Plush Baby Chick and Easter Egg Pocket w/ Poshta Design!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

I'm back with another FUN Project using some Poshta Designs Products!! This was Inspired by one of the Projects I created during the Release Week!! Remember the Carrot Pocket I shared a couple weeks ago!!?? If not you can find that Post HERE!! I created it in order to tuck the Bunny Inside for a Little Gift Package Presentation, but also for the Bunny to have a Place to LIVE!! If you wanted, you could add a little Ribbon String to create it into a Little Purse for Littles to be able to Carry around making it easier for them (and the Parents 😜to keep track of) Again there are NO WRONG Ideas here and I think it would be REALLY Sweet as a Purse/Bag too!!  This time I've created an Egg Pocket and a Little Baby Chick!! How CUTE are they!!?? I can hardly handle the CUTENESS!! 
For the Baby Chick I've used SEVERAL Dies!! 
I Started with the Body and Die Cut the Scalloped Egg from the NEW Banded Egg Die Set!! Die Cutting (2) from some of the NEW Sunlight Felt!! I LOVE the Soft Yellow Color!! 
Next I Die Cut (4) 2 of each Wing using the Bottom Wings from the NEW Basic Butterfly Dies!! Then I Die Cut (4) 2 of each Side of the Tulip Parts from the NEW Banded Egg Die Set to use as the Chick Hair!! SQUEAL!! This detail REALLY adds to the Chick, but isn't necessary if you ant to leave it out!! I used the Eyes Die Cutting (4) 2 of each Eye from the NEW Hippity Hop Die Set from some Tundra Felt!! Then I stitched with Black Sequins and Beads!! I Die Cut (2) of the Heart Bunny Noses (also from the Hippity Hop Die Set) for the Beak from some of the Squash Felt!! Then I added a Flower from the NEW Gathered Garden Die Set using Lavender Felt for the Flower and Jade Felt for the Leaves!! Then to finish it off I added a Fuzzy Yellow Pom-Pom to the back of the Chick!! I just LOVE how it turned out!! 

I used the NEW Embroidered Egg Details II Die to Stitch the Design onto the Basic Egg Die (previously released)!! I used the NEW Agave Felt as the Base for the Eggs!! Here you can see how I added 2 pieces together, folding down part of the piece and Stitching on the backside of the part that I folded down to get the continued design of the Stitched Detail!! I just ADORE how it turned out and who wouldn't want to receive a Gift inside of this SWEET Egg Pocket!!?? I also finished off the back of the Pocket using the Conversation Hearts Message Dies "LOVE YOU" and I feel like this added touch just finishes off the SWEET Egg Pocket!! I added some Lavender Felt Hearts to the center of the "O" and a Few more Sequins for a touch of Sweetness!!

The Little Baby Chick fits PERFECTLY inside the Egg Pocket for a SNUG Fit as to not Fall Out easily and I'm CERTAIN this will bring some JOY to the Recipient this Easter or even just this Spring for a Birthday or Just Because Gift as well!! One of the things I LOVE MOST about the Spring here on the Farm are the NEW Babies!! Plan a Trip to one of the Farm Stores and take your Littles to SEE the Baby Chicks!! Then instead of leaving with a "REAL" Baby Chick to take home present them with these Plush Baby Chicks to LOVE and take care of!! I'm CERTAIN you'll be the BEST person EVER!!

Felted Carrot Pocket and Banded Egg Shaker Card w/ Poshta Design ~ March Release 2023 Products!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

I'm here today as a Guest Designer for Poshta Design!! SWOON!! If you aren't aware of the AMAZING Stitching Dies and Felt that Lizzie showcases in her Shop, you MUST go and check them out!! I've been a HUGE Fan/Customer since the beginning and am SO EXCITED to share what I've created with ALL of the March Release Products!!

I had SO MUCH FUN Creating with these NEW Products!! I personally LOVE to try and think outside of the box when it comes to Dies that I want to purchase as I feel like I get MORE for my buck if I can use them in different ways for LOTS of different Projects!! So this first Project REALLY puts that idea to the Test, and I hope you LOVE the Ideas I have to share today!! Let's get started!! 

