Newton's Nook Designs STAMPtember Event EXCLUSIVE with Simon Says Stamp!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

Today I'm here for the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Event collaboration with Newton's Nook Designs!! 

SQUEAL!! I've been counting down the days until I could share with you this ADORABLE EXCLUSIVE Stamp Set!! Here's a Close up look of it!! 

I've designed several projects for today to share some different ideas on ways to use this ADORABLE EXCLUSIVE Stamp Set!! 

My first Card uses the Larger Images in the set to created a Stamped and Embossed Background!! I LOVE creating my own patterned paper with Images from my Stamp Sets!! I Stamped in Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Ink!! Then I heat set it with my Heating tool!! I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and then set the Panel aside to Dry!! 

Next I Die Cut a Scalloped Circle from some of the SSS   Cardstock and then Die Cut a Stitched Circle from some Distressed Watercolor Cardstock and Inked it with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the SWEET Image and Colored it with Copic Markers!! I used: 

Then I Fussy Cut the Image out and added it to the center of the Circle with some Gina K Designs Foam Squares!! You could also use an Action Wobbler which would be FUN too!! I finished off the Design with a White Clay Heart on the Pocket!! Just makes me SMILE!!  

I wanted a coordinating Envelope to go with my Card so I used the Simon Says Stamp Envelope and Stamped and Embossed the Same SWEET Image onto the Flap of the Envelope!! Then I added another Sentiment and added a few Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters to finish it off!! I LOVE being able to create Coordinating Sets to send and I LOVE that Simon Says Stamp has an ENTIRE Line of Envelopes in different sizes that coordinate with their BEAUTIFUL Cardstock Colors!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment on the inside of the Card after adding some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to coordinate with the front of the Card!! I used the same Copic Markers I used on the Pocket and then Embossed the Birthday Wishes Sentiment with some WoW Blueberry Embossing Powder and added another White Clay Heart!! 

My next Card is a CAS Design!! I wanted to show that even by using just a Single SWEET Image from the Set you can create SEVERAL Mass Produced Cards to have on hand for different occasions being there are several different Sentiments in the Set!! 

I Started by Die Cutting the Scalloped Frame from the NND Frames & Flags Die Set from some Sunny Studios Blue Gingham Patterned Paper!! Then I Die Cut a Stitched Rectangle Die from some Distress Watercolor Cardstock to add to the center of the Scalloped Frame!! 

Then I Inked the Center of the White Cardstock with some Distress Oxide Ink and Tumbled Glass!! I added some Water Splatters and a few Blue Print Splatters!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and added a few Jewels and Clay Hearts to finish off the Design!! 

I also created a coordinating Envelope to match using a SSS    Envelope!! I Traced the Flap onto the backside of my Sunny Studios Patterned Paper and then cut it with my Scissors and adhered it to the Flap of the Envelope!! Then I Stamped and Embossed a Sentiment from the Set onto the Flap!! A really Simple CAS Card and coordinating Envelope PERFECT for Mass Producing or just creating for a SPECIAL Occasion!! 

My last Project is couple sets of really ADORABLE Shrink Plastic Earrings!! If you know me then you know I'm ALL about the Details!! Whether its in my Card Designs, or my personal Wardrobe!! You rarely will ever see me without my Jewelry!! Even if I'm just driving a Tractor to Pick up Hay Bales in the Field, or running the Elevator for Harvest!! So I just had to create some ADORABLE Earring with these Images!! I used some of the Graffix Shrink Plastic and Stamped the Images using STAZon  Pigment Ink using my MISTI Stamping Tool!! Then I used my Copic Markers to Color the Images in!! I used: 

Next I Fussy Cut the Images out and then I used the Sizzix Shrink Plastic Tool to help in the Heating process with Heating the Plastic to Shrink it!! I've been making Shrink Plastic Earrings for a long time and I haven't found anything I LOVE more than this Tool for making these type of Earrings!! 

Next I adhered the Earring Backs onto the back of the Shrink Plastic using some E6000 Glue and then setting them aside to Dry!! I like to give them 24 hours to dry before I wear them or adhere them to the CUTE Tags I made for Gift Giving!!

Newton's Nook Designs 2019 Sweet Treats Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Newton's Nook Designs 2019 Sweet Treats Blog Hop!!
Today I have some SWEET Projects to share for those Valentine's Day Gifts!!
Greyson and I were BUSY Crafting up a storm last weekend and we had a BLAST creating for those SPECIAL people in our lives!! Here's what we created!!

The Gift Bag Frame was made using the Scalloped Frame from the NND "Framework" Die Set!! 

