Embellish Magazine Challenge!! =)

Here is what I came up with!! =)
I LOVE the colors and I just had to use MY FAVORITE Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Trunk Bay!!
I used the papers from Pink Paislee's Vintage Vogue Collection!! I LOVE the colors and designs of this collection. Then I used the new butterfly punch by EK Success that has three different punches on one punch unit. It really is AWESOME and SO EASY to use!! I added Prima Bling to the center of each and then stamped using Paper Trey Ink stamps!!

WOW!! Made the Bella Blvd. Blog!! =)

Well many of you know that Bella Blvd. held their first ever Design Team call and just announced the New Team for 2011-12.
I tried out because I LOVE their cute designs and come on Stephanie just seems SO SWEET!! =)
I LOVE all of the creativity that the Bella Team has and who wouldn't want to be a part of that!!????
Well I knew that it was a LONG shot as I am fairly NEW to the whole DT thing, but my mom always said "that you'll never know unless you try." So I have grown up with that outlook and decided to give it a shot.
Sad but true I didn't make the team~~I really was SAD =(
On the BRIGHT side though the Team that they chose is FULL of AMAZING talent and I know that we will be INSPIRED by them ALL year. There will be another call and maybe someday it will be my name on that list???
Until then though they decide to share some of the projects that CAUGHT their EYE and guess what I made that list with my Paper Apron!! =)
YIPPEE~~that has to be a GOOD thing???  RIGHT!!
So even with the sadness something good has come from it and I think you should go check out all of the other AMAZING PROJECTS that made that list!! There are LOT of TALENTED DESIGNERS out there and if you keep creating and believing in yourself and your talents BIG THINGS will happen for you too someday!!
Here is the link and the photo of my PAPER APRON!! =)

Dies to Die For Challenge!! =)

Oh how DIE~ABULOUS is this challenge!! =)
I LOVE to use my dies and if you want to play along or feel like you need an inspirational pick-me-up check it out here: http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2011/09/simon-says-dies-to-die-for.html
Well I had a hard time deciding what I was going to do for this challenge-but these dies made me want to create a garden of flowers on my card!! So here is what I came up with!!

I wanted to create a basket full of flowers. I had bought some of the Dimensions Feltworks 100% wool felt and have been dying to play with it this color challenge was the PERFECT chance!! I cut out seven felt flowers using the smallest Bloom Nesting die from Lifestyle Crafts. Then I cut out one of the next size from the same set to make the larger flower. I used a Martha Stewart lotus flower punch to make all of the other flowers seven in a cream and seven in a turquoise. I used a websters pages paper for both. Then I inked the edges of all of the flowers including the felt ones with the saddle brown staz on ink pad. I layered all of the flowers and then added a lite blue pearl by Prima in the center of all of the flowers!!
I hand cut a basket shape and then added strips onto with pop up dots to make the basket look 3-D. I inked in a lite blue chalk ink first by Color Box first and then in saddle brown staz on ink. I added a lite blue vintage lace around the top of the basket and wrapped some brown string around it for even more texture. I then cut a 6X6 kraft card base and painted the edges using a malted milk paint dabber. Then I cut a cosmo cricket lite blue and cream polka dot paper to use as my card center and layered it with a brown cardstock from my mind's eye to make it pop of the kraft base. I placed a vintage doily in the center of the lite blue paper and then added my basket with pop dots and started to layer the flowers. I used a cosmo cricket rubon in the center of a stamping up label punch and inked the edges and placed it under the basket lace. I LOVE the way it turned out and I am really glad I played along with this challenge!! THANKS for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! =)

Stripes Embellish Magazine Challenge

Play along here each week with new challenges: http://embellishmagazine.com/blog/

Here is what I came up with!! I used the kraft for my card base and then I found a really old book page that I thought would be fun as the background!! I added the chalkboard paper, blue paper and a red polka dot paper for my stripes cutting one end to make it a banner going across my card front!!
Then I used a paper trey die to cut a black canvas frame and used the paper trey flower builders die to make the daisy!! I used a gemstone paper and a regular cardstock to give the flower more depth!!
I added a gem to the center. I wrapped a striped black and white string around the banner and added the thank you to the bottom of the banner. I LOVE the way it looks and I had alot of fun playing along with the color challenge!! Have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! =)

site!! I really had fun playing along with this color challenge, some of my FAVORITE COLORS!! =)

Moxie Fab World FABULOUS FELT CHALLENGE!! =)

Hello!! =)
Here is the card that I have made for the FABULOUS FELT challenge over at the Moxie Fab World Blog. You can check it out here: http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2011/08/next-challenge-in-moxie-fab-world.html
I had fun playing with felt. I cut out the card base from the monsters cricut cart. I then traced the tummy and horns and tail pieces and added the felt!! I LOVE the way the stuffed tummy added some dimension!! I also added the hand stitching for even more interest!!
Then I made another card. I used Bella Blvd. paper from the Tail Waggers & Cat Naps Quadrants.
I thought it made the perfect background for my winter card. I then cut out my tree shapes from two different colors of felt. I layered them and then tied the center with string to make them have a 3-D look. I added buttons with string stitched centers and then layered it all on the brown tree trunk. I used a Bella Blvd. sticker from the same line as the snow at the bottom of the card and the a chipboard star as the tree topper!! I LOVE that I used a line that isn't holiday designed and turned it into a Christmas card!! THANKS for stopping by and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