For my First Project I've created a SWEET Carrot Pocket!! PERFECT for filling with a Sweet Treat, a Gift Card, or wait til tomorrow to see what I filled mine with!! SQUEAL!! I CAN'T wait to show you how CUTE it is!! 

I used the NEW Embroidered Egg Details II Die to Stitch the Design onto the Basic Egg Die (previously released)!! I used the Clementine Felt as the Base for the Carrot and then Die Cut the Tops of the Carrots from some the Soft Jade Felt and the Arugula Felt for the Centers for some Shading using some Dies that will be showcased tomorrow in another Set!! 

I added some Sequins and Bead Highlights to the center of the Tops and some Beads to the Center of the Leaf Stitched Design on the Carrot and LOVE how much details it adds, but this step is definatly NOT required!! It would be just as CUTE without it, its totally your preference as to how much detail you want to add!! Here you can see how I added 2 pieces together, folding down part of the piece and Stitching on the backside of the part that I folded down to get the continued design of the Stitched Detail!! I just ADORE how it turned out and who wouldn't want to receive a Gift inside of this SWEET Carrot Pocket!!?? 

I also finished off the back of the Pocket using the Conversation Hearts Message Dies "LOVE YOU" and I feel like this added touch just finishes off the SWEET Carrot Pocket!! I added some Green Felt Hearts to the center of the "O" for a touch of Sweetness!! (That Die is also being showcased tomorrow as part of another Set!!

For my Second Project today I'm showcasing the NEW Banded Egg Details Die and just had to create a Shaker Element for a Card!! If you follow me than you KNOW Shaker Cards are one of my FAVORITES to make and this Sweet Banded Egg Details Die makes it so EASY to create them for a Card!! 

I Die Cut several of the Frame Images from Cardstock in order to create my Shaker Frame!! Then I also Die Cut the op Layers from Patterned Paper to get that Decorated Easter Egg Design!! I Die Cut an Acetate piece as the Window!! I Started by adding the Stitched Tulip Design on the Base of the Egg!! Then I adhered the Frame tacking it in place with some Adhesive!! I added the Shaker Elements (Both from Trinity Stamps and Picket Fence) Then added the Top and Stitched the Design together!! 

I Inked the Card Panel with some Spun Sugar Distress Ink and then adhered the Shaker Element using Double Sided Adhesive!! I added some Trinity Stamps Fairy Rock Rhinestones for some added Sparkle and then Stamped and Embossed the "Happy Easter" Sentiment also from Trinity Stamps!! (available tomorrow) I adhered it to the Shaker Window then added the Card Panel to a Scalloped Frame Die Cut from Patterned Paper using the NND Frames & Flags Die Set and adhered the Card Panel to an A2 White Cardstock Cardbase!! I ADORE how it turned out and fell like these would be PERFECT to send to anyone SPECIAL on your Easter list this Year!!

Newton's Nook Designs February Release 2019 ~ Loads of Blooms, Flower Trio, Bold Blooms & Bokeh!! =)

         I'm here with Day 1 of the 

               Newton's Nook Designs February Release 2019!! 

.       Today we're showcasing the NEW  

 "Loads of Blooms" Stamp Set + coordinating "Loads of Blooms" Die Set, the "Flower Trio" Die Set, the "Bold Blooms" Stencil and the "Bokeh" Stencil Set!!

                  Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

 What do you think!!?? SWOON Worthy RIGHT!!?? I AGREE!! I LOVE the New Bold Blooms Stencil and there are SO MANY ways you can use it!! For my first Card I decided to use Distress Inks (Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, Tumbled Glass, Bundled Sage, Wild Honey, Tattered Rose and Abandoned Coral)

 I LOVE the NEW 1/2 inch Purple Tape by Therm O Web!! It's PERFECT for ALL of my Stenciling needs!! I used it to hold down my Distress Watercolor Paper and then placed the Stencil over the top and used a few small pieces of Purple Tape to hold it in place while I inked up the different Flowers!! Once the Inking was done I used my Nuvo Glitter Pen to color oved all of the Flowers with the Stencil!!

