Today I'm here with Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #47 Color Challenge!!

Here are the Details for playing along!!

 

Create a project using the Colors!!

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? Here's the Card that I've made for today!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the BRIGHT Colors for this Challenge and I CAN'T WAIT to share the Card!!

 

 

I've made this Beautiful Bouquet with SEVERAL NND Floral Sets including the Garden Starter Stamp Set, the Lovely Blooms Stamp Set and the Flower Garden Stamp Set!! I've also used the Lovely Blooms Die Set, and the Garden Window Die Set!! I Stamped and Embossed all of my Images and then I Die Cut and Fussy Cut the Images Out!! I used the BEAUTIFUL Pearl Watercolors to Watercolor the Images and I WISH you could see them in REAL Life!! SWOON!! So PRETTY!! Then I added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to the Centers of the Flowers and some Pearls so some of the others!! I wanted a Distress Inked Background so I used Tumbled Glass and then added Water Splatters and some Black Soot and Antique Brass Distress Paint Splatters!! I used a Lawn Fawn Scalloped Lace Die Cut for the Frame and then added it to a Reverse Confetti Cardstock Card Base!! I used the Banner from the Garden Window Die Set   for my Sentiment and Embossed it with some White Simon Says Stamp Embossing Powder!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!  =)

Newton's Nook Designs May Release ~ Newton Dreams of Italy!! =)

SQUEAL!! I'm here with Newton's Nook Designs for the
May 2017 Release!!

Today we're showcasing the New "Newton Dreams of Italy" Stamp Set + Coordinating "Newton Dream of Italy" Die Set!! You're going to LOVE this SWEET Set!!

Let's take a Close Up Look at the ENTIRE Set!!

How FUN is this Set!!?? Such AMAZING Images and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that several of the Images can be used on their own to create cards for MANY different occasions!! I thought it would be FUN to create an Anniversary Card for my Parents who will be Celebrating their 37th Wedding Anniversary on Friday!!

So when I saw these SWEET Images I thought it would be FUN to create a Table Scene!! You could use this idea for SO MANY Occasions!! I decided on an Anniversary Card!! I wanted a BIG Heart in the Background so I Die Cut a Mask using the Hero Arts Heart Die Set and then used Barn Door Distress Ink so it would match the Copic Marker Colors that I used for the Wine!! I Stamped my Sentiment from the Newton's Book Club Stamp Set right over the Inking and then added some Water Splatters!! Then I coated it ALL with some Clear Embossing Powder!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! Then I Stamped and Embossed my Images onto Distress Watercolor Paper and Colored them using Copic Markers!! I Die Cut them out using the Coordinating Dies and then I added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Images for some added Dimension and Texture!! Then I added the Banner from the Garden Window Die Set and White Heat Embossed my Sentiment from the Years of Cheers Stamp Set!! I added the Card Base to a Kraft Card and my Card was Finished!!  =)

Newton's Nook Designs April Release ~ Beautiful Plumage!! =)

Happy Monday and Welcome to the First Day of the New Newton's Nook Designs April Release!! Today we're showcasing the New "Beautiful Plumage" Stamp Set + Coordinating Die Set!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these New Images and the New Dies and think you will too!! Let's take a Look at the FULL Sets, Sold Separately available Friday April 14th, 2017!!

SQUEAL!! What a SWEET Set!! I have several Friends with Peacocks and we had some Growing up, so this Set is ALREADY Special for me!! I wanted to make a BEAUTIFUL Shaker Card!!

I Stamped and Embossed the Image onto some Distress Watercolor Paper with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink!! I then took Distress Inks in Blue Print Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed and Gathered Twigs and Watercolored the different areas of the Peacock Image moving out in a Circular Design!! I then added some Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Pen and s Black Gel Pen for the Eye of the Peacock!! I used the coordinating Dies to Die Ct the Image out and then I created my Shaker Card Base!! I used some Honey Bee Stamps Sequins, some Pretty Pink Posh Sequins and a Banner Die Cut from the Garden Window Die Set White Embossed with a Sentiment from the Beautiful Plumage Set!! I LOVE the Way this turned out and hope you do too!!??  =)

Newton's Nook Designs March Release ~ Newton's Rainy Day!! =)

Happy Thursday and Welcome to the Last day of the New Newton's Nook Designs March Release!! Today we're showcasing the New "Newton's Rainy Day" Stamp Set + Coordinating Die Set!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these New Images and the New Dies and think you will too!! Let's take a Look at the FULL Sets, Sold Separately available Friday March 17th, 2017!!

SQUEAL!! What a SWEET Set!! My Boys LOVE LOVE LOVE Frogs so as soon as I saw this Little guy, I KNEW I had to create a FUN Sunshine Scene for him and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I've used SEVERAL other NND Stamps and Dies to create this Card too!! I've used the Darling Hearts Die Set for the Stitched Heart, the Garden Window Die Set for the Sentiment Banner, the NEW Sky Borders Die Set (revealed on Monday's post) for the Waves, the Paradise Palms Stamp Set for the Palm Trees and the Birds, and the Hoppy Days Stamp Set for the Lily Pad Image!! I used the Tim Holtz Rays Stencil for the Sun Rays along with some Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber!! I also used Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans for the Water!! Then I added some Water Droplets just to the Water for some added Texture!!  I Die Cut my Base Panel using the Different Dies to create a FUN Inlaid Design!! I used Foam Tape on the Water to make the Frog and Water POP and to have the Sun Rays/Palm Trees fall in the Background!! I used Spectrum Noir Markers to Color my Images and then added some Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen for some Sparkle!! I also coated the Lily Pad with some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops!! Hope you feel INSPIRED to use those Little Images in these sets to create a SCENE too!!??  =)

