Sweet Chocolate Covered Strawberry Sugar Cookies with Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO & HAPPY Friday!!  =)
I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog!! I wanted to share the SWEET Teacher Gifts I've made for Backett and Greyson's Teachers this Year!! If you follow me on my Blog or my Social Media you'll know that I've been making Sugar Cookies with a New Set of Cookie Cutters from Sweet Sugarbelle and American Crafts!! I just LOVE them!! So when I saw the Strawberry Cookie Cutter I just KNEW I had to use it along with the SWEET Newton's Nook Designs Love & Chocolate Stamp Set to create something Sweet for Valentine's Day!!

I've used a Kraft Fruit Container along with some Iridescent Tissue Paper for my Container!! Then I added 4 of the Covered Strawberry Sugar Cookies to each Container!! I Stamped and Embossed the Tag using the Tag Sampler Stamp Set and then Die Cut it out using the Coordination Tags Times Two Die Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Party Pops Stamp Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the Covered Strawberry Image form the Love & Chocolate Stamp Set and then Die Cut it out using the Coordinating Love & Chocolate Die Set!! I used my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers to Color the Strawberry (CR10, CR11 and CR5 for the Strawberry Body, Pear Green Colorista Marker, DC3 and JG6 for the Green Top and IG1, IG2 and IG6 for the Chocolate Coating) I also added some Clear Sparkle Pen over the Top and then added some Black Gel Pen to the Seeds for some extra Dimension!! I LOVE the way I turned out!!  I also Stamped and Embossed a Small Heart from the Darling Duos Stamp Set and Die Cut it out using the coordinating Darling Hearts Die Set!! I wanted a Sweet Bow to add so I Die Cut the Reverse Confetti Layered Bow Die from some Pink and Red Felt and layered it together adding a Vintage Button to the Center of the Bow and my Treats were done!! =) I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way they turned out and I hope I've INSPIRED you to create some SWEET Homemade Treats in a CUTE Container for someone SPECIAL in your Life for Valentine's Day this Year!!

Newton's Nook Designs January Release ~ Love & Chocolate!! =)

Happy Tuesday and Welcome to Day 2 of the New Newton's Nook Designs January Release!! Today we're showcasing the New "Love & Chocolate" Stamp Set and the Coordinating "Love & Chocolate" Purr-fect Die Set!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these New Images and think you will too!! Let's take a Look at the FULL Set, Sold Separately and available January 20th, 2017!!   =)

SQUEAL!! =) I told you!! So SWEET Right!!?? I've made two Projects for today!! Let's start with this YUMMY Layered White Chocolate Strawberry Card!!  I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!

 I Started by Die Cutting my Frame!! I used the Delightful Cover Plate Die from Paper Trey Ink in two different colors of Cardstock (Distress Watercolor Paper and Black Cardstock) Then I pieced them together for a FUN look using some Fun Foam to pop up the outside Panel of the Frame for some needed dimension!! Then I Inked up a Background Piece of Distress Watercolor Paper using Tumbled Glass and Hickory Smoke Distress Inks!! I used some Masking Tape to create my Table Top and then I added some Water Splatters for some Texture!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto the Bottom of the Background and then colored the Hearts in with a Red Gel Pen!! I Stamped and Embossed the Images onto Distress Watercolor Paper and used the Coordinating Dies to Die Cut them out!! I used my Distress Inks to Watercolor them and then I added some Black Gel Pen for the Seeds and some Nuvo Morning Dew Drops to the Stand to make it look like a Vintage Depression Glass Dessert Stand!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!!  =) I Popped everything up on some Foam Tape and then adhered it to my Card Base!! I added a Mixture of 10, 8 and 4 mm Sparkling Clear Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh and my Card was done!!

Next I've made a SWEET Little Gift Tag & Box!! PERFECT for Valentine's Day or just for a Thinking of You Gift!! I Found these Little Take out Boxes at Joann's and just HAD to have them!! =) I Stamped and Embossed the Stitched Tag Image from the Tag Sampler Stamp Set onto some Distress Watercolor Paper and then Die Cut it out using the Coordinating Tags Times Two Die Set!! I then Stamped and Embossed the Sweet Chocolate Image onto Distress Watercolor Paper and then Watercolored it using Distress Inks!! I Die Cut it out and Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto the Bottom of the Tag!! Then I adhered the Chocolate Image using Foam Tape!! A Heart, Sequins and some Ribbon finish off my Gift Tag and Box!!  =)
