THANKS Snow Much Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!!
I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today sharing a SWEET Winter Card!!
We've been getting SNOW so I thought it'd be FUN to create a Thanks SNOW Much Card!!

I used that cute Husky building a snowman from the Winter Woofs Stamp Set!! This is probably one of my FAVORITE Stamp Sets, the Images are just AMAZING!!

 

After Stamping and Embossing the Image I used copic markers to Color the Images and trimmed them out using the coordinating Winter Woofs Die Set!! I thought the Snowman needed a Hat so I Stamped and Embossed the Hat from the Ornamental Newton Stamp Set!! I LOVE being able to get MORE mileage out of my Images!! To build my scene, I used Milled Lavender, Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio Distress inks to create a gorgeous Wintery background, adding water droplets for some Texture and then adding some ColoriQue Snow Summit Ink Splatters for Falling Snow!! To add even more texture I Stamped and Embossed several Snowflakes from the Fox Hollow Stamp Set and Winter Tails Stamp Set with White Embossing powder!! I wanted them to SPARKLE so I added some Glitter Nuvo Drops to the centers of the Snowflakes!!

SWOON!! In real life, this just makes me HAPPY!! =)  For the snowy hill I used the Land Borders Die Set and the little banner that holds the sentiment was trimmed out with our Frames & Flags Die Set!! The "Thanks snow Much" sentiment is from the Winter Tails Stamp Set!!

Whether your getting Snow in your Neck of the Woods, this Card is SURE to Bring a SMILE to some ones DAY!!

Hello and HAPPY Friday!!
WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!! The FIRST Week of the New Year is in the Books and I'm not sure about you, but I'm still getting used to it being 2016!!?? Kinda makes me SMILE and reminds me of how I felt right after I got Married and had to get used to my New Name!! It took awhile to get used to!! I also want to wish my Baby Boy GREYSON aVERY HAPPY 3rd Birthday and my Brother Seth a VERY HAPPY 33rd Birthday!! =)

Anyway, I hope you've had a GREAT Week and I'm here to hopefully make your FRIDAY AMAZING too!!??
I'm here with my FIRST Post for Newton's Nook Designs for 2016 and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the way this Card came together!! I don't know about you, but I've been BUSY getting ALL of my Holiday THANK You Cards sent and I just LOVE being able to Personalize a few SPECIAL Cards!!This one was just sent to my Mom and Dad!! I wanted to create a FUN Scene showcasing how it feels coming from their House each Holiday Season!! LOL!! SO BLESSED with a Car FULL of GOODIES!! =) I've used Several of my FAVORITE NND Sets to create this Card and I've done some FUN Layering and Embossing to make it FULL of Depth and Dimension because that to me is SO FUN when you're both creating and receiving a Card!! I've used Distress Inks for ALL of my Water Coloring and of course some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker for some Sparkle!!

I started by Stamping my Main Image from the Newton's Nook Designs Winston's Home for Christmas Stamp Set onto some Distress Water Color Paper that I Die Cut using the Largest Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Die!! Then I created a Mask by stamping the same Image onto some Post It Paper!! I then used the Masked to Cover my Main Image and I Stamped the Trees from the New NND Whispering Pines Stamp Set!! I Layered them to create a FULL Tree Line and I used Distress Inks mixing the Colors right on my Stamp then Huffing on the Image and Stamping it!! I then covered them with Wow Clear Embossing Powder!! I wanted to create a Shadow so then I stamped over the Trees with the Pine Needles and Walnut Ink Distress Inks off setting the Images some!! I  then Stamped and Embossed and Cut out the Sign and Snow Pile from the NND Winter Tails Stamp Set and then I added the Sweet Cardinal to the Top of the Sign from the same set!! I could have left it as a One Layers Card which would have been just AMAZING, but I decided to add some dimension by Stamping and Fussy Cutting the Winston Image out and Water Coloring it!!  =) I used the Snow Fall Image to create some Falling Snow and my card was Finished!!
