Hello Crafty Friends!!

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today with a BEAUTIFUL Spring Card using the NEW Daisies Die Set!! SWOON!! Daisies are my FAVORITE Flower and I LOVE Die Cutting!! There are so many FUN Ways to use this De Set to create Cards for ANY Occasion and I hope my Card INSPIRE you!! 

I Started by Die Cutting 6 Daisies and 10 Leaves all from White Cardstock!! I used Distress Oxide Inks to add Color to them using some Hickory Smoke for the Daisies and then Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness for the Leaves!! 

I added some Spun Sugar and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks to the Centers of of the Daisies and then I added some WoW Neutral Shimmer Glitter Embossing Powder to the Centers of the Flowers!! I LOVE the Iridescent Sparkle it adds to the Daisies!! Then I adhered some Trinity Stamps Black Eyed Baubles to the center of the Daisies to finish them off!! 

Next I worked on the Card Panel Die Cutting White Cardstock and then I Die Cut some of the Pastel Basics Paper to the top of the Panel!! I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and then Stamped and Embossed the "Rejoice in Spring" Sentiment from the Easter Lily Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I adhered the Daisies and Leaves and finished the design off with some Trinity Stamps Fairy Rock Rhinestones!! The Iridescent Sparkle coordinates with the Iridescent Sparkle from the Daisy Centers!!  

So there you have it, a BEAUTIFUL Spring Card using several of my FAVORITE Newton's Nook Designs Products!! I LOVE how BEAUTIFUL the Daisies turned out!! I hope this has you as EXCITED about those First Spring Daisies as I am!!??

Newton's Nook Designs July Release 2023 ~ Paw Prints Hot Foil Plate, Confetti Hot Foil Plate and Birthday Sentiments Hot Foil Plate!!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs July Release!! Toady we are Showcasing the NEW Paw Prints Hot Foil Plate, Confetti Hot Foil Plate and the Birthday Sentiments Hot Foil Plate!!

Here's a Look at the NEW Products!! 

SQUEAL!! I'm LOVING the NEW Hot Foil Products!! If you follow me then you know that Foiling is one of my FAVORTE Techniques, so these NEW Products make me HEART HAPPY!! 
Here's what I've created for today!! 

For my First Card I've used the NEW Paw Prints Hot Foil Plate along with some Therm O Web Deco Foil Hot Foil in Violet!! SWOON!! This Color in real life is STUNNING!! Even if Purple isn't your Color as it has a Blue Undertone that makes it AMAZING!! 

I Started by Hot Foiling a Piece of Hammer Mill White Cardstock using the Deco Foil Hot Foil in Violet and my Spellbinders Glimmer Machine and I LOVE the results!!

Then I used my Glimmer Hot Foil Machine and Hot Foiled another piece of Hammermill White Cardstock and a Full Glimmer Plate to Hot Foil the Cardstock!! Then I Die Cut the Frames & Flags Scallop Rectangle Die!! I LOVE being able to create the coordinating Frame as it really adds to the BEAUTY of this Card Design!! 

Then I created the Shaker Panel using the Paw Prints Hot Foiled Panel and a Trinity Stamps Flat Acetate Shaker Pouches!! I filled it with several Trinity Stamps Embellishments including the Oh My Stars Holographic Star Confetti, Space Walk Confetti, and Bokeh Stars Flat Confetti!! Then I also added some Pawsome Stamps Candy Christmas Sequin Mix!! Then I adhered the Shaker Panel to the Rectangle Frame and adhered the Hot Foiled "Happy Birthday" Sentiment using some Foam Tape!! I LOVE how it turned out!! 

For my Second Card I've used the NEW Confetti Hot Foil Plate along with some Therm O Web Deco Foil Hot Foil in Rainbow Dreams!! SWOON!! This is one of my FAVORITE of ALL the Foil Colors!! It has this slight Glittery Shimmer to it and once Hot Foiled its STUNNING!! 

I Started by Hot Foiling a Piece of Hammer Mill White Cardstock using the Deco Foil Hot Foil in Rainbow Dreams and my Spellbinders Glimmer Machine and I LOVE the results!!

