It time for the March Newton's Nook Designs Release!! I'm SO EXCITED to share the New Stamp Sets with you for this Month!! You're going to LOVE them!! Today we are showcasing the New Set called "Newton's Birthday Flutter"!!

Isn't this a FUN Little Mini Set!!?? I had to Giggle when I first saw it!! You could REALLY get creative and have FUN with the Images in this set!! =) So for my card today I decided to make a Shaker Card!! Originally, I wanted to add some of the Feathers to my shaker as a FUNNY little touch, but after making a Mock-Up just to test it out I decided I didn't like it as much as I thought I would!! I think it would be MORE Appealing if you could have the feathers be double sided!!?? I'm still brainstorming so maybe I can figure something out!!?? Until then I decided just to add the Feathers to the outside of the shaker and have them look as though they are falling down!! I LOVE the way it turned out and the EXTRA work of Fussy Cutting all of those Tiny Little Feathers was SO worth it in the end!! I used Copic Markers to color ALL of my Images!! I'm still NOT a PRO when it comes to using my Grey and Black Colors yet, but I stuck with it and in the end I got it too look pretty good I think!!?? I've used some Crystal Sequins from Simon Says Stamp in a Mixture of sizes!! Then for even more Sparkle I added some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker to some of the Images!!

March Newton's Nook Designs Release ~ BEAUTIFUL BLOSSOMS!! =)

HELLO!!

It time for the March Newton's Nook Designs Release!! I'm SO EXCITED to share the New Stamp Sets with you for this Month!! You're going to LOVE them!! Today we are showcasing the New Set called "BEAUTIFUL BLOSSOMS"!!

This set might remind you of the AMAZING Snowflake Set that was Release last Winter!! It showcases a Similar Delicate Design that has just WON my Heart and I KNOW this is going to be one of those sets that I use ALOT!! =) I decided to make a Tag for today to show how AMAZING this would be used for a HAPPY SPRING Tag on a Pot of Flowers for someone Special!! I thought it might even be BEAUTIFUL used for a Mother's Day Tag for my Sisters!!?? I just LOVE it!!

 

I started by Cutting my Tag Base form some Tim Holtz Distress Water Color Paper using a Paper Trey Ink Tag Die!! I stamped my Images in Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and then used Ranger Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder to Emboss them!! I then took my Tim Holtz Distress Markers in Mustard Seed and Scattered Straw and Water Colored the Yellow parts of my Design!! I used Mowed Lawn and Spring Moss for the Green Parts and I LOVE these Colors together!! For my ground I just freely added it using Walnut Stain!! I added some Pretty Pink Posh 4mm Crystal Sequins and a Sweet Polka Dot Ribbon!!
