Square Happy for You Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing this CHEERFUL "Happy for You" Card!!

I'm using the NEW Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set along with the coordinating Heart Frames Die Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the Image onto some Distress Watercolor White Cardstock using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and then colored  with Copic Markers!!  

 Copic Markers used: Purple: V00, V15 & V09   

Yellow: Y11, Y15 & Y23   Pink: R81, R83 & R85   

Orange: YR00, YR18, YR68   Green: YG61 & YG67  

Turquoise: BG000, BG10 & BG45 

Then I Die Cut the Image out using the coordinating Heart Frames Die Set!! 

    For my Card Panel I Die Cut the Large Square Frames Die from some White Distress Watercolor Cardstock and Inked it with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I Inked the same Heartfelt Blooms Image with TE Sea Salt Ink!! Then I added some Water Splatters and Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto a Banner Trio Die Cut and adhered it onto the Heart Frame using Foam Tape!! Then I adhered the Heart Frame Die Cut with Foam Tape!! 

Then I added some Trinity Stamps Fairy Rocks Rhinestones to finish off the Design!! I LOVE how HAPPY and CHEERFUL this Card Design is and the FUN Square Shape!! I don't make enough of them!!

Paper Sweeties November 2020 Release Party ~ Hay There!!

HELLO!!

I'm here today for the Paper Sweeties November 2020 Release Party!! Today I'm showcasing the NEW Hay There Stamp Set!! Here's a look at the NEW Set!!

Hay There Sweet Cuts

I started by Stamping and Embossing the Barn Image from the Farmhouse Sweet Farmhouse Stamp Set!! I colored it with Copic Markers!! Barn: R32, R35, R37 & R39   Roof: E43, E44, E47 & E49   Trim: N3, N4 & N6   Then I used the coordinating Farmhouse Sweet Farmhouse Die Set and Die Cut the Barn Image out!! I Die Cut another Barn from some White Cardstock and I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment MOO... on the inside of the Barn Doors!! I like the idea of using the Hidden sentiment for some added EXCITEMENT as an Interactive Surprise!! 

 I Inked behind the Barn with some Distress Oxide Ink and then I Cut a piece of Kraft Cardstock for the bottom 1/3 of the Card Panel!! I added some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink Splatters and adhered the Barn Image!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the NEW Hay There Stamp Set!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Cow Image and used Copic Markers to color it in Cow: C01, C03 & C5  Cheeks: R00  Nose: E40 & E42  I added some Whit Gel Pen details after I Die Cut it out using the coordinating Hay There Die Set!! 

I Created my Card Panel from some White Cardstock and then Inked the background with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink!! I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink Splatters for a touch of Texture!! I adhered the Kraft Cardstock panel over the White Cardstock Panel using some Therm O Web Ultra Bond Adhesive and then added some Zig Zag Stitching with my Sewing Machine to three different areas on my Card Panel!! I adhered the Cow Image with some Foam Tape and then I finished off the Design with some Sparkling Clear Sequins and a Red Clay Heart!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!

Saying GOODBYE to Paper Smooches!!

I'm here to share a Couple Cards I've made as Part of the LAST 😭 Paper Smooches Challenge!! I've been a FAN of Paper Smooches from the beginning and feel SO LUCKY to have not only met the SUPER AMAZING and SWEET Kim in person at CREATIVATION, but I was also a part of the Challenge DT for a couple years and LOVED EVERY Minute of it!! 

So today's cards are my THANKS YOU to both Kim and Paper Smooches!! I will MISS EVERYTHING about you and THANKS SO MUCH for not only seeing something in my Designs, but for also being an AMAZING Role Model!! I look forward to seeing what you'll be doing in the Future!! 

 For my First Card I wanted to channel my inner Heather Nichols!! SWOON!! I'm ALWAYS SO INSPIRED by her Kraft Creations, so that's where I started!! I Die Cut the Frame from TE Toffee Cardstock and inked the edges of the frame with some Walnut Distress Oxide Ink!! 

I Die Cut the SWEET Pumpkin from some Patterned Paper and then I Die Cut the Stem from some Wood Patterned Paper, the Leaf from some Therm O Web Emerald Green Deco Foil Flock Sheet and the Hearts from some of the NEW Therm O Web Peach Princess Deco Foil that I laminated onto some Deco Foil Toner Sheets!! It's hard to see in the Photo, but the Iridescent Shine to this Foil just makes it AMAZING in real life!! I added some Picket Fence and Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and then Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and the Curly Tendril by the Pumpkin!!  

I created a Coordinating Envelope using the Gingham Stencil and some Mandarin Orange and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide Inks!! Finished it off with some Picket Fence and Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!! 

