Sledding in a Two-Toned Foiled Snowflake Wonderland w/ Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO Crafty Friends and HAPPY Friday!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing a gorgeous Winter card!! I just LOVE making my Winter/Holiday Cards Sparkle and Shine and this Card has LOTS of that!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the cute image of the Corgi on the sled from the NND Winter Woofs Stamp Set, I colored the pup with Copic Markers!! I like adding lots of tiny dots to the fur for texture. I Die Cut the Corgi out using the coordinating Winter Woofs Die Set to add him to my Winter Scene. I also Stamped and Embossed the Santa hat and candy cane from our Ornamental Newton Stamp Set, coloring them with Copic Markers too,and adding some Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops and a Sprinkling of Distress Rock Candy Glitter!! I adhered them to the Corgi to help give the Scene a Holiday feel!! I created a  circle and added a little hill of snow using the wave from our Sea Borders Die Set.  A few Stamped and Embossed Snowflakes were added to the Sky and then I inked over them to make them POP with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink!! Tonic Studios Nuvo Glaze Dots along with a Sprinkling of Distress Rock Candy Glitter finish off the Center of the Embossed Snowflakes!! 

For my Cardbase I created a BEAUTIFUL Two-Toned Foiled Design using the Negative Foil that was left over from Foiling the NEW Prim Poinsettia Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheets!! I added it to a Piece of Deco Foil Toner Sheets and ran it through my Laminating Machine!! Then I Foiled over it using some Rebekah Meier Antique Pearl Foil to create the Two Toned Design!! In Real like its just STUNNING and adds tons of Shimmery Sparkle!! Then I added some Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters for the look of Snowflakes and then I adhered some Sequin Snowflakes to the center of some of the Poinsettia Images to make them look more like Snowflakes!! Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops and Distress Rock Candy Glitter finish off the Center of the Snowflakes!!

Newton's Nook Designs & Therm O Web Inspiration Week ~ Day 5!! =)

HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!!

I'm here as part of the AMAZING Inspiration Week where Newton's Nook Designs has teamed up with Therm O Web to share some AWESOME Projects!!

I've create several Projects today and I CAN'T WAIT to share!!

First up I have this SWEET Spring themed Card!!

If you follow me, you know Shaker Cards have my HEART!! So I HAD to create a Shaker Card!!

 

I've used several of the NEW Therm O Web Products and I LOVE the way my Card turned out!!

I started by Foiling the NEW Deco Foil™ Clear Toner Sheets in Polka Dots with the NEW Deco Foil™ Transfer Sheets in Denim and ran it through my Laminating Machine!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the CUTE "Newton's Rainy Day" Stamp Set!! Then used the coordinating "Newton's Rainy Day" Die Set to Die Cut the Image out!! I Colored my Image with Copic Markers and added some Black Gel Pen to the Nose of my Kitty and Eye of the Duck, some White Gel Pen Highlights, some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen for Sparkle and some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops for some Dimension and Shine to the water puddle, the beak and feet of the duck and to the umbrella!! For the Card base, I used a Reverse Confetti Blue Cardstock to create an A2 Sized Card!! I Die Cut the NND Frames and Flags Scalloped Rectangle from some Midnight Reverse Confetti Cardstock and Die Cut a Stitched Rectangle!! I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to Ink the Sky, then used the NND Cloudy Sky Stencil and Inked the Stencil again with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink!! I used a Q-Tip to Ink the right side of each Cloud alittle more for some added dimension to the clouds!! I created the Oval Window for my Shaker using the Gina K. Designs Nested Oval Dies Single Stitch Design Large Set!! I backed the Window with the Denim Foiled Deco Foil™ Clear Toner Sheets in Polka Dots and added my Mixture of Pretty Pink Posh Sequins!! I used the NND Land Border Dies to create a Grass Layer and Distress Inks in Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover to Color it!! I added the Newton's Rainy Day Image with some iCraft 3D White Foam Squares for some Dimension and my Card was done!!

 For my second project I decided to crate a FUN Winter themed Card!! I started by Stamping and Embossing the SWEET Sledding Dog Image from the NND Winter Woofs Stamp Set the Hat and Candy Cane Images from the NND Ornamental Newton Stamp Set!! I used the coordinating NND Winter Woofs Die Set and the Ornamental Newton Die Set to Die Cut the Images out!! I used Copic Markers to Color my Images!! I used the Gina K. Designs Nested Circle Dies Single Stitch Design Large Set for my Circle Base, Die Cutting 2 Circles!! To create the Snowy Hill I used the NND Land Border Dies and Inked the top edge with some Distress Ink in Hickory Smoke!! For the Card Base I used the NND Holiday Foliage Stencil along with the Deco Foil™ Transfer Gel to Stencil the Design onto the Cardstock!!

I've used the BEAUTIFUL Deco Foil™ Transfer Sheets in Aqua to Foil over the Deco Foil™ Transfer Gel!! Isn't it Striking!!?? I wish you could see it in real life!! I wanted there to be some texture to the Images, so I used a serrated Knife to apply the Gel over my Stencil and its AMAZING how well that texture shows once the Foil is added!! I adhered the Circle onto the Front of the Card base using some iCraft 3D White Foam Squares for some Dimension and my Card was done!!

THANKS Snow Much Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!!
I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing a SWEET Winter Card!!
We've been getting SNOW so I thought it'd be FUN to create a Thanks SNOW Much Card!!

I used that cute Husky building a snowman from the Winter Woofs Stamp Set!! This is probably one of my FAVORITE Stamp Sets, the Images are just AMAZING!!

 

After Stamping and Embossing the Image I used copic markers to Color the Images and trimmed them out using the coordinating Winter Woofs Die Set!! I thought the Snowman needed a Hat so I Stamped and Embossed the Hat from the Ornamental Newton Stamp Set!! I LOVE being able to get MORE mileage out of my Images!! To build my scene, I used Milled Lavender, Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio Distress inks to create a gorgeous Wintery background, adding water droplets for some Texture and then adding some ColoriQue Snow Summit Ink Splatters for Falling Snow!! To add even more texture I Stamped and Embossed several Snowflakes from the Fox Hollow Stamp Set and Winter Tails Stamp Set with White Embossing powder!! I wanted them to SPARKLE so I added some Glitter Nuvo Drops to the centers of the Snowflakes!!

SWOON!! In real life, this just makes me HAPPY!! =)  For the snowy hill I used the Land Borders Die Set and the little banner that holds the sentiment was trimmed out with our Frames & Flags Die Set!! The "Thanks snow Much" sentiment is from the Winter Tails Stamp Set!!

Whether your getting Snow in your Neck of the Woods, this Card is SURE to Bring a SMILE to some ones DAY!!
