HELLO!!
Today I wanted to share so FUN ideas on ways to create some Simple but Elegant Gift Bags using some of the other Dies you may have in your Collection!!?? I've LOVED the Sunny Studio Stamps Sweet Treat Bag Die and I wanted to find a way to be able to Dress It up, in order to create some Easy, but Elegant Gift Bags!! I found the EASIEST solution while using the rest of the AMAZING Sunny Studio Stamps that I already had in my Collection!!
Here's what I've created!!
My Mom and one of my Sisters will be Celebrating their Birthday's in a couple Weeks and I wanted to create some Elegant Gift Bags and the NEW Sunny Studio Stamps Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Die was the PERFECT option!!
I simply Die Cut the Sweet Treat Gift Bag from some Taylored Expressions Cardstock and then I centered the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Die in the center of the Gift Bag and Ran it through my Die Cutting Machine!! I used the Spellbinders Tool to help remove the tiny pieces and then I wanted to make the STUNNING Eyelet Design POP more so I took an Ink Dauber with some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and inked over the Flowers to help make them POP!! I also Inked lightly around the rest of the Bag and I LOVE the way it turned out!!
I created a coordinating Gift Tag using the Wrap Around Gift Box Die Set!! I wanted the Flower Design to be added to the Gift Tag so I Die Cut the NEW Eyelet Lace and Daisy Border Dies!! I Inked around them to make them the same color as the ones on the Gift Bag and then I Stamped and Embossed the Make a Wish Sentiment from the Make a Wish Stamp Set onto the Tag using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Neutral Shimmer Embossing Powder!! I LOVE the added touch of Sparkle!! A BEAUTIFUL Ribbon Scrap Bow finished off the Design and I just KNOW my Mom is going to LOVE it!! Think Mother's Day and Anniversaries or even Bridal or Wedding Showers too!! The possibilities are ENDLESS!!
For my next Bag I wanted to create a Basket Bag!! I think this would also work GREAT for Masculine Gifts for the Men in our Lives!! I used the Frilly Frames Lattice Scalloped Rectangle Die and Die Cut it from the center of the Sweet Treat Gift Bag from Kraft Cardstock!! To make it more sturdy and to add some Dimension to the Design, I backed it with some Woodgrain Patterned Paper!! I Inked the Bag with some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and an Ink Dauber!!
I Die Cut the Rounded Top of the Bag using the same Woodgrain Pattered Paper and Inked it using the same Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink to tie the Design together!!
I created a Coordinating Tag using the Wrap Around Gift Box Die Set!! I wanted the I Love You Sentiment and a Heart and I Stamped them from the Love Monkey Stamp Set!! I LOVE the way it turned out and I think these would be PERFECT for Masculine Designs, but you can also use them for ANY occasion as it kind of resembles a Basket!!
My last project showcases the Wrap Around Gift Box Die Set!! I wanted to make it more Elegant and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I started by Die Cutting 2 of the NEW Sunny Studio Stamps Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Die from white Cardstock!! Then I used the coordinating Dies from the Wrap Around Gift Box and Die Cut the Panels from the Eyelet Lace Die Cut Cardstock!! I payed attention to the direction of the Pattern as I was Die Cutting the Panels so they'd a run in the same direction, although I'm sure it'd look just as beautiful even if you didn't!! I adhered them to the Box Panels!!
Here's a look at the Box Closed!! Isn't is BEAUTIFUL!!?? I just LOVE the look of Eyelet Lace and this Gift Box just makes me HAPPY!! So many possibilities on occasions you can use these for!!
For the sides of the Box I wanted to use the NEW Eyelet Lace and Daisy Border Dies to contnue the Eyelet Design onto the Box!! I Die Cut 4 Borders and adhered them to the top and Bottom edges of the Box!! I created another Gift Tag and added the Scrap Ribbon Bow and this Sweet Gift Box is ready to fill and give to someone Special for ANY Occasion!!
So there you have SEVERAL ideas on ways you can Stretch those Background Dies to create some Easy and Elegant Gift Boxes so ANY occasion!! I hope you'll take a look at your stash and create some for your needs!!

It's strange to think that just 3 Weeks ago our Daily Routine changed drastically!! I thought I was BUSY then!! lol!! 😜 I find my days are so FULL with things to do that the thought of even leaving our Farm to do anything else just seems CRAZY!! I NEVER thought I'd have that outlook after 3 Weeks of being quarantined!! Maybe the fact that we live on a Farm and have plenty of wide open space to Work in outdoors helps!!?? The weather has also made it easy to enjoy the work outdoors that we need to get done on a daily basis, but our hours of activities seems more like Summer!! Even though this is definitely NOT Summer and I'm hoping for some type of return to normal soon!!?? We wake up at 6:30 do homework and eat breakfast!! Then around 11:00 I get Lunch packed and we're out the door to Work!! We've been BUSY renozzeling the Pivots, cutting down Cedar Trees in the Pastures, Fixing Fence to make sure that the Cattle will stay put once they are moved back to the Pastures and Adam has been busy in the Field getting the Fertilizer Spread and getting the Planter set up so he's ready to plant in a Couple Weeks!! We usually get home around 8:30 pm, I get Supper ready while the Boys Shower and Clean up!! We sit down to Eat and then unwind with a Short Movie and head to Bed!! So as you can see we have been STAYING BUSY!!