Inky Paws Challenge #34 with Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO and HAPPY FRIDAY!!
I'm here today with Newton's Nook Designs for the New Inky Paws Challenge  #34 Summer Theme!! I wanted to share a couple pairs of Earrings that I created using Shrink Plastic and the Hibiscus Die Set along with the Garden Window Die Set and the Garden Starter Stamp Set!! I used my Copic Markers to Color them before I shrunk them with my Heat Gun!! Then used E6000 Glue to adhere them together and added a Post Earring Back to them using the same E6000 Glue!! I used the Garden Starter Stamp Set and Stamped and Embossed the Frame and then used the Garden Window Die Set to Die Cut them and create the Earring Cards and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiments too!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way they turned out and I think my Nieces are going to LOVE them too!!??  =)

Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws #33 Ombre` Challenge!! =)

HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!!
WOW!! Is it me or did this week just FLY by!!?? I'm here today to share the card I've made for the New Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws #33 Ombre` Challenge!! I was SO EXCITED when I saw this Challenge!! I decided to use the SWEET Bird Image from the Darling Duos Stamp Set mixed with the Die Cut Feathers and a Layered Arrow from the Points & Plumes Die Set!!

I Stamped and Embossed the Bird Image and used the Coordinating NND Darling Hearts Die Set to Die Cut it out!! I then used my Copic Markers to Color them in using the Colors of Pinks and Blues!! I added some Shimmer Glaze Pen Dot Details to add some Sparkle!! Then I Die Cut SEVERAL of the Feathers and used the same Colors to Color the Feathers in the same Ombre` Colors!! I wanted to added some Gold like in the Challenge Photo so I Dipped the edges of the Feathers in to some WoW Gold Glitter Embossing Powder!! I LOVE the way they look in real Life!! =) I Layered them together underneath the Bird Image and then Die Cut a Flag Banner from the New Garden Window Die Set and Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment from the NND Flitry Flamingo's Stamp Set using the same WoW Gold Glitter Embossing Powder!! I wanted it to POP off the Image so I Die Cut another Flag Banner in Black Cardstock and layered it behind!! I added the same WoW Gold Glitter Embossing Powder to the Arrows that I Glued together and then added some Foam Tape and mounted it above the Sentiment Flag Banner!! A Few Pretty Pink Posh Sequins Finishes off the Design!! June Newton's Nook Designs Release ~ Newton's Support!! =)

SQUEAL!! Today we're kicking off the LAST Day of the New June Newton's Nook Designs Release and you are in for a HUGE TREAT again today!! This New Stamp Set is just AMAZING and you're going to just LOVE using these Images!! =)

Let's take a FULL Look at the New

"Newton's Support" Stamp Set!!

So when I first saw this set it REALLY MEANT ALOT to me!! For those of you who don't know my Story I have been Battling a VERY Rare Colon/Rectal Cancer since last Fall!! It has CHANGED my life in ways I NEVER thought possible, but yet it has also brought a HUGE sense of AWARENESS for just how MANY People are going through similar Battles with Cancer too!!

I chose to use the "DARK BLUE" Ribbon which is the Ribbon for Colon/Rectal Cancer!! If you're wondering what the Color Ribbon is for a Specific Type of Cancer/Organization/Event, you can do a Google Search and you'll find the one you are looking for!! This SET is going to be SO VERSATILE and it isn't just a Symbol for Breast Cancer although that's probably the one most of us are Familiar with!!

 

I thought it would be FUN to create a Gift Tag that I could attach to a Treat Bag FULL of GOODIES for the Cancer Treatment Center where I'm currently doing my 2nd Round of Chemo Treatments!! I NEVER KNEW just how MUCH these little Treat Bags would come in handy until I started my Treatments Last Fall!! I try to "SPOIL" someone every time I go and in return I get a FUN Package in return for one of my Next Visits!! I used the SWEET Newton's Support Image and Watercolored him using my Distress Inks!! I added some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker to the "Blue Ribbons" and to Parts of Newton and then added some White Gel Pen Freckles to Newton's Cheeks!! I Die Cut a FUN Hero Arts Tag for my Base and the New NND Garden Window Die Cut to Frame him!! Then added one of the Banner Flags also from the Garden Window Die Set and White Heat Embossed my Sentiment!! I Cut it in Half so I could add the rest of the Sentiment along with one of the "Blue Ribbons" on the Inside of my Tag and I REALLY LOVE the way it came together and I CAN'T WAIT to BRIGHTEN someone's Day of Treatments with this!! =)

I thought I'd leave you with some FUN Summer Pictures from our Adventure Yesterday!! =)
The Boys and I spent ALL Morning creating our "OWN" Water Slide Adventure Park Ride!! LOL!!  =) We added a Plastic Pool to the Bottom of the Slide and attached a Hose at the top with a Pump to reuse the Water!! Then we added Stepping Stones so they could get back and forth without Muddy Feet!! Needless to say they had a BLAST and I'm pretty sure this is going to be their FAVORITE Place to be at our house this Summer!! Hope these Pictures make you SMILE as much as they do ME!!??  =)
