Newton's Nook Designs November Release 2021 ~ Snow Angel Newton, Snow Angel Puppy & Roll with It!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

 

I'm here with Day 3 of the 

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release 2021!! 

Today we're showcasing the NEW "Snow Angel Newton" Stamp Set + coordinating Snow Angel Newton Die Set,  "Snow Angel Puppy" Stamp Set + coordinating Snow Angel Puppy Die Set and the "Roll with It" Stamp Set!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME NEW Products!!

How ADORABLE are the NEW Stamps!! SQUEAL!! I just LOVE them as making Snow Angels has ALWAYS been one of my FAVORITE activities with my Boys, Nieces and Nephews!! Some of the BEST Memories are made while creating Snow Angels!! 

For my First Card I wanted to create a FUN Spinner Card!! I LOVE to create Interactive Cards especially for the Holidays/Birthdays and I thought this Image would make for a FUN Spinner Card Design!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Image, using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossing with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color in the Image!! 
Newton: E40, E43, E47 & E99      

Cheeks, Inside of Ears and Paw Pads: R11      

Hat & Scarf: N0 & N3   V00, V15 & V09    

BG10, BG45 & BG49     

Then I used the NEW coordinating Snow Angel Newton Die Set to Die Cut the Image out!! I added some White Gel Pen Details to the Image and then added some Ultra Bond Adhesive Pen to areas of the Ground around the Image and applied some Vintage Glass Glitter for the look of Snow Glittering in the Sunlight!! 

Then I worked on the Card Panel Inking with Distress Oxide Ink in Salvaged Patina!! I added some Water Splatters for some Texture and then let the Panel Dry completely!! Once Dry I Die Cut the Large Circle in the Panel after adhering it to a Scalloped Rectangle Frame from the Frames and Flags Die Set!! I Die Cut it from some of the NEW Coffee House Stories Patterned Paper!! Then I Stamped and Embossed several of the Snowflake Images using Versa Mark Ink and Embossed them with some WoW Embossing Bright White Embossing Powder and Heat set them!! I added some Trinity Stamps Fairy Rocks Rhinestones to the center of some of the Snowflakes for some added Sparkle!! Then I Stamped the Sentiment using Distress Ink in Salvaged Patina and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I sandwiched 2 of the Snow Angel Newton Images together (the One I Colored and another I Die Cut from some White Cardstock) with a Piece of Clear Jewelry String in between and then adhered the Top and the Bottom of the Clear Jewelry String behind the Scalloped Frame using some Double Sided Adhesive, making sure the Image was centered in the middle of the Circle Window opening!! I adhered Foam Tape to the back of the Scalloped Frame and then adhered it to the Cardbase lining up the Circle Window openings!! I just LOVE how this turned out and think it would be SO FUN to create an entire Set of these Cards to make for a SPECIAL Teacher, Boss, Coworker of Friend for the Holidays!! EVERY one can use Thank You Cards in their Stash and these are SURE to Bring a SMILE to the recipients Face!! 

For my Second Card I wanted to create a CAS Card using a FUN Action Wobble Spring to make the Snow Angel Puppy Move as though he's creating the Snow Angel in the Snow on the Card Panel!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Image, using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossing with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color in the Image!! 

Puppy: N0, N3, N5 & N8

Then I used the NEW coordinating Snow Angel Newton Die Set to Die Cut the Image out!! I adhered an Action Wobble Spring to the Back Side of the Snow Angel Puppy Image and adhered it to my Card Panel!! 

SQUEAL!! This is another FUN Design PERFECT for sending someone a SMILE!!

Celebrating Shark Week with Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

Who's been ENJOYING SHARK WEEK!!?? We've been LOVING it!! So I thought what better way to CELEBRATE than by making a Card with Newton's Nook Designs featuring their AWESOME Shark Bites Stamp Set  and the coordinating Shark Bites Die Set!!
Here's a look at the Layered Scene Card I Created!!  =)

 

First, I wanted to Create a Layered Scene Card!! If you KNOW me you KNOW I LOVE LOVE LOVE to Create Layered Scene Cards and I had such a FUN Time making this one!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing my Shark Image onto some Distress Watercolor Paper!! Then I used a New NND Sea Borders Die Set to Create the Ocean Background!! I wanted to have an Underwater Scene so I used Distress Inks to Create my Ocean Background!! I Stamped the School of Fish Image using Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink stamped ontop of one another then I covered them with Clearsnaps Clear Embossing Powder!! I used Distress Oxide Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain to create the Sandy Ocean floor Stamping some of the details in Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Ink!! I used the NND Tranquil Tides Stamp Set and the Coordinating NND Tranquil Tides Dies Set to Stamp and Emboss SEVERAL of the Images to Create my Under Water Scene!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how well these Stamp Sets work together!! =) I Splattered some Water onto my Inked Background for some Texture and added some Tonic Studios Aqua Sparkle Pen Spaltters to make the Ocean Shimmer!! SQUEAL!! I just LOVE how it turned out and hope it INSPIRES you to create a Card for Shark Week!!

HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!!
Who's READY for SHARK WEEK!!?? Well we've been SHARING ALL WEEK with Newton's Nook Designs featuring their AWESOME Shark Bites Stamp Set  and the NEW coordinating Shark Bites Die Set on the NND blog with FUN Projects Each Day!! Here's a look at the AMAZING Sets!!  =)

I couldn't just Create One Card so I have a Couple to share today!! First, I wanted to Create an Interactive Card!! If you KNOW me you KNOW I LOVE LOVE LOVE to Create Interactive Cards and I had such a FUN Time making this one!! I Started by Stamping and Embossing my Shark Image onto some Distress Watercolor Paper!! Then I used a Lil' Inker Designs Die Set to Create the Ocean Background!! I wanted to have an Underwater Scene so I used Distress Inks to Create my Ocean Background making the bottom Darker and  Lighter towards the Top!! I Stamped the School of Fish Image using the same Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink and then I used the NND Tranquil Tides Stamp Set and the Coordinating NND Tranquil Tides Dies Set to Stamp and Emboss SEVERAL of the Images to Create my Under Water Scene!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how well these Stamp Sets work together!! =) I Splattered some Water onto my Inked Background for some Texture and then I took the Interactive Slider Die to make my Slider Channel!! SQUEAL!! I just LOVE how the Shark can Swim Up and Down and Spin ALL Around in the Under Water Scene I've Created for Him!!  =)

 For my Second Card I wanted to use the FUN "Hope Your Day Doesn't BITE" Sentiment from the Shark Bites Stamp Set along with the Jumping Shark Image and then I Die Cut it using the Coordinating Shark Bites Die Set!! It ALWAYS makes me SMILE!! So I KNEW I needed to Create a Scene to go along with it!! I decided to Stamp the SWEET Winston Image from the NND Beach Party Stamp Set, along with the Surf Board and the Sea Shell Image!! I used the Lawn Fawn Simple Stitched Hill Side Boarders Die Set for my Beach and then used the Mama Elephant Stitched Waves Die Set for my Waves!! I used Distress Inks applied to Distress Watercolor Paper to Create my Background and then added some Water Splatters for Texture!! I added some Shadowing and then Stamped the School of Fish Image using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to make them look they are underneath the Water!! Some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker was added to SEVERAL of the Images and my Ocean Waves to added some Sparkle!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! =)

TWO FUN Interactive Cards with Mint Owl Studio!! =)

HELLO!!
I'm stopping by today to share a Couple REALLY FUN Interactive Cards that I've made using some NEW Stamps from Mint Owl Studio!! I LOVE to make Interactive Cards and when I saw the "A Pirates Life" Stamp Set and the "Under Construction" Stamp Set I just COULDN'T WAIT to create with them!! Even my Boys have been LOVING these New Sets!! So I started by Stamping and Embossing the Images onto Distress Water Color Paper and then I used my Distress Inks to Water Color them in!! I Fussy Cut them out leaving a Small White Border!! I JUST LOVE the way they turned out and hope you do too!!??
     
For the "Happy Birthday Matey" Card I thought it would be FUN to have the Ship Sailing across the Card!! I wanted to have a Shore Line and then the Ship could Dock or Sail!! SQUEAL!! I'm SO HAPPY with how it turned out!! I used some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker to make the Sails, the Pirate Flag and Pirate's Hat, Gem, Treasure, the X on the Map and the Coconuts!! I LOVE the touch it adds!! I used a Pretty Pink Posh Border Die to Create my Waves and then a Lawn Fawn Slider Die to create the opening for my Slider!! I also used a Lawn Fawn Stitched Border Die for the Shore Line!! I Stamped the Sand Image and several of the Sand Specks using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and then I used a Sponge Daubber to Ink up the Shore using Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink!! For the Sea I used Peacock Feathers and I LOVE the way it looks against the Images!! For the Sky I used Tumbled Glass and Sketchbook and then I took some Water and Splattered it to add in some texture!! For the Shore I wanted even more texture so I Splattered some Black and Gold Acrylic Paint Spots and I really like how it makes it feel like a REAL Beach!!=)
I wanted my Pirate Girl to be holding the Gem so I took an Exacto Knife and cut along her hands and then slipped the Gem in them with a small piece of Foam Tape so it looks Dimensional!! =)
                           

 

 

