I’m so excited to be joining WOW! Embossing Powder to celebrate the release of their brand-new designer collection: Earthly Marvels, created by the incredibly talented Brennan Keane!

This 6-piece embossing powder release is inspired by the beauty of the natural world — from starry skies and ocean blues to floral tones and frost-kissed sparkle. Whether you’re a mixed media maker, a cardmaking colourist, or just love to add texture and shine, the Earthly Marvels collection has something to spark your imagination.

Today, I’m sharing a project using [insert product(s) used here] from the collection — I hope it inspires you to get creative with these magical new powders!

To celebrate this release, the WOW! Design Team and a group of incredibly talented Guest Designers have come together to showcase the versatility and beauty of Earthly Marvels. We’re sharing ideas, techniques, and inspiration across blogs, YouTube, and Instagram — and we’d love for you to join us on the journey!! I Started by Embossing the Taylored Expressions Fluttering Flora Image onto some White Cardstock!! Then I used the coordinating Fluttering Flora Stencil Set using both Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and then I Embossed the Image with some of the NEW Mare Embossing Powder!! SWOON!! It's so BEAUTIFUL in Real Life!!

Here's a Close-up Look!! I just LOVE the White Flecks in this Powder as is adds a really AWESOME Highlight affect!!

Next I used the Second Stencil Layer and Inked with some Milled Lavender and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks and then added the NEW Dried Lavender Embossing Powder!!

Here's a Close-Up Look!! I LOVE these Colors together!!

For the Third Stencil Layer I'm using Villainous Potion and Wilted Violet then I Embossed with the WoW Speckled Sage Embossing Powder!! I LOVE the Depth that this adds to the Darker areas of the Images!! Don't be afraid to try different Color combos, sometimes the results are just what you need!!

I Fussy Cut the Embossed Butterfly Image out and then adhered it to the center of an Embossed Card Panel!! I added some Trinity Stamps Rhinestones for an extra Touch of Sparkle and Dimension to finish off the Butterfly!!

I Die Cut the Taylored Expressions Modern Sentiment Label from some White Cardstock and Inked with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and then Embossed with the NEW Mare Embossing Powder!!

Next, I Cut a coordinating Foil-it Modern Labels Sentiment and adhered it to the center of the Embossed Label and adhered it to the Card Panel!!

SWOON!! I just LOVE all of the Texture, Dimension and Sparkle of this Card Design!! I hope it INSPIRES you to give it a Try with some of your FAVORITE Embossing and Stencil Layer Sets to help bring the Image to LIFE!!
It's so FUN to try different Color Combos too and Mix and Match those Embossing Powders to take advantage of the Different Finished!! I PROMISE the finished results will leave both you and recipient in AWWWWW!!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release 2024 ~ Holiday Postage Sampler & Postage Stamp Layout Die Set!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release 2024!! Today I'm sharing a Project that I've made using the NEW Holiday Postage Sampler Stamp Set and the coordinating NEW Holiday Postage Sampler Die Set along with the NEW Postage Stamp Layout Die Set!! 

Here's a Close up look at ALL of the NEW Products being showcased Today!!

I'm so in LOVE with these NEW Products!! There are SO MANY ways they can be used to create with and I'll be sharing several different ideas over the next several days!! Let's get started!!

I Started by Stamping and Embossing all of the Images onto White Cardstock using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! 

Then I Colored the Images using Copic Markers!! 
Red: R00, R14 & R39    White: N0   Green: YG00, YG17 & G29
Yellow: Y00 & YR23    Blue: B23, B32 & B18    Dark Brown: E40, E43 & E47
Light Brown: E30, E33 & E37     Turquoise: BG10, BG45 & BG49
Black: N3, N5 & N8
Then I used the NEW coordinating Holiday Postage Sampler Dies to Die Cut the Images out!! I added some White Gel Pen Highlights and LOVE how Bright and Happy these Images are!! 