I layered SEVERAL Die Cuts to create a Sturdy Frame and then added the Pocket so I could add a Gift Card in there!! I Stamped and Embossed the Candy Heart Image from the NND "Candy Heart" Stamp Set and Colored it with Copic Markers!! I Die Cut it out and adhered it to the Front of the Frame behind the SWEET Newton Image from the Those NEW Lil' Candy Heart Images just make me HAPPY!! SO MANY possibilities!! Plus, they also work with the Larger images!! So I pulled out the "Sending Hugs" Stamp and Die Set and used the Newton Image along with the Flowers!! Greyson wanted to give these to his Teachers for Valentine's Day!! 

Next we created some SWEET Candy Heart Earrings to give as Gifts!! This was SO MUCH FUN!! Greyson Colored the White Shrink Plastic with Copic Markers!! Then we Stamped the Words in the Center of the Hearts!! We used the NEW NND "Candy Heart" Die Set and Die Cut the Shrink Plastic then we Shrunk it according to the Shrink Plastic Directions!! We adhere some 6mm Earring Backs onto the back of the Candy Hearts using some E6000 Glue and set them aside to dry!! These are tSO CUTE and the PERFECT Lil' Gift for anyone SPECIAL this Valentine's Day or for Birthdays or Just Because!!

                  Let's take a look at the AWESOME Project I've made for today!!

SQUEAL!! Who's ready for some CUTENESS!!?? For my project today, I've created a SWEET Gift Bag and a Pair of Earrings!! How FUN are these!!?? If you follow me, you KNOW I LOVE to make Jewelry with my Crafting Products and the CUTE Slothy Coffee Image just released by NND is the PERFECT Size Image for a Pair of Shrink Plastic Earrings!! I LOVE working with Shrink Plastic and its SO EASY!! I used Copi Markrs to Color the Image before I Shrunk it down and then placed a Sterling Silver Earring Post/Back onto the back of the Earrings using E6000 Adhesive!! For the Tag, I used the NND 

Tropical Leaves Stencil and Distress Inks onto a Die Cut I created using the NND Framework Die Set!!

Snowman Earrings Gift Set w/ Honey Bee Stamps!! =)

Hello!!

 

I'm here with Honey Bee Stamps today to share a SWEET Gift Package that I've made using the New Let It Snow Stamp Set and the Coordinating Let It Snow Sweet Cuts Die Set!! I've also used the New Merry & Joy Stamp Set and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!
If you've been to my Blog before, you KNOW I LOVE to make Jewelry too and being able to get MORE out of my Stamps and Dies just makes me HAPPY!! I also LOVE that I can make Handmade Gifts with stuff I already have on hand and they are SO MUCH more personal and meaningful to give too, because they were HANDMADE by Me!! =)
                           

To make the Sweet Little Earring I've used the AWESOME Snowman Image from the Let It Snow Stamp Set and Stamped it onto some Shrink Plastic using MFT Black Hybrid Ink!! I LOVE this Ink for Stamping onto Ranger Inkssentials Shrink Plastic, but you could also use Staz-on Ink if you have that too!! Then I Die Cut the Image out using the Coordinating Let It Snow Sweet Cuts Die Set!! I decided to cut off the Arms though as they would be HARD to keep from breaking once they shrink!! I added a Hole to the Top of the Snowman Image using the Crop-a-Dile and then I Shrunk them!! I used some Nunn Design Open Frames for the Base of my Earrings!! Then I attached a Jump Ring along with some Nunn Design Silver Plated Flat Cable Chain to create a Dangle!! I wanted a Sweet Little Word Banner to Dangle from the Earrings so I used the Banner from the Let It Snow Sweet Cuts Die Set and cut some Ranger Inkssentials Shrink Plastic!! Then I Stamped the Holidays Word using MFT Hybrid Ink in Black!! I Punched a Hole in the Top using a Crop-A-Dile and then I Cut it down to Size and Shrunk it!! I added a Jump Ring and Attached it to the Chain so it would Dangle from the Earrings!! For some added Sparkle I created some Bead Dangles using some BEAUTIFUL True2 Czech Fire Polished Faceted Round Pastel Aqua Beads and some Silver Head Pins!! I attached them onto the Chain (6 of the for each Earring)!! Then I added the Sweet Silver Bow Charms for a touch of even more Cuteness!! Then the Earring Hooks and my Earrings were done!! I've linked to some Videos to share how to create some of the Simple Techniques if you're New to Jewelry making!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Beadaholique Website/Store!! There's SO MUCH Information and Inspiration if you're NEW to Jewelry Making, but would like to LEARN More about it!!

