FUN Birthday Shaker Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Design Blog today sharing this FUN Birthday Shaker Card using NEW Products that I just ADORE!! Let's get Started!! 

I Started by Creating my Shaker Element using the Stitched Rounded Rectangle Die from the Basic Frames Die Set!! I Die Cut the Base from White Cardstock and the Top Layer from some Iridescent Vellum!! I Stitched around 3 Sides using my Sewing Machine and then I added the Trinity Stamps Embellishments!! I used the Teal Shaker Pop Mix, Bokeh Star Flat Confetti Mix and the Peony Pink Confetti Mix!! Then I Stitched the final Side and the Shaker Element is ready to add to the Card Panel!! 

Next I Stamped and Embossed the Sweet Image from the NEW Birthday Postage Sampler Stamp Set!! I used Copic Markers to Color the Image and then Die Cut it out using the coordinating NEW Birthday Postage Sampler Die Set!! I Created the Postage Stamp Base by Die Cutting the Postage Stamp Layout Die!! 

For the Card Panel I Started by Die Cutting the NEW Card Layout 3 Die from some White Cardstock and then again from Several of the Pattern Papers from the NEW Birthday Time Paper Pad!! I adhered them all together to create my Background Frame and I LOVE how it turned out!!

This Card design can be created in MANY different Color Combos using ANY Pattern Paper Collection or Theme, just change out the Sentiment for the Card Design you'd like to create!! It just makes me SMILE and I'm certain the recipient is going to LOVE it just as much!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs July 2025 ~ Newton's Nook Designs 12 Year Celebration!! Today I'm sharing a couple Projects that I've made using the NEW Dog Birthday Party Stamp Set and coordinating NEW Dog Birthday Party Die Set!!  

Here's a Close up look at ALL of the NEW Products being showcased for Today!!

SQUEAL!! I LOVE how PERFECT these NEW Products are for ALL of those Birthday Card needs!! This NEW Set can be used for so MANY Occasions though!! I can't wait to see what you create with it!!

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Images from the NEW Dog Birthday Party Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I Colored the Images using Copic Markers!! 
Grey: N0, N3 & N5    Pink: RV00, RV52 & RV55   
Orange: YR20, YR24 & YR27    Turquoise: BG00, BG13 & BG45
I used the coordinating NEW Dog Birthday Party Die Set to Die Cut the Image out!! Then I added some White & Black Gel Pen Highlights and Details!!

Next I Die Cut the Tags using the Fancy Edges Tags Die Set from both White Cardstock and the NEW Birthday Party Paper Pad!! I Masked off the Ground and Inked with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink then I Inked the Background with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Confetti Images using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and WoW Neutral Shimmer Embossing Glitter!! SWOON!! In real life the Iridescent Sparkle is so BEAUTIFUL!! 

I then Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the NEW Dog Birthday Party Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I then adhered the Images to the Tag using Foam Tape for some Dimension!!

To finish the Tag off I created a Pink Tassel from some Embroidery Thread and tied it the Tag!! I LOVE the way it turned out and its gong to bring a SMILE to the recipients face when it adorns their Gift Package!! It would be FUN to create a Set of these Tags to give as the actual Gift too!! Hope this Tag INSPIRES You!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs July 2025 ~ Newton's Nook Designs 12 Year Celebration!! Today I'm sharing a couple Projects that I've made using the NEW Cat Birthday Party Stamp Set and coordinating NEW Cat Birthday Party Die Set!!

SQUEAL!! I LOVE how PERFECT these NEW Products are for ALL of those Birthday Card needs!! This NEW Set can be used for so MANY Occasions though!! I can't wait to see what you create with it!! 

I'm sharing a Shaker Card today using the NEW Card Layout 3 Die that was showcased yesterday HERE!! I Die Cut several Layers from White Cardstock and adhered them together to create the Shaker Card Frame!! Then I Die Cut several Pieces of Pattern Paper from the NEW Birthday Time Paper Pad!! SWOON!! These Papers and the Colors are so BEAUTIFUL!! I think its my NEW FAVORTE!! 

I wanted to create different Layers and I only wanted portions of this Card to be a Shaker for even more interest and I LOVE how it turned out!!

I adhered some of the Paper portions inside of the Shaker Frame I created and then I added my Trinity Stamps Shaker Embellishments!! 

I then adhered the Acetate Window on top of the Frame!! Then I adhered the Pattern Paper Frame on top of the Acetate lining it up with the Base Shaker Frame!! I then adhered the other Pattern Paper Pieces onto the Acetate and that creates a FUN Layered look!! I hope this INSPIRES you to give this Technique a try!!

