HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

 

I'm here with Day 1 of the 

Newton's Nook Designs April Release 2022!! 

Today we're showcasing the NEW "Cycling Friends" Stamp Set + coordinating Cycling Friends Die Set and the Tree Line Stencil!!

Let's take a look at the AWESOME NEW Products!!

SQUEAL!! Such AWESOME New Products for today!! 
Here's what I've Created for today!! 

For my First Card I wanted to create a FUN Scene using the NEW "Cycling Friends" Stamp Set!! I LOVE the Idea of the Critters riding along to bring a SPECIAL Delivery to a SWEET Friend!! So I decided to create the Scene in Motion!! By Cutting off part of the Image on the Left Hand Side of the Card it makes the Image feel as though it really is Moving across the Card Front!! I Stamped and Embossed the Images with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WOW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! 

Then I Colored the Images using Copic Markers!! 
Kitten: E40, E43, E99 & E47     Puppy: E30, E33 & E37      Inside of Ears: R00  Black: N08, N06 & N3
Coral: R00, R14 & R32     Yellow: Y11, Y15 & YR23  
Lavender: V00, V15 & V09     Basket: E33, E37 & E39    Green: YG11 & G28 
I Die Cut the Images out and I added White Gel Pen Highlights and some Glitter Pen for some Sparkle!! Then I inked the Background with Salvaged Patina and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Inks!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment on Cardstock using WoW Bright White Embossing Powder and then Inked the second part of the sentiment in Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink!! I Stamped the Happy Birthday Sentiment on the Inside of the Card again using Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink and I LOVE how it turned out!! A few Trinity Stamp Fairy Rock Rhinestones were added to finish off the Design with a little added Sparkle!!  

For my Second Card using the NEW Tree Line Stencil I created a CAS Card that could be created in MANY Color Combinations and for ANY Occasion just by changing the Sentiment!! I LOVE to create Cards Like this for Gift Sets as the Design is EASY to Mass Produce!! 

I Started by spraying the back side of the Stencil with Therm O Web Pixie Spray!! Then I adhered the Stencil over my Card Panel and Placed the Stencil pressing it firmly into place!! Then I masked off any of the open Stencil areas with Tape!! Then I Inked with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink!! 

I then Placed the Tree Trunk part of the Stencil over the Tree Base Ink portion and again pressed it firmly into place and Masked off the open areas of the Stencil with Tape!! Then I Inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink!! 

Lastly I placed the Leaves portion of the Stencil over the Inked Tree Base and again pressed it firmly into place and Masked off the open areas of the Stencil with Tape!! Then I inked with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink!! 

 SWOON!! I REALLY LOVE the Simple and Clean Design!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the "Thinking of You" Sentiment with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I added a Few Trinity Stamps Fairy Rock Rhinestones for some Sparkle and then I Die Cut a Frames & Flags Scalloped Panel from some of the NND Paper!! I adhered it to my Cardbase and my Card is ready to send!!
