Newton’s Nook Designs Feature: Day 3 ~ Easter Egg Builder Die Set!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

Welcome to Release Feature Week for the Newton's Nook Designs ~ February Release!! Today I'm sharing a SWEET Thank You Card that I've made using the NEW Easter Egg Builder Die Set!!

SQUEAL!! How FUN is this NEW Easter Egg Builder Die Set for today!! NND has so many Products that will coordinate with these NEW Dies so you can use them alone or you can combine them to create some FUN Scenes!! If you know me then you know I LOVE to create Scene Cards and today I’m sharing these SWEET Easter Scene Tags but you could create a similar Scene for a Card Design as well!! 

I Started by Die Cutting some Tags from some White Cardstock using the NEW Essential Tags Die Set!! Then I also Die Cut some Tags from the NEW Happy Easter Paper Pack!! I masked off the Grass with some Masking Tape and inked the Sky with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I marked off the Sky and Inked the Grass with some Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Easter Sentiment onto the Tag using some Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Neutral Ultra Shimmer Embossing Glitter!! 

Next I Die Cut some White, Turquoise and Purple Cardstock using the NEW Easter Egg Builder Die!! I Inked the Circles with some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink for some shading and then I inked the Eggs with some Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Ink for some Shading!! Lastly I added some Iridescent Glitter to the White Polka Dots on the Eggs for some added Sparkle and Shine!! Then I used the NEW Bunny Silhouettes Die Set to Die Cut some Brown Cardstock and I inked with some Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink for some dimension to the Chocolate Bunnies!! I wanted some FuzzyTails so I Die Cut some Colored Felt from Poshta Designs and I LOVE the way they look!! I then Die Cut the Carrot from some Orange and Green Cardstock and inked with Ripe Persimmon and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Inks for some shading!! Then I adhered the Images to the Tag using Foam Tape for some Dimension!! 

I added a Black and White Gingham Bow to each Gift Tag and I just ADORE them!! I plan on making more of these Tags and I’ll be using them for Teacher Gifts!! I’m making some SWEET Earring to give as Gifts for ALL that they do!! 

I think this same design would be SO PERFECT for a Card too and I hope it INSPIRES you to look at some of your other NND Dies to see what else you could use to create some FUN Spring Scenes!!
