Rejoice in Spring Card with Newton's Nook Designs!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today with a BEAUTIFUL Spring Card using the NEW Daisies Die Set!! SWOON!! Daisies are my FAVORITE Flower and I LOVE Die Cutting!! There are so many FUN Ways to use this De Set to create Cards for ANY Occasion and I hope my Card INSPIRE you!! 

I Started by Die Cutting 6 Daisies and 10 Leaves all from White Cardstock!! I used Distress Oxide Inks to add Color to them using some Hickory Smoke for the Daisies and then Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness for the Leaves!! 

I added some Spun Sugar and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks to the Centers of of the Daisies and then I added some WoW Neutral Shimmer Glitter Embossing Powder to the Centers of the Flowers!! I LOVE the Iridescent Sparkle it adds to the Daisies!! Then I adhered some Trinity Stamps Black Eyed Baubles to the center of the Daisies to finish them off!! 

Next I worked on the Card Panel Die Cutting White Cardstock and then I Die Cut some of the Pastel Basics Paper to the top of the Panel!! I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and then Stamped and Embossed the "Rejoice in Spring" Sentiment from the Easter Lily Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I adhered the Daisies and Leaves and finished the design off with some Trinity Stamps Fairy Rock Rhinestones!! The Iridescent Sparkle coordinates with the Iridescent Sparkle from the Daisy Centers!!  

So there you have it, a BEAUTIFUL Spring Card using several of my FAVORITE Newton's Nook Designs Products!! I LOVE how BEAUTIFUL the Daisies turned out!! I hope this has you as EXCITED about those First Spring Daisies as I am!!??

Newton's Nook Designs Back to Basics Release March 2024 ~ Frames and Tags Die Set!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs Back to Basics Release, for March 2024!! Today I'm sharing a Project that I've made using the NEW Frames and Tags Die Set as well as the NEW Pastel Basics Pattern Paper Pad!! 

Here's a Close up look at ALL of the NEW Products being showcased for today!!

SWOON!! I just LOVE this NEW Frames and Tags Die Set and all of the Possibilities with different design options!! I've created a BEAUTIFUL Shaker Card today and  LOVE how EASY this was to create simply by die cutting several Frames and adhering them together to create the Shaker Frame!! I Started by Die Cutting some of the NEW Pastel Basics Pattern Paper for the Ric Rack Edge and I LOVE how it FUN it is!! Then I used the NEW Basic Frames Die Set (We'll be Showcasing it tomorrow) to Die Cut a Piece of Cardstock to back my Shaker Panel!! I LOVE hot it fits PERFECTLY into the center of the Stitching on the Ric Rack Frame and then there's a thin frame around the Shaker Panel which creates a BEAUTIFUL Edged Layer!! It's all in the Details!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the Images from the Loads of Blooms Stamp Set and then I used Copic Markers to color them!! I used the coordinating Loads of Blooms Die Set to Die Cut the Images out and added some White Gel Pen Highlights!! I added some Trinity Stamps Bokeh Hearts and Vanilla Cream Clay Hearts as well as several of the Colored and Die Cut Flowers for the top Shaker Window and I LOVE how FUN this Shaker Window is for the overall Design!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment in the Bottom Window and you could always add some Shaker Elements here too if you wanted, I chose to keep it plain for this Card Design today!! I adhered the Loads of Blooms Main Image to the Shaker Window using some Foam Tape and I LOVE how it POPS in that Larger Window, becoming the Main Focal Image of the Card Design!! 

I hope this INSPRES you to create some Shaker Cards of your own using this Die Set and combining it with ALL of your FAVORITE Newton's Nook Designs Images!!
