You're one in a Melon w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Blog today sharing this SWEET Gift Set!! I was INSPIRED by a FUN Stenciled Card created by @Kaydemonbren8!! This is what I created after looking through my stash!! I LOVE the way it turned out and I hope you do too!!?? 

I Started by creating my Watermelon Background!! I sprayed the back side of the Tumbling Hearts Stencil with some Pixie Spray and then placed it over the Cardbase!! I mixed together Black Ice Metallix Gel with some White Glitz Glitter Gel for some Sparkle and applied it over the Tumbling Heart Stencil using a Stencil Pal!! I removed the Stenciled Panel and set it aside to dry!! Once it was dry I inked over the Panel using Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and then Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks!! I wanted an Ombre` Color!! Now as you can see by inking after the Stenciled Hearts get Inked, but I was okay with this as Real Seeds in a Watermelon aren't BRIGHT Black!! If this bothers you though, just Ink with the Pink Distress Oxide Inks and Stencil afterwards!! Either way I think makes a REALLY FUN Background design!! 

I wanted a Foiled Rind so I Cut a strip of Deco Foil Toner Sheets and Foiled it with some Gina K Designs Fancy Foils in Glittering Green!! I cut the strip and then adhered it to the Inked Watermelon panel!! I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the SWEET Bear Image from the Woodland Picnic Stamp Set and used Copic Markers to Color it in!! I used the coordinating Woodland Picnic Dies to Die Cut the Image out and then adhered it to my Card panel using some Foam Tape!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Newton's Melon Set!! I added some White and Black Gel Pen Details and some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops and Glitter Pen for some Sparkle and Shine!! Then a few Iridescent Jewels finishes off the Design!! 

 I created the SWEET Coordinating Tag using the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set!! I inked the background with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then applied the Stenciled Watermelon Strip and a Strip of the Foiled Rind!! I adhered the Bear Image with some Foam Tape and then Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and finished off with some of the Iridescent Jewels!! 

 I adhered the Tag to a Burlap Gift Bag and added a Pink Bow!! I think this SWEET Gift Set would be the PERFECT way to send a THANK YOU to someone SPECIAL!! Or change the sentiment and it would work for a SWEET Birthday Gift!! I hope I've INSPIRED you!!

Owl-ways and Forever Anniversary Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!!

Who's READY for the weekend!!?? I KNOW I am!! Except we're supposed to be getting more Snow and I'm READY for Spring Weather!! I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today with a BEAUTIFUL Anniversary Card, but it could also be used as just a Thinking of You Card or just a Hello from us Card too!! SO MANY Possibilities!!

I started out with the cute owl couple from our Love Owl-ways 

Stamp Set. I colored the sweet Owls with Copic Markers, 

added lots of little dots for texture and white gel pen accents too!!

I trimmed out the image using the coordinating Love Owl-ways 

Die Set. Then I created a gorgeous wreath for them to sit in using

 a bunch of different floral stamps. I LOVE combining the different

 set to create a totally NEW design and I LOVE the way this 

wreath turned out!! I created the circle using three lily stems from

 the Little Lillies Stamp Set, and added lots of extra little blooms

 and leaves from the Lovely Blooms Stamp Set and 

Toucan Party Stamp Set. I colored all these lovely flowers with

 Copics as well and added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Glitter Pen

 for some Sparkle and some Nuvo Drops for some dimension 

after cutting them out with their coordinating die sets. 

Then I assembled them into a wreath shape onto the background

 of the card where I added some Tumbled Glass Distress Inked

 Hearts using the Tumbling Hearts Stencil. A few Black Soot 

Distress Paint Splatters add some Texture and Dimension and 

then a Few Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops finishes off the design!! 

I thought the Owls need a place to sit so I added in a branch for

 the owls to perch on using the Winter Birds Stamp Set 

and coordinating Winter Birds Die Set.

Newton's Nook Designs January Release ~ My Type & Candy Heart!! =)

SQUEAL!!

         I'm here with Day 4 of the 

               Newton's Nook Designs January Release 2019!! 

.       Today we're showcasing the NEW  

 "My Type" Stamp Set + coordinating and 

Candy Heart" Stamp Set + coordinating!!

                  Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

I've made two SWEET Gift Tags and Gift Bags for today!! This first Bag I made using Vellum that I added Alcohol Inks too!! I also used the Lovely  Tumbling Hearts Stencil to create the resisted Hearts on the Bag!! I LOVE the way they look!! 

I Die Cut the Tags Times Two Tag Die for my Base then Stamped and Embossed the Typewriter Image that I colored with Copic Markers and adhered it tot the Tag!! I wanted to add a Few other Images, So I pulled out the "Sending Hugs" Stamp and Die Set thought the Flowers and a Larger Heart Image paired well with the Typewriter!! 

My New Gift Bag was made using the Frame from the Framework Die Set!! 

I layered SEVERAL Die Cuts to create a Sturdy Frame and then added the Pocket so I could add a Gift Card in there!! I Stamped and Embossed the Candy Heart Image and Colored it with Copic Markers!! I Die Cut it out and adhered it to the Front of the Frame!! Greyson wanted to give these to his Teachers for Valentine's Day!!

         I'm here with Day 3 of the 

               Newton's Nook Designs January Release 2019!! 

.                            Today we're showcasing the NEW  

"Love Owl-ways" Stamp Set + coordinating "Love Owl-ways" Die Set!!

                  Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

I created this Soft and Pretty Card for today!! ! Stamped and Embossed the SWEET Owl Image carrying a love note from the new "Love Owl-ways"  Stamp Set. Then used Copic Markers to Color it in!! For my Sky I wanted a Rainbow for Pastel Hearts so I used the Lovely  Tumbling Hearts Stencil and Spun Sugar, Milled Lavender and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks to ink them!! I Die Cut the clouds using the Sky Borders Die Set. I also added the scalloped panel to frame the whole scene using the Frames & Flags Die Set. I make the Owl even MORE SPECIAL!! I added a Mini Action Waubler to the back and its such a PERFECT finish touch!!

Newton's Nook Designs January Release 2018 Day 4~ "Newton's Sweetheart"!!

SQUEAL!! I'm here with Day 3 of the
Newton's Nook Designs January Release 2018!!
Today we're Showcasing the NEW "Newton's Sweetheart" Stamp Set + coordinating "Newton's Sweetheart" Die Set!! Let's take a look at these AWESOME Sets!!

How SWEET is this Set!!?? Newton has a Girlfriend!! EEEEKKKK!!

How can you NOT just LOVE everything about this!!??

I started by Die Cutting the Layers from the NND Frames and Flags Die Set for the Background of my Card!! Then I used the NEW Tumbling Hearts Stencil to add some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and create a subtle Heart Background!! I Die Cut some Lawn Fawn Hearts and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and added a Kitty Paw!! I Stamped and Embossed the Image and Die Cut it out then Colored it with my Copic Markers!! Adding White Gel Pen, Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen and Nuvo Drops to finish off my Card!!

 

 

Greyson who just turned 5 created this Card!! He did EVERYTHING from Stamping, Die Cutting, Coloring (w/ Colored Pencils) and even the assembly!! I helped to add some Glitter to the Collars and some Nuvo Drops to the Bottle!! He plans on giving this Card to his Preschool Teacher for Valentine's Day!! He Calls his Kitten Tiger a Calico Kitty a (Rainbow Kitty) hence the Rainbow of Colors!! They are ENJOYING Fresh Squeezed Lemonade!!