My second Card was created exactly the same way, only this time I channeled my LOVE for White Pumpkins!! SWOON!! Not sure what it is, but I LOVE me some White Pumpkins!! I Stenciled the Gingham Pattern using Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink and then Die Cut the Pumpkin!!

I inked the background with some Tumbled Glass and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I Die Cut the Stem from some Wood Patterned Paper, the Leaf from some Therm O Web Emerald Green Deco Foil Flock Sheet and the Hearts from some of the NEW Therm O Web Glass Slipper Deco Foil that I laminated onto some Deco Foil Toner Sheets!! It's hard to see in the Photo, but the Iridescent Shine to this Foil just makes it AMAZING in real life!! I added some Picket Fence and Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and then Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and the Curly Tendril by the Pumpkin!!

I LOVE how these turned out and I hope I've INSPIRED you!! Remember the SIMPLE Designs really POP with those little Details!! Such as the Flocked Leaves and those Deco Foiled Hearts!! Those tiny additions just make me HAPPY!!

Life is Tough for the Cat Lovers Blog Hop!!

Today I'm here to share a Card I've made for the Cat Lovers Blog Hop!!
I also thought I'd create an Encouragement Card since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!! The month is coming to an end, but I still want to bring AWARENESS to do your Monthly Self Examinations and to get those Mammograms scheduled!!

I decided to use the Newton's Support Stamp Set as I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this Set!!
I started with a Prima Lace Doily Die, that I Die Cut from some Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy Cardstock!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Image and Fussy Cut it out!! I Watercolored it using Distress Inks!! Then I Die Cut a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circle and Inked it using Distress Inks!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and then added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and some Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Sequins!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out and I HOPE it'll Brighten the Day of our SWEET Friend who is going through this Difficult Time!!

Newton's Nook Designs June Release 2017 ~ "Newton Rides West"!! =)

SQUEAL!! I'm here with Newton's Nook Designs for the June Release 2017!! Today we're Showcasing the New "Newton Rides West" Stamp Set!!
You're going to LOVE this SWEET Set!!
Let's take a Close Up Look at the ENTIRE Set!!

SQUEAL!! Being a FARM Girl and Living in the Country, this Set just makes me HAPPY!! =)

 I just LOVE LOVE LOVE these Images and the FUN Sentiments!!

So I decided to make a "WANTED" themed Birthday Card!!

I Stamped and Embossed SEVERAL of the Images and Sentiments from the “Newton Rides West” Stamp Set to create my Own Patterned Paper Background!! Lately I have just LOVED the Look of a Black and White Background!! Then I then added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!! I added a MFT Cross Stitched Circle Die Cut from some Reverse Confetti Stone Cardstock!! Then I placed my Stamped and Embossed Image that I Watercolored using Distress Inks in the center of the Circle Die Cut after Die Cutting the Image with the Coordinating "Newton Rides West" Die Set!! I Die Cut some Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock for my Banner using the Garden Window Die Set and then White Heat Embossed my Sentiment using Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder!! For alittle "POP" of Color and to match the Polka Dot Handkerchief on Newton I Die Cut a Punchinella Die from some Reverse Conffetti Salsa Cardstock and backed it with a Piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Paper so it would Match the Stamped and Embossed Background I created!! I added some Tonic Studio Moring Dew Nuvo Drops to the Star on the Cowboy Hat, Newton's Nose, the Stick Pony's Eye and the Ring on the Halter!! I added some White Gel Pen Highlights and then I Stamped and Embossed the Birthday Sentiment on the inside of my Card!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!  =)

SQUEAL!! I'm here with Newton's Nook Designs for the June Release 2017!! Today we're Showcasing the New "Furr-ever Friends" Stamp Set!!
You're going to LOVE this SWEET Sympathy Set!!
Let's take a Close Up Look at the ENTIRE Set!!

Think outside the Box and you'll see just how VERSATILE this Set is!! I LOVE Silhouette Images because there are SO MANY ways you can use them and SO MANY Techniques you can use with them too!! I went for more of a SIMPLE look today!!

I Stamped and Embossed the Images and then Fussy Cut them out!! I used some Gold Embossing Powder for the Halo, the Wings and for parts of the Sentiment!! I used the Heart Paw Print Image and Stamped and Embossed a Background Strip and then Inked it up using Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers then Splattered it with Water for some Texture!! I Die Cut a Stitched Heart Die Cut from the NND Darling Hearts Die Set!! I added some Ink Blending to a Die Cut Stitched Rectangle Panel and then added some Water Splatters along with some Burnished Brass Distress Paint!! I added it to a Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock A2 Card Base and my Card was done!!
