Sparkle and Shine Challenge/Freshly Made Sketches ~ Shaker Card using Paper Smooches!! =)

Hello!!
I'm stopping in to share the Card that I've made for the Sparkle and Shine #12 Challenge along with the Freshly Made Sketches #200 Challenge!! I've used the Paper Smooches Best Buds Stamp Set, along with the Paper Smooches Smarty Pants Stamp Set and the Paper Smooches Borders 2 Die Set!! I thought it would be FUN to create a Shaker Card using the Best Buds Large Flower Jar Image as my Shaker Element Base!! I Stamped and Embossed the Image onto the Distress Water Color Paper and then cut around the Inside of the Jar!! I used my Black Soot Distress Marker to color around the Edge!! I then Stamped and Embossed the Image 2 more Times!! You could skip this Step except I wanted the Dimension for my Design!! I then Fussy Cut around the Images and I wanted to get rid of all of the Extra Background I could!! I use my Distress Inks to Water Color the Images and then went around all of the Edges with a Black Soot Distress Marker to finish everything off!! I just LOVE the Colors!! I added some Acetate to the Backside of the Card Front Panel and then added my Foam Tape to create a Place to house my Sequins, Mini Confetti and Beads!! I just LOVE all those Little Bits of Sparkle and Shine!! I added a Jar Image to back the Shaker that I Water Colored using Black Soot Distress Ink!! I adhered the other two Jar Images on top of each other to create a FUN Layered Design but without too much bulk as I just layered them together using some really thin Foam!! I thought it would be FUN to create a Neat Paper Layered Border at the Top of my Card and after I Die Cut 3 of the Notebook Edges I Stitched them together with my Sewing Machine!! I Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment onto some Notebook Patterned Paper and added a Few Black Gems for my Flower Centers and my Card was done!!

Paper Sweeties April Release Rewind ~ Spring Purple Tree!! =)

Sorry for the Late Posts today!! My Baby Greyson has been SUPER Sick for 2 weeks!! After another Hospital Visit we found out he had Swallowed a Lego!! I'm FEELING SO BLESSED that this didn't turn into something more sever and APPRECIATE ALL of your COMMENTS and PRAYERS!! Have a Fabulous Weekend!!  =)

Welcome back to the Paper Sweeties April Release Rewind!!
I decided to play along with a Sparkle & Shine Challenge Four with this Card for today!! I decided to create a REALLY BEAUTIFUL Purple Tree!! From the time I can remember these Purple Trees have been one of my most FAVORITE Things about Spring!! =) I LOVE driving around the Country and seeing them in ALL of their Glory once they star to Bloom!! If you've NEVER seen these trees here is a Picture I found on the Internet to share with you!! Now Picture these scattered EVERYWHERE and you can probably TOTALLY understand why I LOVE these SO MUCH!! =)

I Die Cut a Circle for the Main Body of my Tree then I added Distress Ink in Seedless Preserves and then Splattered it with Water and some Iridescent Spray!! I Stamped and Die Cut the Leaves and then added some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker onto to make them Sparkle!! =) I Stamped and Die Cut the Flowers and Colored them with the same Distress Ink then used the Flower Sequins to create the Centers!! A Tiny Pearl Seed Bead finishes them off!! I Stamped and Die Cut the Sweet Little Bird and Colored it with Distress Ink and added more Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker!! I Layered it all together and I just LOVE the way it turns out!! =) I Stamped and Die Cut the Tree Trunk and the Grass and then the Sweet Little Tire Swing!! =) I added some Burlap String to make it look like the one I had when I was growing up!! Put it altogether following the Sketch and my card was done!!

Hello!!
I'm stopping in to share the FUN Card I created for a New Challenge Blog ~  Sparkle and Shine Challenge Blog!! They are hosting their very FIRST Challenge and I have been wanting to play along and was LUCKY enough to get a card made today!!
I have FALLEN IN LOVE with the New Simon Says Stamp Make a Splash Stamp Set the and Coordinating Die Set!! SQUEAL!! Isn't she just a CUTIE!!??

Then to find out that she is an actual REAL Girl Abby, the Daughter of Heidi (Owner of SSS)!! Well it just makes her that much MORE CUTE!! =) I wanted to create a scene and have a Grouping with Abby and both of her Friends!! I just LOVE the way it turned out!! =) I'm addicted to Paper Piecing!! Something about it is just Therapeutic and FUN for me!! I was also thinking that they should ALL match kinda like the American Girl Dolls!! So I had a BLAST using my BEAUTIFUL Crate Paper Patterned Papers to create these little CUTIES!! I'm also Playing along with the FUN 30 Day Color Challenge that Kathy Racoosin is hosting over on her Blog thedailymarker.com!! I have ALWAYS wanted to be able to color both Hair and the Skin on these Sweet Doll/Girl Images, but have ALWAYS been SO AFFRAID to mess them up!! I took the OnLine Card Classes Copic Markers for Card Makers Class, but it was during the time of my accident, so I wasn't able to color beings BOTH of my arms were in Casts!! =( So I mostly just watched the Videos and I LEARNED ALOT just by doing that!! I have been WANTING to get some Practicing in with my Copics so that I'm NOT AFFRAID to use them any more and so that I can ENJOY coloring the SWEET little Stamped Images that I have and LOVE so MUCH!! She is my FIRST REAL attempt at Coloring Skin and Hair and I REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE the way she turned out!! I actually ENJOYED it and after I started coloring I wanted to color MORE and MORE and MORE!! =) I ended up stamping her in Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and then I used some Ranger Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder and Embossed her and I found out that I like that LOTS better!! I have NEVER gotten good results with Memento Ink!!Not sure why!!?? So I might have to try the MFT Black Hybrid Ink and see what I think of it with my Copics next time!! Anyway, next I Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment using some Mustard WOW Embossing Powder and then I used some of the Teal Simon Says Stamp Ink to create a shadow for the Sentiment to make it POP!! I like the added interest that it adds!! I added some Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Marker to different areas for EXTRA Sparkle and then I used some Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Aquamarine Sequins and 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins!! Then my card was done!! =)

Paper Smooches Shamrock Sparkle and Shine Challenge Card!! =)

I'm stopping in to share a card I've made for the Sparkle and Shine Challenge!! I'm also linking this up for the Paper Smooches April Guest Designer Challenge!! =)
I used the Paper Smooches Shamrock Die from the Spring Die Set and Large Stitched Tag Die from the Gift Tags 2 Die Set to create a FUN Shaker Tag!! I stamped and Embossed my sentiment using two different Paper Smooches Stamp Sets Many Thanks and Bosom Buddy Stamp Set!! I used some Pretty Pink Posh Sequins 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins, 4mm Fresh Mint Sequins, 6mm Sparkling Clear Sequins and some Sparkling Clear Seed Beads for the inside of my Shaker!! Some Heidi Swapp Black Shine Splatters and some May Arts Ribbon and Twine help to finish off the card!!
