 I'm here for the Newton's Nook Designs 7 Year Blog Hop & SALE!! Who feels like CELEBRATING!! So EXCITED to help Newton's Nook Designs CELEBRATE their 7th Year of AMAZING Products and FUN!!

My Card is a Shaker Card!! I LOVE to make Shaker Cards!! Building a scene that mixes both New and Older Stamp Sets!! Its FUN to look through your stash and bring NEW life to some of the Images you might not have used in awhile!! I started by Stamping and Embossing the Images from the Newton's Nook Designs Purr-Maid Newton Stamp Set, Narly Mermaids and Manatee-rific!! I colored the Images using Copic Markers!!

Newton: E40, E43, E47
Mermaid Tail:
Starfish:
Angel Fish:
Seahorse: YR00, YR02,        V01, V06, V12
Purple Fish: V01, V06
Sea Shell: E40, E43, E44

Then I used some Distress Oxide Inks in Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral and Aged Mahogany to Stamp the Coral Images from the Tranquil Tides Stamp Set!! Then Embossed them using some WoW Clear Embossing Powder!! I used the coordinating Dies from Purr-Maid Newton, Narly Mermaids, Manatee-rific and Tranquil Tides to Die Cut the Images out and added some White Gel Pen Details then set them aside!!

 For the Base I Started with an A2 Distress Watercolor Panel and inked it up using Tumbled Glass!! Then I Inked two more Panels using Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire!! I added some Water Droplets using a Distress Sprayer for some dimension!! Then I die cut the Top of each of the Panels to create some Waves using the Newton's Nook Designs Sea Borders Die Set!!

To add even more interest to my under water scene I took the Newton's Nook Designs Sunscape Stencil and adhered it over my Distress Inked Panel with some Therm O Web Purple Tape!! Then used some Simon Says Stamp White Pigment Ink and Inked it up using a Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool!! I LOVE the look of Light Filtering in from up above!! I used the Newton's Nook Designs Land Borders Die Set to Die Cut a Sandy Bottom and used Distress Inks in Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs to Ink it up!! I added some Stamped Details using the Image from the Tranquil Tides Stamp Set and Gathered Twigs!!

 I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Narly Mermaids Stamp Set in WoW Opaque Bright White Super Fine Embossing Powder!! Then I adhered all of my Images creating the FUN under water scene using Therm O Web Mixed Media Multi-purpose Adhesive!! Some Tonic Studios Simply White Nuvo Drops were used to create some Water Bubbles coming from the Images and set aside to dry!! 

I adhered some Hot Off the Press Acetate Sheet to the back of my Card Front Panel using some Therm O Web iCraft Double Sided Tape!! I used several Therm O Web 3D Mounting Squares to create my Foam Frame layer and added a mixture of Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Mini Star Confetti, Sea Glass Jewels and Studio Katia Iridescent Crystals for the Shaker Elements!!

Cute Corgi Beach Tag w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

                            Cute Corgi Beach Tag!!

 Today I'm sharing this FUN Summer Scene Corgi at the Beach Tag with Newton's Nook Designs!! I wanted to feature the Sweet Corgi on the Floaty from the Corgi Beach Stamp Set!! I colored this adorable pup and cut the image out using the coordinating Corgi Beach Die Set. The tag was cut out using the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set and I added in layered of waves using our Sea Borders Die Set. Above the cute pup I added a splash and the sentiment "bark less, beach more" also from the  Corgi Beach Stamp Set. I dressed up the tag with some ribbons and added it to a little burlap bag. This would be so perfect to use to dress up a little summer treat or gift. It would be a great party favor too!! Here's a close up look at the Gift Tag!! 

I hope I've given you some ideas on ways to use the NEW Corgi Beach Stamp Set!! Those Images are so VERSATILE!!!

         I'm here with Day 2 of the 

               Newton's Nook Designs July Release 2019!! 

.       Today we're showcasing the NEW  

"Perfect Wave" Stamp Set + "Scuba Newton" Stamp Set + coordinating Dies!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

I just had to create a Scene with Newton and his Girlfriend on my first Card ready to Surf at the Beach!! I used coordinating Colors as I thought it would be FUN for them to be matchy!! I used the NEW Clouds Decorative Edge Stencil along with some Distress Oxide Ink for my Cloudy Sky!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment using some WoW Neutral Shimmer Embossing Powder and I LOVE the hint of Sparkle!! I also added a Few of the Flowers from the Set and some Red Jewels to help frame the Sentiment and add another POP of Color!!  