Reversible Leaf Shrink Plastic Earrings w/ Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!!
I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today!!
I'm sharing some FUN Reversible Earrings for today and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the way they turned out!! If you follow me yo KNOW I LOVE to make Jewelry too and my Stamps make Jewelry making so FUN and EASY because you can use SO MANY of your Images to create DIY Jewelry too for Gifts with the Products you already have on hand and it truly is SO EASY to do!!
Here are the Earrings for today!! I've used the BEAUTIFUL LEAVES Stamp Set along with the coordinating BEAUTIFL LEAVES Die Set to create my Earrings!!
  

Aren't they AWESOME with the Reversible Design!!?? I actually found out how to do this by complete accident!! I was wanting to see if you could Heat Emboss on Shrink Plastic so I decided to stamp and emboss the Design onto the Die Cut Shrink Plastic and then I added my Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder when I went to heat emboss it and the piece shrunk it turned the Embossing into a FULL Die Cut covered in Embossing but on the other side the Design was still there beings I had used a Colored Ink to Stamp with rather than using Embossing Ink!! How AWESOME!!??  =)  So I decided to create Reversible Earrings and I just LOVE the look!! I have had SEVERAL Questions on how to do this Technique so I've made a Video to share!! YIPPEE!!


SQUEAL I'm SO EXCITED and I hope you'll give this a Try!! Like I said its SO EASY and you can use Products you already have on hand to create such FUN Pieces of DIY Jewelry for your Gift Giving Needs, plus if you have Littles in you life rather it be your own Kids or Nieces and Nephews or even Grandkids or just the Neighbors Kids this is also an AWESOME Project for them too!! They LOVE LOVE LOVE to watch the Shrink Plastic Melt and to have something that they can PROUDLY WEAR and SHARE that they made!! So there are TONS of ways to try out this Technique and you can create Bracelets, Key Rings or even just Embellishments for your Cards too it doesn't have to be just for Earrings!!  Part of the FUN for me is thinking outside of the Box and se what I can create!! =)

Inky Paws Challenge #34 with Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO and HAPPY FRIDAY!!
I'm here today with Newton's Nook Designs for the New Inky Paws Challenge  #34 Summer Theme!! I wanted to share a couple pairs of Earrings that I created using Shrink Plastic and the Hibiscus Die Set along with the Garden Window Die Set and the Garden Starter Stamp Set!! I used my Copic Markers to Color them before I shrunk them with my Heat Gun!! Then used E6000 Glue to adhere them together and added a Post Earring Back to them using the same E6000 Glue!! I used the Garden Starter Stamp Set and Stamped and Embossed the Frame and then used the Garden Window Die Set to Die Cut them and create the Earring Cards and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiments too!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way they turned out and I think my Nieces are going to LOVE them too!!??  =)

Newton's Nook Designs July Release ~ Message In a Bottle!! =)

(This is my Second Post for today!! For my Paper Sweeties July Release Wrap Up Post, Please Scroll Down or Follow the Link!! THANKS!!  =)

Hello!!
Today we are showcasing the Newton's Nook Designs July Release with the New Set called "Message In a Bottle"!! SQUEAL!! Plus a Coordinating Die Set "Message In a Bottle Purr-fect Dies"!! Just look at these AMAZING Images!! =)

I've made several Projects to share for today!! =) First a One Layer Card!! I just LOVE the way it turned out!!  =) I was Inspired by this Picture on Pinterest!!

So I knew I just had to create a Card that had a Similar Scene!!  =) I had to use SEVERAL Masks and I stamped it out about 4 Times on Practice Paper before I got the Design/Layout just Right!! It was SO WORTH the Effort though!! I used the New Dies to Die Cut the Paper Scroll Image and used it for my Sentiment!! I also added a FUN Burlap Twine Stitched Border around the Edge and I really LOVE the Texture it adds without any Bulk!!

  My Next Card is a Shaker Card and I had FUN using Shrink Plastic to create some Little Shaker Charms!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE having the Coordinating Dies!! =) I Stamped and Embossed my Images on Distress Watercolor Paper and used my Distress Markers to Water Color them!! I Stamped 3 Waves from the Shark Bite Stamp Set and Fussy Cut Them!! One from Distress Water Color Paper and 2 from Vellum!! I added the Vellum Waves infront of the Acetate on the Window and I LOVE the Look!! Hope you'll give these Shrink Plastic Charms a Try!

My Last Project is a Bracelet!!

I've used Shrink Plastic and Die Cut a Large Stitched Rectangle using a Lil' Inker Designs Die and then I Stamped and Masked the Images the same way I did on my First Card!! SQUEAL!! It was SO FUN watching it Shrink Down!! While it was cooling I shaped it on my Wrist and then used Copic Markers to color it in!! I found out that if you used the AMAZING MFT Hybrid Ink which is good for Copic Coloring you can color with your Copic Markers once the Image is Dry and Shrinked and it doesn't harm your Image or your Copics!! AWESOME!! =)
