

I LOVE the way this Card turned out as it represents EVERYTHING I LOVE about Fall!! I hope it INSPIRES you to create an EASY Stenciled Background for you next FALL themed Shaker Card!! SWOON!!

Hello Fall w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing this Hello, Fall Shaker Card using several Products!! 

|I LOVE to create Shaker Cards, and there are SO MANY ways you can use your Stencils for EASY Cards!!

I Started with the Falling Leaves Stencil and Inked with White Pigment Ink onto some Kraft Cardstock!! Then I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!! Once dry completely, I added an Acetate Layer and then Stitched it with my Sewing Machine!! I Stitched 3 Sides and then added my Shaker Elements!! Next I Stamped and Embossed the Hello, Fall Sentiment from the Heartfelt Fall Stamp Set with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder onto a Stitched Circle from the Circle Frames Die Set and then Colored the Sentiment using an E84 Copic Marker!! Then I Layered the Sentiment with some other Circle Die Cuts from both Black and Kraft Cardstock!!

Then I Die Cut some Leaves from the Fall Friends Die Set!! First from some Therm O Web Toner Sheets that I Foiled with some Champagne Deco Foil!! These match the Leaves that are in the Shaker Mix!! 

Then I also Die Cut some Leaves form some Kraft Cardstock and some Yellow Vellum that also matched the Sequins in the Shaker Mix!! I Adhered the Leaves around the Sentiment Circle and LOVE how they add that finishing touch!! 

I Die Cut some Doodlebug Patterned Paper using the Frames & Flags Die Set Scalloped Rectangle and then adhered the Panel to a White A2 Cardbase!! 

I LOVE the way this Card turned out as it represents EVERYTHING I LOVE about Fall!! SWOON!!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps July Release ~ Falling Leaves Stencil!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

I'm here for Day 4 of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps July Release!! Today I'm showcasing the NEW Falling Leaves Stencil!! SWOON!! I'm a LOVER of FALL, it's my FAVORITE Season!! So every year I look forward to designing with ALL of the Fall Products!! This is NEW Stencil has SO MANY possibilities!! 

Here's a Look at the NEW Falling Leaves Stencil!! 

Here's the Project I've made for today!! 

I LOVE the Colors of Fall, they make me SO HAPPY!! I Started with a Piece of Text Patterned Paper!! Then I Sprayed the back side of the Stencil with Therm O Web Pixie Spray!! I Placed it over my Card Panel and Inked the Stencil Design using Wilted Violet, Fossilized Amber, Rusty Hinge and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks using my Blending Brushes!! Then I removed the Stencil and Inked over the Leaves LIGHTLY using the same Colors that I used for the leaves in that area!! 

I added some Water Splatters and let that Dry!! Then I added some Tim Holtz Gold Distress Paint and Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters for some texture!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment "Thinking of you makes my heart" from the Smile Duo Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! 

I LOVE how it turned out and how FUN it is to mix and match Stamped, Die Cut and Stenciled Elements to create and SPECIAL Card to send this Fall!!

Cupcake Challenge 481 Fall Theme w/Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO!! 

I'm here to share the NEW Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #481 Fall Theme with Newton's Nook Designs as the Sponsor!!  Newton's Nook Designs is generously providing $25 gift code to our randomly chosen winner.

Here's the FUN Foiled background I created using the Deco Foil Transfer Gel and several different Deco Foils with the NND Falling Leaves Stencil!! I wanted to create more realistic Leaves so I decided to Cut up little pieces of the Foil and create a Pieced Foil look to my Background!!

 After running it through my Mink Machine this is how it looked!! BEAUTIFUL on it own, but I wanted some more texture and for it to look more like real leaves!!

 So I took some Fine Sand Paper and Sanded over top of the Leaves in tiny Circular motions!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it looks and will DEFINITELY be recreating this technique on other foiled Projects!!

For the Sentiment, I Stamped and Embossed the "Many Thanks" form the NND Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set onto a Flag Die Cut from the NND Frames & Flags Die Set and Embossed it with some Princess Gold Embossing Powder!! I Inked the Flag to match the colors in the background and then added some Die Cut Leaves using the Autumn Leaves Die Set and used the same Inks to Ink them!! I added them to the Card Panel using some 3D Foam Squares and then adhered the Sentiment Flag using some Gina K Designs Terrific Tape!! A Burlap Double Twine Bow and some Sequins and Gems were added using some Zots Bling Adhesive Dots!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!

STAMP-tember Exclusive Newton's Nook Designs/Simon Says Stamp Collaboration ~ Hello Beautiful Stamp Set!!

         I'm here with Newton's Nook Designs for the 

Simon Says Stamp STAMP-tember Collaboration Stamp Set!!   

               Hello Beautiful STAMP-tember Release 2018!!

               Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

I've created 2 Projects to share with you today!! 

My first project for today is a FUN interactive Card that I created using the NEW Set!! I paired it with several of my FAVORITE NND Products and the AWESOME NEW Lawn Fawn Square Reveal Wheel Die!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Image 2 times!! I wanted to layer the Cat Image over the Sighn for a 3-d Look so I Fussy Cut the Image to layer over top!! 

I used Copic Markers to Color the Calico Cat!! 

(E30, E33, E35, E44, W0 and R00 for the Cat and N2 and N) for the Sign)

I created my Background by using the NND Paw Prints Stencil!! I used Antique Linen, Scattered Straw and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks!! Using Therm O Web Purple Tape to hold my stencil in place and to mask off my Ground!! Then I added some Water Droplets for some Texture!! I used the NEW Lawn Fawn Square Reveal Wheel Die as my base!! I created my own opening into the center of the Sign using a Larger Die that I only cut partially to make it fit the Sign!! I Lined it up on my Reveal Wheel Base and repeated the Partial Die Cutting to get the opening to reveal my Stamped and Embossed Sentiments!! I Stamped and Embossed them onto the Wheel using the Negative of the window as my guide for where I needed to stamp!! Then I used the NND Frames and Flags Die Set to Die Cut the Lawn Fawn Plaid Patterned Paper and some Cardstock for the scalloped Frame!! I backed it onto a Kraft A2 Cardbase!! Then added a Few Therm O Web Turquoise Deco Foiled Hearts that I Die Cut using the Heart Die and added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops on them to make them Dimensional!! I just LOVE the way it turned out, and hope you do too!!??

My Second Card uses the SWEET Puppy Image!! I Stamped and Embossed the Image and used Copic Markers to Color the Image!! (E11, E13, E15 and R00  for the Doc Hound, E42, E44, E47 and R00 for the Chocolate Lab) 

I created the Background using the NND Falling Leaves Stencil!! 

I used Distress Inks in Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, Gathered Twigs, Rusty Hinge, Peelped Paint, Forest Moss, Abandoned Coral, Barn Door and Aged Mahogany!! 

Then Die Cut the Leaves!! I wanted it to look like a BEAUTIFUL FALL Day!!