I Die Cut the Waves using the Sea Borders Die Set from some TE Cardstock!! Then I inked the edges using some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink to make the POP!! I Colored the Images with Copic Markers and added some White Gel Pen Details!! I Die Cut the Sand using the Land Borders Die from some Toffee TE Cardstock and Inked it using some Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink!!

I wanted a FUN Scuba Scene and I KNEW I wanted to use LOTS of BRIGHT Colors!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing ALL of the Images!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color them all adding some White Gel Pen Details, Glitter Pen and Morning Dew Nuvo Drops for some Dimension and Sparkle!! Then I Die Cut them all using the coordinating Dies!! 

For the background I used some Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks!! Then I used the Waves Stencil Die to add some Dimension and Movement to the Water!! Some water splatters add even more dimension!! I Die Cut the Sand using the Land Borders Die from some Toffee TE Cardstock and Inked it using some Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink!! 

I LOVE the way it turned out!!

Sledding in a Two-Toned Foiled Snowflake Wonderland w/ Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO Crafty Friends and HAPPY Friday!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing a gorgeous Winter card!! I just LOVE making my Winter/Holiday Cards Sparkle and Shine and this Card has LOTS of that!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the cute image of the Corgi on the sled from the NND Winter Woofs Stamp Set, I colored the pup with Copic Markers!! I like adding lots of tiny dots to the fur for texture. I Die Cut the Corgi out using the coordinating Winter Woofs Die Set to add him to my Winter Scene. I also Stamped and Embossed the Santa hat and candy cane from our Ornamental Newton Stamp Set, coloring them with Copic Markers too,and adding some Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops and a Sprinkling of Distress Rock Candy Glitter!! I adhered them to the Corgi to help give the Scene a Holiday feel!! I created a  circle and added a little hill of snow using the wave from our Sea Borders Die Set.  A few Stamped and Embossed Snowflakes were added to the Sky and then I inked over them to make them POP with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink!! Tonic Studios Nuvo Glaze Dots along with a Sprinkling of Distress Rock Candy Glitter finish off the Center of the Embossed Snowflakes!! 

For my Cardbase I created a BEAUTIFUL Two-Toned Foiled Design using the Negative Foil that was left over from Foiling the NEW Prim Poinsettia Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheets!! I added it to a Piece of Deco Foil Toner Sheets and ran it through my Laminating Machine!! Then I Foiled over it using some Rebekah Meier Antique Pearl Foil to create the Two Toned Design!! In Real like its just STUNNING and adds tons of Shimmery Sparkle!! Then I added some Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters for the look of Snowflakes and then I adhered some Sequin Snowflakes to the center of some of the Poinsettia Images to make them look more like Snowflakes!! Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops and Distress Rock Candy Glitter finish off the Center of the Snowflakes!!

Advice from the Lake w/ Newton's Nook Designs and Stamping for Autism!!

Hello & Happy Friday!!

Today I'm sharing a BEAUTIFUL Lake themed card on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog!!

 

 

I created this lovely little lake scene to hold the big sentiment from the Lake Advice Stamp Set. I cut out the stitched rectangle panel using the Frames & Flags Die Set and watercolored it with Distress Oxide inks behind the sentiment. I added the wavy lake edge using our Sea Borders Die Set. I stamped the little trees to create a shore line, also from the Lake Advice Stamp Set. For the shiny wave background I used Distress Oxide Inks and a Stencil Brush to Ink the entire background with a light layer of Salty Ocean and then placed the Stencil down using Therm O Wed Purple Tape to hold it in place a Inked over it again with the Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink.. I then moved the Stencil up alittle and Inked it again using Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink. I LOVE the look of this Stencil layered!! Then I moved it up again and used Therm O Web Deco Foil Transfer Gel over the Waves Stencil, let it dry and foiled it with the NEW Deco Foil in Denim!!

SWOON!! I LOVE the way it looks!!