Then I Die Cut the Frames & Flags Scallop Rectangle Die from some Inked Cardstock that coated with some WoW Neutral Shimmer Embossing Powder!! I LOVE being able to create the coordinating Frame as it really adds to the Glimmer  from the Hot Foil!! SWOON!! 

Then I used the Circle Frames Die Set and Die Cut the Circles and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the NEW Newton's Birthday Delight Stamp Set with some WoW Neutral Shimmer Embossing Powder!! I Finished off the Design by adding some Trinity Stamps Iridescent Pearl Confetti!! SWOON!! I LOVE ALL of the Iridescent Glimmer on this Card, its SURE to makes someone's Birthday SPRAKLE!!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and Catherine Pooler Blog Hop!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm here today as part of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and Catherine Pooler Blog Hop!! 

SQUEAL!! I'm so EXCITED to share what I've created!! 

I've used the CP Minis in Carnivale!! These are such Vibrant and Beautiful Inks!! I decided to use them with my CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Bold Flower Stencil and my TE Blender Brushes and the results are just STUNNING!! 

I've used the Be Mine & Limoncello Inks then I blended the two together to create an Orange Color that I just LOVE!! 

I Started by Inking the Center portion of my Card Panel with some of the CP It's a Boy Ink using my Ink Blender!! I planned ahead that I wanted to Stamp and Emboss the Happy Birthday Sentiment from the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Happy Birthday Stamp Set!! So I made sure to ink enough to cover that area!! Next I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment using the CP Midnight Ink and Inked over it with some Versa Mark Ink and then Embossed with my FAVORITE WoW Neutral Ultra Shimmer Embossing Glitter!! SWOON!! It has an Iridescent Shimmer that coordinates with the Inks PERFECTLY!!  

Next I Spraying the Back Side of my CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Bold Flower Stencil with some Therm O Web Pixie Spray!! Then I adhered it to my Card Panel and Inked using the Be Mine and Limoncello Inks and then Mixed the two together to create the Orange Color!! SQUEAL!! Make me SO HAPPY to know that I can create my own colors just by blending two or more colors together too!! I added a Few Studio Katia Pearls to finish off the Card Design and I really LOVE the way it turned out!!

Paper Smooches Color Story Challenge February 15-28th!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm here with Paper Smooches for the NEW February Challenge!! The theme is "Color Story" perfect for ANY Occasion!! I just LOVE these Colors and I personally wouldn't have used these colors on my own, so I LOVE Color Story challenges for that reason alone!! 

These colors made me thing of the Winter Sunset!! I felt like I needed to create a Warm Hugs Card and I LOVE the way it turned out!! 

I Started by Die Cutting the Fab Frames from some White Cardstock!! Next I Die Cut the Sunny Dies from the Panel and then backed it with some Patterned Paper!! I used Distress Oxide Ink in Wild Honey to add some dimension to the Sun and colored the cheeks with a R11 Copic Marker!! I Die Cut the Sun Ring from some White Cardstock and used Wild Honey Distress Oxide Ink to color it making sure to keep it lighter on one side for some Dimension and adhered it to the inside of the Sun Die Cut!! I Die Cut the Face from Black Cardstock and adhered it to the Sun!! I wanted some Gold Foiled Glasses so I Foiled a piece of Therm O Web Toner Sheets with some Gold Static Brutus Monroe Deco Foil and I LOVE the way they turned out!!

 I wanted to create a FUN background from behind the Sun, resembling a Shimmering Sun Set!! I used the Circle Images from the Winter Greetings Stamp Set using a combination of Distress Oxide Inks in Ripe Persimmon, Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavender!! I applied WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder to create some dimension and shine!! Then I added some Splatters using the same Ink Colors and some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!! I applied some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink around the Sun Die Cut and it really makes the Sun POP!! For the Sentiment I Stamped the "Warm Hugs" Sentiment with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed it with some WoW Neutral Shimmer Embossing Powder!! I LOVE the Iridescent Shimmer as it ties all of the colors together!!
