Sweet Chocolate Covered Strawberry Sugar Cookies with Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO & HAPPY Friday!!  =)
I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog!! I wanted to share the SWEET Teacher Gifts I've made for Backett and Greyson's Teachers this Year!! If you follow me on my Blog or my Social Media you'll know that I've been making Sugar Cookies with a New Set of Cookie Cutters from Sweet Sugarbelle and American Crafts!! I just LOVE them!! So when I saw the Strawberry Cookie Cutter I just KNEW I had to use it along with the SWEET Newton's Nook Designs Love & Chocolate Stamp Set to create something Sweet for Valentine's Day!!

I've used a Kraft Fruit Container along with some Iridescent Tissue Paper for my Container!! Then I added 4 of the Covered Strawberry Sugar Cookies to each Container!! I Stamped and Embossed the Tag using the Tag Sampler Stamp Set and then Die Cut it out using the Coordination Tags Times Two Die Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Party Pops Stamp Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the Covered Strawberry Image form the Love & Chocolate Stamp Set and then Die Cut it out using the Coordinating Love & Chocolate Die Set!! I used my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers to Color the Strawberry (CR10, CR11 and CR5 for the Strawberry Body, Pear Green Colorista Marker, DC3 and JG6 for the Green Top and IG1, IG2 and IG6 for the Chocolate Coating) I also added some Clear Sparkle Pen over the Top and then added some Black Gel Pen to the Seeds for some extra Dimension!! I LOVE the way I turned out!!  I also Stamped and Embossed a Small Heart from the Darling Duos Stamp Set and Die Cut it out using the coordinating Darling Hearts Die Set!! I wanted a Sweet Bow to add so I Die Cut the Reverse Confetti Layered Bow Die from some Pink and Red Felt and layered it together adding a Vintage Button to the Center of the Bow and my Treats were done!! =) I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way they turned out and I hope I've INSPIRED you to create some SWEET Homemade Treats in a CUTE Container for someone SPECIAL in your Life for Valentine's Day this Year!!

Newton's Nook Designs July Release 3 Year Celebration ~ Party Pops, Pineapple Delight, & Tiki Time!! =)

Today's the SECOND Day of the Newton's Nook Designs July Release and also happens to be the 3rd Anniversary Celebration too!! YIPPEE!! It's going to be an AMAZING Celebration this Week!! FULL of AWESOME New Products and a FUN Blog Hop on Friday with LOTS of chances to WIN!! Who doesn't LOVE LOVE LOVE to WIN!!??  =) I KNOW I DO!! So let's take a look at the Sets we are Showcasing today!! "Party Pops", "Pineapple Delight" and "Tiki Time" Plus the Coordinating Dies for each of these Sets!! SQUEAL!! Let's take a Look at Each of these Sets!!

Okay are these FUN or WHAT!!?? I CAN'T WAIT to share what I've made with these Sets!!
First up, the Party Pops Stamp Set!! I wanted to make a Shaker Card and I used the Coordinating Die Set to create my Shaker Window!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Popsicle Image on the Backing to my Shaker Window using some YUMMY Pink Twinkle Embossing Powder from JudiKins!! (one of those Jennifer McGuire Splurge Purchases that I haven't regretted!! LOL!!  =)  I've linked to a Video that she shared to show how FUN and BEAUTIFUL this stuff is in real life!! Then I added my Acetate and some Pretty Pink Posh Mini Heart Confetti and some Sparkling Clear Seed Beads for my Shaker Filler!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how it turned out and on the inside of my Card I've Die Cut a Spot to hold a Gift Card!! Someone is going to ENJOY getting this SWEET TREAT in the Mail!! =)

 

My Next Card showcases the Pineapple Delight Stamp Set!! There are SO MANY things you can do with these Sets!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the Sentiments and the AWESOME Fonts that Jennifer Jackson did while creating these Sets!! I thought it would be FUN to Create a Drink out of the Pineapple Image!! So I Stamped and Embossed it on top of a Gold Foiled Die Cut using the Coordinating Pineapple Delight Die Set!! I used Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Powders in a Mixture of Tea Dye and Walnut Stain!! If you haven't used these Embossing Powders before they have an AMAZING Texture to them almost like a Fine Sand!! It's AWESOME and in Real Life makes the Pineapple look SO REAL!! =) Then I Inked around the Edges of the Pineapple Die Cut with some Gathered Twigs Distress Ink to make it POP!! I Stamped the Umbrella, and the Hibiscus Flower using my Distress Markers and Coloring right on the Stamps and Stamping onto some Distress Watercolor Paper!! Then I used the Coordinating Dies to Die Cut them all out!! I added them onto an Avery Elle Die Cut Base and then Backed the Circle with the same Gold Foil that I Stamped my Pineapple Image onto!! For my Sentiment I Die Cut the Flag Banner from the NND Garden Window Die Set from some Kraft Cardstock and Stamped and Embossed the Thank You!!  I Inked around the Edges with the same Gathered Twigs Distress Ink to make it POP!! Some Twine was added to the Top of the Card and Tied it in a Bow!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!


For my Last Card I wanted to Create a FUN Tropical Drink Scene!! So I Stamped and Embossed the Tiki Face Images 3 Times using the Walnut Stain Distress Embossing Powder along with some Chestnut American Crafts Embossing Powder!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Texture and in Real Life they look like the Real Carved Wood Tiki Glasses!! SQUEAL!! =) Then I used my Distress Markers to Stamp ALL of the other Images!! I just Colored Directly onto the Images and used my Misti Stamping Tool and Stamped them ALL onto Distress Watercolor Paper!! Then I used the Coordinating Dies to Die Cut them ALL Out!! I used another Fag Banner from the NND Garden Window Die Set to Stamp and Emboss my Sentiment!! I wanted a FUN Sunset Background so I used some Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Dies to Create a Sun Set and a Stitched Base Panel and then used my Distress Inks to Watercolor the Background!! I Layered EVERYTHING together and I have to say, I WANT one of those Drinks!! LOL!! =)
