A BIG Cup of THANKS Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing this A BIG Cup of Thanks Shaker Card using several of my FAVORITE NND Products!! 

I LOVE to create Shaker Cards, and there are SO MANY ways you can use your Stencils for EASY Backgrounds!!

I Started with the Falling Leaves Stencil and Inked with White Pigment Ink onto some Kraft Cardstock!! Then I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!! Once dry completely, I added an Acetate Layer and then Stitched it with my Sewing Machine!! I Stitched 3 Sides and then added my Shaker Elements!! Then Stitched the top of the Shaker to close it securely!!

Next I Stamped and Embossed the Newton's Mug Image from the Newton's Mug Stamp Set onto some Distress Watercolor Cardstock using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I watercolored the Image using some Watercolors!! I haven't watercolored in a Minute and I forgot how much I LOVE it!! I Die Cut the Image out using the coordinating Newton's Mug Die Set and then I added some White Gel Pen Highlights!! 

I Die Cut some Patterned Paper using the Frames & Flags Die Set Scalloped Rectangle and then adhered the Panel to a White A2 Cardbase!! 

I LOVE the way this Card turned out as it represents EVERYTHING I LOVE about Fall!! I hope it INSPIRES you to create an EASY Stenciled Background for you next FALL themed Shaker Card!! SWOON!!

Hug in a Mug w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

Larissa here today sharing this SWEET Card over on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog!! Newton is getting ready for a cozy holiday Celebration!!

To create this Festive card I started by stamping the images of the big kitty in the mug from the Newton's Mug Stamp Set and two smaller holiday mugs from the Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set, using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I then colored all three images in with Copic Markers!! 

Green: YG00, YG17 & YG25       Red: R00, R14 & R37        White: N0 & N3      Kitten: E40, E42, E43 & E47

Cheeks/Inside of Ears: R11a
Turquoise: BG00, BG45 & BG49 

Then I Die Cut the Image out using the coordinating Newton's Mug Die Set and Cup of Cocoa Die Set!!

Then I added White Gel Pen details to each image, and some Glossy Accents to the Snowman Nose, Candy Sprinkles and Candy Canes for some Dimension and Shine!! 

The two tiny Candy Canes and Holly Burst are from the A Kitten Christmas Stamp Set (cut out using the coordinating A Kitten Christmas Die Set) to add to the festive feeling!!

I Die Cut a Circle from some White Cardstock using the Circle Frames Die Set and a Scalloped Circle from the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad!! I Inked the Circle with some Salvage Patina and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink!!

For the FUN Background, I created my own Black and White Pattern by repeatedly stamping the mug images from the Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set in Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and embossing with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then added the Scalloped Circle onto my Card Background using Foam Tape for some Dimension!! Then I adding Black Soot Distress Paint splatters for some Texture!!  Some Nuvo Drops in Red and Green, along with some Snowflake Sequins and TS Fairy Rocks Rhinestone embellishments finish out this amazing card!!
