HELLO & HAPPY FRIDAY!!
Who's
READY for
SHARK WEEK!!?? Well we've been
SHARING ALL WEEK with
Newton's Nook Designs featuring their AWESOME Shark Bites Stamp Set and the NEW coordinating Shark Bites Die Set on the NND blog with FUN Projects Each Day!! Here's a look at the AMAZING Sets!! =)
I couldn't just
Create One Card so I have a
Couple to
share today!!
First, I wanted to
Create an
Interactive Card!! If you
KNOW me you
KNOW I
LOVE LOVE LOVE to
Create Interactive Cards and I had such a
FUN Time making this one!! I
Started by
Stamping and
Embossing my
Shark Image onto some
Distress Watercolor Paper!! Then I used a Lil' Inker Designs
Die Set to
Create the
Ocean Background!! I
wanted to have an
Underwater Scene so I used
Distress Inks to
Create my
Ocean Background making the bottom
Darker and
Lighter towards the
Top!! I
Stamped the
School of Fish Image using the same
Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink and then I used the
NND Tranquil Tides Stamp Set and the Coordinating
NND Tranquil Tides Dies Set to
Stamp and
Emboss SEVERAL of the
Images to
Create my
Under Water Scene!! I just
LOVE LOVE LOVE how well these
Stamp Sets work together!! =) I
Splattered some
Water onto my
Inked Background for some
Texture and then I took the
Interactive Slider Die to
make my
Slider Channel!!
SQUEAL!! I just
LOVE how the
Shark can
Swim Up and
Down and
Spin ALL Around in the
Under Water Scene I've
Created for
Him!! =)
For my
Second Card I wanted to use the
FUN "Hope Your Day Doesn't BITE" Sentiment from the
Shark Bites Stamp Set along with the
Jumping Shark Image and then I
Die Cut it using the Coordinating
Shark Bites Die Set!! It
ALWAYS makes me
SMILE!! So I
KNEW I
needed to
Create a
Scene to go along with it!! I decided to
Stamp the
SWEET Winston Image from the
NND Beach Party Stamp Set, along with the
Surf Board and the
Sea Shell Image!! I used the
Lawn Fawn Simple Stitched Hill Side Boarders Die Set for my Beach and then used the
Mama Elephant Stitched Waves Die Set for my Waves!! I used Distress Inks applied to Distress Watercolor Paper to Create my Background and then added some Water Splatters for Texture!! I added some Shadowing and then Stamped the School of Fish Image using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to make them look they are underneath the Water!! Some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker was added to SEVERAL of the Images and my Ocean Waves to added some Sparkle!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! =)
