Shrink Film Butterfly Earrings and Gift Tags w/ Brutus Monroe!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!
I'm SO EXCITED to be Guest Designing for Brutus Monroe!! I LOVE SO MANY of the AMAZING Products and had such a FUN time creating with them!!  I LOVE giving Handmade Gifts and being able to use my Stamps in more than one way!! I have two different techniques for creating some Butterfly Earrings that ANYONE is sure to Cherish!! Plus it's such a simple process that you could even have your Friends or Kids get crafty with you too!!
First I created the Stenciled Cardstock to create my Tags!!
I started by using a piece of Brutus Monroe Wagon Cardstock!! I sprayed the back of my Brutus Monroe Mermaid Lagoon ~ Tangled Wave Stencil with some Therm O Web Pixie Spray and adhered it over the Cardstock!! Then I took some of the Brutus Monroe Glitter Glaze in Scarlet and applied it over the Stencil using my Stencil Pal!!
I removed the Stencil and washed it along with my Stencil Pal and set it aside to Dry!! I LOVE the way the colors work together!! It the PERFECT combination!!
Next I Stamped the Butterfly Image from the Take Flight Stamp Set onto the Shrink Film using StazOn Brown Pigment Ink and used Copic Markers in (Y11, YR23, R02, R05, R08, E41, N6 & N10) to color in the Image on the Backside of the Inked Shrink Film!! I wanted to create a STUNNING Watercolored look!! I LOVE the results!!
Next I Fussy Cut the Butterfly Images out and used my Heat Gun to Shrink them!! I LOVE the way they turned out!! Almost like they were hand painted!! I adhered the Earring Backs onto the back using some E6000 Glue that I placed onto the Earring Back using a Toothpick as it doesn't take much Glue!! Then set them aside for 24 Hours to cure!!
I Die Cut the Tag from some Brutus Monroe Not Your Mamas Cardstock and Die Cut the Bottom portion from the Stenciled Wagon Cardstock and adhered it to the bottom of the Tag after inking with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink!! I also Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Taking Flight Stamp Set and then Pierced a couple holes into the Tag to place the Earrings onto the Tag!!
If you wanted to use just the Image alone, you'd just Stamp the Butterfly Image onto the Brutus Monroe Shrink Film and Fussy Cut them out then Shrink them using your Heat Gun!!
I followed the same steps to adhere the Earring backs and then I create the Gift Tag!! I LOVE that you customize these for the recipient and their tastes!! Such a FUN Gift to both create and receive!!
THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and I hope I've INSPIRED you you to give this a try for any gifts you may need to give, or as a FUN Project to make with a Friend or Child!! No matter what I KNOW you'll LOVE it!!

HELLO & HAPPY Monday!!

Today I'm playing along with the WINTER Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!
There are going to be TONS of fun Prizes too -
including a $25 store credit from Newton's Nook Designs!!
You can head over to the Coffee Lovers Blog for more details on how to play along!

Here's what I created:
With the Holiday Season upon us I like to try and find ways to make Gifts that I can give not just for the Holidays, but throughout the year using my MOST beloved Stamped Images!! If you follow me you know I also LOVE to make Jewelry, so why not combine the two!!??
I Started by Die Cutting the Cup of Cocoa Die Set from some Grafix Shrink Film and then Stamped the Image from the Cup of Cocoa Stamp Set using MFT Hybrid Black Ink and used my Copic Markers to Color the pieces!! I used a Heat Gun to Shrink them and then I used the Quick Dry Aleene's Jewelry & Metal Glue to add the Metal 8mm Earring Rounds onto the backs of both pair!! In hind Sight, I'd use a Smaller Earring Round, but that's all I had on hand!!
For the Tag I used the Fancy Edges Tag Die Set!! I layered the Scalloped Tops for a FUN Design using Reverse Confetti Avocado Card Stock!! I Die Cut some of the other pieces for the Special Pieces in order to add the Earrings to the Tags so they are Supported well!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiments from the Newton's Candy Cane Stamp Set on the bottom of my Tags!! I plan on giving them as gifts to one if my SWEET Friends who just LOVES Coffee!!

If you follow me yo KNOW I LOVE to make Jewelry too and my Stamps make Jewelry making so FUN and EASY because you can use SO MANY of your Images to create DIY Jewelry too for Gifts with the Products you already have on hand and it truly is SO EASY to do!!
Here are the Earrings for today!! I've used the BEAUTIFUL LEAVES Stamp Set along with the coordinating BEAUTIFL LEAVES Die Set to create my Earrings!!

Aren't they AWESOME with the Reversible Design!!?? I actually found out how to do this by complete accident!! I was wanting to see if you could Heat Emboss on Shrink Plastic so I decided to stamp and emboss the Design onto the Die Cut Shrink Plastic and then I added my Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder when I went to heat emboss it and the piece shrunk it turned the Embossing into a FULL Die Cut covered in Embossing but on the other side the Design was still there beings I had used a Colored Ink to Stamp with rather than using Embossing Ink!! How AWESOME!!??  =)  So I decided to create Reversible Earrings and I just LOVE the look!! I have had SEVERAL Questions on how to do this Technique so I've made a Video to share!! YIPPEE!!

SQUEAL I'm SO EXCITED and I hope you'll give this a Try!! Like I said its SO EASY and you can use Products you already have on hand to create such FUN Pieces of DIY Jewelry for your Gift Giving Needs, plus if you have Littles in you life rather it be your own Kids or Nieces and Nephews or even Grandkids or just the Neighbors Kids this is also an AWESOME Project for them too!! They LOVE LOVE LOVE to watch the Shrink Plastic Melt and to have something that they can PROUDLY WEAR and SHARE that they made!! So there are TONS of ways to try out this Technique and you can create Bracelets, Key Rings or even just Embellishments for your Cards too it doesn't have to be just for Earrings!!  Part of the FUN for me is thinking outside of the Box and se what I can create!! =)