For the "Congratulations" Card I wanted it to look like the Excavator was Digging and then Loading the Dump Truck and the Dump Truck could Drive off!! I used a Couple Pretty Pink Posh Border Dies to create the "Dig Site"!! I think its PERFECT, Don't You!!?? Then I used a Small Slider Die from MFT too create both of the Slider Openings!! I Stamped and Embossed onto Distress Watercolor Paper and used Distress Inks to Water Color the Images!! I used my NEW Mini Misti Stamping Tool (that I was LUCKY enough to WIN during) Misti Mania!! There's still time to ENTER to WIN one so GO NOW and ENTER!! =)
I was able to Double Stamp and Emboss my Sentiment and Embossed it with both Black and White Embossing Powder!! I used Distress Inks to Create my Backgrounds and then added Water Splatters and some Black, White and Gold Acrylic Paints to add even more texture!! I LOVE the way it adds to the whole Card!!

Newton's Nook Designs May Release ~ Newton's Book Club!! =)

Welcome back to the third day of the May Newton's Nook Designs Release Week!! Today we are showcasing the New "Newton’s Book Club" Stamp Set!! These Images are SO FUN!! I even think they'd work WELL for those End of the Year Teacher Cards you may be making!! =)

Let's take a look at this AWESOME Set!!

Here's the FUN Slider Card I made for today!! SQUEAL!! When I was looking at these Images I thought it would be SO FUNNY to have the Windup Mouse Image "POP" Out from Behind the Stack of Books!! I have a FAMILY FULL of SILLINESS so this made me SMILE!! I've used the MFT Inside & Out Diagonal Stitched Die Set for my Card Base!! I Stamped and Embossed my images onto some Distress Watercolor Paper and then Watercolored them using Distress Inks!! I Stamped and Die Cut the Windup Mouse and the Ball of Yarn from the Newton's Antics Stamp Set and the Coordinating Newton's Antics Die Set!! For the Slider Track I used an MFT Gift Grooves Die Set!! I know this isn't its intended use, but I LOVE the SMALLER size of the track and for Smaller Images its a PERFECT Fit!! Plus, BONUS I'm getting MORE out of my Die Set!! SCORE!!  =)

 

 

I also have another FUN Interactive Card to share using some of the Images from the New Adventure Awaits Stamp Set that was showcased yesterday!! =) I've also used the NND Whispering Pines Stamp Set, the Winged Wishes Stamp Set and the Basket of Wishes Stamp Set!! I've NOTICED that these have been POPULAR and I personally just LOVE that!! =) I've used the Cover Up: Tribal Chic by Lil' Inker Designs for my Card Base!! To Create the FUN Interactive Slider I used a Paper Trey Ink Movers & Shakers: Sliders Die Set!! I've had this Die Set for several years and I've used it only a hand full of times!! I'm thinking I'm going to be using this ALOT MORE!! =) Now beings I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Shaker Cards I thought it would be AWESOME to add that Element to this Card using this Die Set!! It wasn't intended for that use, but it was SO EASY to adapt it!! I just created an opening in my Card Front where the Outside Slider Portion goes and added my Acetate Shaker Pocket underneath the Card Front Panel!! SQUEAL!! Two of my FAVORITE things ALL in ONE SWEET Card!! =) I've used some Lawn Fawn Inks in (Plastic Flamingo, Merman and Sugar Plum) I've used Pretty Pink Posh Sequins in Several Colors and Shapes for my Shaker Window!! (4mm Fairytale Fuchsia Sequins, 4mm Lavender Moon Sequins, Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix, and Iridescent Mini Star Confetti)

My Next Projects are the SWEETEST Little Tee Pee Treat Boxes!!

SQUEAL!! These just make me SO HAPPY!! =)

I've used the New Adventure Awaits Stamp Set and the New Points & Plumes Die Set!!  

Plus the NND Tag Sampler Stamp Set and the Coordinating Tag Times Two Die Set!! I've used the Make a Bunny Die Set from Lil' Inker Designs for the Sweet Tee Pee Treat Box!! I Die Cut one from Oatmeal WPlus 9 Cardstock and another from some DCWV Canvas Paper!! Both options are SO FUN!! =) I added the Stamped Designs before folding the Boxes up and then I used the Dual Stitched Triangle Die Set to create the Tee Pee Opening!! I Die Cut first into the Box Base to create the Stitching for around the Opening and another Single Triangle to create the Opening for that 3-D Design!! I REALLY LOVE the way they turned out!! =)

 Just for FUN I wanted to share a Picture of my Boys!! Beckett had his LAST Day of Third Grade yesterday and I just CAN'T Believe it!! SUMMER Break is here, yet with the weather it still feels like Winter!! =) Greyson is 3 and he just ADORES his "BIG" Brother!! He's EXCITED to have him HOME to PLAY with ALL Day!! =) I'm SO BLESSED!!