I Stamped and Embossed the SWEET Image from the NEW Cat Birthday Party Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and then I used Copic Markers to Color the Image!! 
Brown: E40, E43 & E47    Pink: RV00, RV52 & RV55   Orange: YR20, YR24 & YR27
I used the coordinating NEW Cat Birthday Party Die Set to Die Cut the Image out!! Then I added some White & Black Gel Pen Highlights and Details!! I then Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the NEW  and Die Cut it using the Circle Frames Die Set!! I then adhered both the Sentiment and the Image to the Shaker Card Panel using Foam Tape for some Dimension!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs July 2025 ~ Newton's Nook Designs 12 Year Celebration!! Today I'm sharing a couple Projects that I've made using the NEW Card Layout 3 Die, NEW Card Layout 4 Die, NEW Happy Birthday Die and the NEW Birthday Time Paper Pad!!

SQUEAL!! I LOVE how PERFECT these NEW Products are for ALL of those Birthday Card needs!! The NEW Card Layout Dies can be used for so MANY Occasions though!!
I CAN'T WAIT to share what I've made for today!! Let's get Started!!

I Started by Die Cutting several of the NEW Card Layout 4 Frames from some White Cardstock and adhered them all together to create my Shaker Frame!! 

Next I Die Cut some of the Pattern Paper from the NEW Birthday Time Paper Pad and I adhered it to the inside of the Frame and then added the Trinity Stamps Embellishments!! I wanted to create Layers to this Shaker Card and I LOVE how it turned out!! 

I adhered the Acetate Window over the Shaker Frame and then adhered the Top Frame over top!! Then I adhered the Pattern Paper on top of the Acetate Frame!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto the Oval Frames Die Cut from some White Cardstock!! I Layered it onto another Oval Frames Die Cut and I adhered it to the Top of the Card using some Foam Tape for Dimension!! 

This Card turned out so FUN and this Design can be used for ANY Occasion just by changing out the Sentiment!! I hope it NSPIRES You!! 

For my Second Card, I Started by Die Cutting several of the NEW Card Layout 3 Frames from some White Cardstock and adhered them all together to create my Shaker Frame!!

Next I Die Cut some of the Pattern Paper from the NEW Birthday Time Paper Pad and I adhered it to the inside of the Frame and then added the Trinity Stamps Embellishments!! SQUEAL!! ALL of these FUN Shaker Embellishments make me HAPPY!! You can customize this for ANY Occasion and Color Scheme!! 

I adhered the Acetate Window over the Shaker Frame and then adhered the Top Frame over top!! Then I adhered the Pattern Paper Frame on top of the Acetate Frame and the Shaker Card Panel s finished!! 

Next I Die Cut the NEW Happy Birthday Die Cut and adhered it to the Card Panel using Foam Tape for Dimension!! 

I wanted to add some CUTE Party Hats to the Sentiment so I Stamped and Embossed the Images from the NEW Cat Birthday Party Stamp Set and then Colored them with Copic Markers!! I then used the coordinating NEW Cat Birthday Party Die Set to Die Cut the Images out!! 

I LOVE how FUN this Card is and I could be created for ANY Occasion just by changing the Sentiment!! I hope you feel INSPIRED by my creations today and I look forward to seeing what you create!!

Newton's Nook Designs Spring Release ~Spring Heights Stamp Set!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs December Release 2024!! Today I'm sharing a Project that I've made using the NEW Spring Heights Stamp Set + coordinating NEW Spring Heights Die Set!!

How CUTE are these Images!!?? SQUEAL!! There are so many ways you can use them, make sure to check out the other Design Team Blogs to get even more Inspiration!! 

If you follow me then you'll KNOW that I LOVE to create Shaker Cards!! The A2 Card Layout 2 Die Set has SO MANY Possibilities when it come to Design options including for Shaker Cards!! I Started by Die Cutting several of the Layout Frames from White Cardstock and adhering them all together to create my Shaker Frame Window!! Then I used one of the Patterned Papers from the Black & White Basic Paper Pad for the Card Panel Base!! 

Next I Stamped and Embossed the images from the NEW Spring Heights Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! SWOON!! I just LOVE the Image from this Set, they make me HAPPY!! Then I Colored them with Copic Markers!! 
Red: R00, R4 & R39     Turquoise: BG10, BG45 & BG49
Yellow: Y11 & YR23     Green: YG40 & YG45
Grey: N0, N3, N5 & N8   Pink: RV00
Then I used the coordinating NEW Spring Heights Die Set to Die Cut the Images out!! I Adhered the Images to the Acetate Window and then adhered a few more Birds from the Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto one of the Panels and then adhered it in place and added the Bird!! I finished off the Images with some White & Black Gel Pen Highlight and they really help to make the Images come to LIFE!! 

I used SEVERAL Embellishments from Trinity Stamps including the White Shaker Pop Mix, Forrest Shaker Pop Mix, Honey Shaker Pop Mix, Red Shaker Pop Mix, Teal Shaker Pop Mix and the Bokeh Heart Flat Confetti Mix!! SQUEAL!! They add so much to the Feel and Sound of this Shaker Card!! The thought of all of the ENJOYMENT it will bring to someone makes my HEART HAPPY!! I hope I've INSPIRED you today!!