I Die Cut the Framework Frame from some White Cardstock and Inked with some Distress Oxide Prize Ribbon Ink and then added some Distress Oxide Black Soot Ink to the edges of the Frame for some Dark edges and I LOVE the feel of this!! Next I Die Cut the NEW Postage Stamp Layout Die from some White Cardstock and I Cut off 2 of the Stamps using my Paper Trimmer!! Next I Inked the Postage Stamp Die Cut with some Distress Oxide Hickory Smoke Ink for some Shading!! This step isn't necessary, but I feel like it adds so much to the Design!! I Inked the inside of the Postage Stamps with the same Prize Ribbon and Black Soot Ink and then I Stamped and Embossed the Details with WoW Clear Embossing Ink and WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! I LOVE how those details POP off of the Inked backgrounds!! Then I added the Die Cut Images and I LOVE how this turned out!! 

For the Inside of the Card I added the NEW Merry Christmas Die Set Sentiment!! 

I Die Cut the Words from White Cardstock then Die Cut the Shadow from some White Cardstock that I Inked with the same Prize Ribbon and Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and Layered them together and adhered them to the inside of the Card!! 

I LOVE how Festive and Fun this Card turned out and I'll definitely be Mass Producing this Design for the Holidays using different Images for the different Stamps just to make them all alittle different!! I'm one of those Crafters that has to change things up from Card to Card when I'm Mass Producing just to keep it FUN for myself!! I hope this INSPIRES you on a way you can Mass Produce some of your Holiday Cards too!!??

Newton's Nook Designs September Release ~ Release Day!!

Welcome to RELEASE DAY of the Newton's Nook Designs September Release!! Today I'm sharing a Project I made using the NEW Halloween Apothecary Stamp Set and the coordinating Labels Hot Foil Plate that we showcased on Day 1 HERE!! 

I Started by Inking a Card Panel using Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink and then I Inked a Moon Image using Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink and added some Water Splatters for some Texture!!

Then I used the Flying Bats Stencil and applied a Thin Layer of Therm O Web Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo!! I removed the stencil and set the Card Panel aside to dry completely!! Once Dry, I Foiled with some Deco Foil!!
SWOON!! I LOVE the look!! 

Next I Hot Foiled the NEW Labels Hot Foil Plate with some Deco Foil Hot Foil in Gold Stardust!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the image from the NEW Halloween Apothecary Stamp Set!! I adhered it onto the Card Panel using Foam Tape!! Then I added some Clay Bat Sprinkles!!  

Then I adhered the Foiled Panel onto a Framework Die Cut Frame from some Black Cardstock!! Then I adhered the Frame onto a White Cardbase using some Foam Tape for Dimension!! 

So there you have it, a FUN Foiled Card that can be used for several different occasions using the AMAZNG NEW Products!! I hope I've INSPIRED you today and I can't wait to see what you create!!

Newton's Nook Designs September Release ~ Candy Corn Newton!!

Welcome to Day 3 of the Newton's Nook Designs September Release!! Today we are Showcasing the NEW Candy Corn Newton Stamp Set + coordinating Candy Corn Newton Die Set!! 

Here's a Look at the NEW Products!! 

SQUEAL!! I just LOVE this SWEET Image and ALL of the different ways you can create with it!! I'm paring it with one of my other FAVORITE Images!!

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the NEW Candy Corn Newton & Halloween Pile Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossing with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! 

Then I used Copic Makers to Color the Image in!! 
White: N0, N3      Black: N3, N5 & N8     Cheeks: R00     Kitten: E40, E43 & E47     Orange: YR00, YR18 & YR68
Purple: V00, V15 & V09   Green: YG00, YG13 & YG25
Then I Die Cut the Image out using the NEW Candy Corn Newton & Halloween Pile Die Sets!! I added some White Gel Pen and Black Gel Pen for the Noses and Eyes!!

I Inked a Background Panel with some Distress Oxide Inks and then added some Distress Paint Splatter!! I finished off the Design with some Trinity Stamps Fairy Rocks Rhinestones!! Then adhered to a Frames and Flags Scalloped Rectangle Frame!!