 SWOON!! Just Look at that BEAUTIFUL Shimmer on those Pastel Flowers!!

 Next I used the Deco FOil Transfer Gel and my Palette Knife to add the Transfer Gel over the top of the Stencil and Inked Flowers!! I LOVE the texture of the Transfer Gel, as it goes on so EASY!!

 Here's a close up of the Dimension it adds, and you can see ALL of the BEAUTIFUL Color popping through!! Set aside to Dry!! You'll know its completely dry when its Clear and no longer Milky looking!!

 I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the NEW "Loads of Blooms" Stamp Set onto a NND Frames & Flags Die Cut and then adhered the Dry Stenciled and Deco Foil Transfer Gel Panel onto a Frames & Flags Scalloped Panel that I Die Cut from some Cardstock!! I added some Nuvo Glitter Drops to the Center of the Flowers just to add even more Sparkle and in real life its SUPER Pretty!!

For my next Card I used the Bold Bloom Stencil again for my Background, but this time I used it over Kraft Cardstock and I used some White Pigment Ink to stencil it!! I added some Dark Espresso Distress Ink to the edges of the Frames & Flags Scalloped Panel to make them POP!! I Stamped and Embossed the SWEET Bicycle Image from the NEW "Loads of Blooms" Stamp Set and colored it in using Copic Markers!! I just ADORE the Images in this Set!! So Many occasions they could be used for!! I adhered the Image onto a Circle Die Cut that I inked using Distress Inks to create a Mini Scene!! Some Nuvo Glitter Drops were added to the Center of the Flowers and I stamped and Embossed the sentiment onto the Stenciled Panel!! 

For my last Card today I used the AWESOME New Flower Trio Die Set and Die Cut the Daisy Die from some Taylored Expressions Marshmallow (White) Felt and then used the Leaf Die and Die Cut them from some Taylored Expressions Moss Green Felt!! I wanted FULL Flowers, so I Die Cut 3 Flowers for each Flower!! I like odd # so I also cut 3 Leaves!! I used Yellow Buttons and added some Burlap Twine for the Button Holes!! 

For the Background I Stamped the Happy Blooming Birthday Sentiment from the NEW "Loads of Blooms" Stamp Set and on a Diagonal in MFT Gray Grout Ink!! Then I added some Distress Black Soot Paint and added some Iridescent Jewels for some Sparkle!! I Die Cut a NND Frames & Flags Scalloped Panel and inked the edges with Dark Espresso Distress Ink!! 

I LOVE the way it turned out and I CAN'T WAIT to play with some of the other ideas in my head!!

Today I'm sharing a FUN Christmas Tag Idea for those Christmas Gifts that need some thing to Dress them up!! I LOVE using non-traditional colors and with the help of some BEAUTIFUL WoW Embossing Powders, it was EASY to create these Tags!! 

I used the AWESOME Merry Stamp Set and WoW Glitter Embossing Powders in  to Stamp and Emboss the For You Gift Tag Die Cut from some Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock!! I added another Tag Die Cut from some Lawn Fawn Patterned Patter and then topped it off with some Holly using the Meet Me Under the Mistletoe Die Cut from some Felt and a BEAUTIFUL Teal Jingle Bell!!

Paper Sweeties November 2018 Release Party!! =)

            HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm here for the Release Party of the

Here's a look at the NEW Products: 

Merry

I wanted to create a SWEET Shaker Card!! I thought it would be FUN to use some Plaid Patterned Paper for the Gingerbread Girl and then I added some Snowflakes, Gingerbread and Mini Hearts and Stars for the Shaker Elements!! I Stamped and Embossed the LOVE sentiment using some WoW Red Glitter Embossing Powder!! I also Created a WoW Red Glitter Embossed Bow and Die Cut some Felt Leaves and finished it off with a Mini Jingle Bell!! I Die Cut a Scalloped Rectangle from some Chalkboard Patterned Paper and then adhered it all to a Gina K Designs Silver Metallic A2 Cardbase!! This Card makes me think of my late Mother-In-Law she LOVED Gingerbread Men and she would have ADORED receiving this for the Holidays!!
