Hibiscus Layered Stencil Thanks You Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Happy Friday!! Today I'm here sharing a Card I made using the AMAZING two piece Hibiscus Stencil Set. The two piece stencils have etching of the opposite layer on them which makes them easy to line up and use with multiple colors or mediums. To achieve the stunning effect on this card, I used Green Grass Glitz Glitter Gel by Gina K Designs and mixed it with some White Pearl Metallix Gel along with a couple drops of Distress Oxide Ink Refill in Lucky Clover to create my own custom color!! I used this Gel for the stencil layer that has the leaves. Using some Pixie Spray and the Stencil Pal both by Therm O Web really make it easy to apply!! Then I switched to the stencil that has the flowers and used Deco Foil Transfer Gel then set it aside to Dry and once dry I wanted to add Gold Deco Foil to the Steam-in, so cut little piece of Gold Deco Foil and laid them over the Dry Gel then I applied some White Latte Deco Foil Flocking over the entire piece by running it through my Laminating Machine!!  SWOON!! When you remove the Flocking sheet you'll see that the Foil adhered only where it was placed and the rest was Flocked!! After I finished the foiling and flocking I lined up the flower stencil layer a second time and added Distress Ink in Seedless Preserves using an Ink Dauber over the flocked flowers to give them their lovely color!! I Concentrated the Darker Color towards the center of the Flower!! 

Once this gorgeous panel was created, I framed it with a scalloped edge border using the Frames & Flags Die Set. Then I stamped the "thank you" sentiment from the Peony Blooms Stamp Set and cut it out using the stitched circles from our Frames Squared Die Set to layer over the background. To finish off the Flowers I added some Studio Katia Gold Pearls!! I LOVE the way they finish them off!! 

Here are some close-up photos so you can see the sparkle and texture of this Technique!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE these NEW Stencils and I just LOVE all of the possibilities you have when using them with several mediums together for a one of a kind Design!! 

I hope I've given you some ideas on ways to use the NEW Layering Hibiscus Stencil!! Think of ALL of the products you may have laying around in your stash!! NOW you have a FUN reason to get them out and Create with them!!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Spring Release Week ~ Trellis Cover Fri-Die!!

Welcome to Day 4 of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Spring Release Week!!
Today we're showcasing the NEW Trellis Cover Fri-Die!!
SQUEAL!! How CUTE is this Set!!?? I just LOVE ALL of the possibilities!!

I wanted to showcase the dimension of this Die Cut it you want to showcase it!!?? I personally LOVE dimension, so I KNEW I wanted to highlight it!! I Started by Die Cutting the NEW Trellis Die from some Tonic Studios Pearl Damask Handmade Paper!! SWOON!! It's HARD to see in the photos, but this paper really makes this Die Design come to LIFE in person!! I adhered the Die Cut to my Tumbled Glass Distress Inked Background using liquid adhesive and I only applied it to the main lines of the die so I could POP the other areas up!! 

I adhered a Studio Katia Iridescent Crystal in the middle of every Flower and I just LOVE the way it looks!! For my sentiment I Die Cut 5 of the Hello Die Cuts from the NEW  "Sweet Friends" Fri-Die Set!! Then I adhered them together one on top of the other Inking the Top one with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for an Ombre` look!! I Die Cut a Stitched Circle and Inked in the Center with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then Stamped and Embossed the Friend Sentiment from the Foxy Stamp Set!! I adhered the Circle to my card using Foam Tape!!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Spring Release Week ~ 5 NEW Stencils!!

Welcome to Day 2 of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Spring Release Week!!
Today we're showcasing the NEW Stencils!! There are 5 NEW Designs ~ Curtis Stencil, Starlequin Stencil, Tin Roof Stencil, Modern Petals Stencil and Bold Trellis Stencil!! 
SQUEAL!! Aren't they AWESOME!!?? I just LOVE ALL of the possibilities and the AMAZING Designs!! 

I've used the BEAUTIFUL Tin Roof Stencil to Ink onto some White Cardstock with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink!! Then I used Spun Sugar Distress Ink for a Tone on Tone look!! I Die Cut an Inside Out Stitched Circle for a Window and Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment from the Peaceful Garden Stamp Set at the bottom of the Card!!

I wanted a BEAUTIFUL Floral Cluster for the Left hand side of the Window so I Die Cut White Cardstock and used Distress Inks to Ink them!! I used the Garden Fri-Dies!! Scatter Straw and Carved Pumpkin were used for the Flowers, Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry for the little Blooms, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the Leaves!! Then I added some Studio Katia Irridescent Crystals for the center of the Larger Flowers and scattered a few around the Cluster!! I used Blizzard Glitter Nuvo Drops for the Center of the Little Blooms and thing the Sparkle finishes of the Designs!! I adhered the Panel to a Die Cut Scalloped Frame Die Cut from some Lawn Fawn Patterned Paper with Foam Tape for some Dimension and I LOVE the way it turned out!! 

I've used the BEAUTIFUL Starlequin Stencil to Ink onto some White Cardstock with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink!! Then I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for a Tone on Tone look!! I Die Cut an Inside Out Stitched Circle for a Window and Stamped and Embossed my Sentiment from the BushyTailed Stamp Set inside the Stenciled Window!!

I started by creating my background!! I LOVE Distress Oxide Inks for my Backgrounds to make my Images POP!! I've used Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks!! Water droplets add even more texture!!  I Stamped and Embossed the Word Ribbon in WoW White Embossing Powder and Die Cut the Ruffled Ribbon!!  I used Spun Sugar Distress Oxide to Ink the Ribbon and then added some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Splatters and layered it with some Garden Fri Dies that I also Inked with Distress Oxide Inks!! I added some Studio Katia Iridescent Crystals to the background for Sparkle and to keep your eye moving across the Card!! I Stamped and Embossed the BEAUTIFUL Sentiment from the Supercalifragilistic Stamp Set on a Vellum Banner and adhered it to my Card!!

Newton's Nook Designs July Release and 5 Year Celebration ~ "Narly Mermaids", "Purr-maid Newton", and "Mantatee-rific" + 2 NEW Stencils!!

                  SQUEAL!!

                   I'm here with Day 1 of the 

               Newton's Nook Designs July Release 2018!! 

                            Today we're showcasing the NEW  

       "Narly Mermaids", "Purr-maid Newton", and "Mantatee-rific" + coordinating dies and 2 NEW Stencils!!

                  Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!

I've used several images from the "Narly Mermaids" Stamp Set along with Images from "Mantatee-rific" and "Purr-maid Newton" to stamp and emboss my own background!! I added some ColoriQue Black Diamond Ink Splatters to add some texture!! Die Cut a Stitched Heart Die Cut from some Distress Watercolor Paper using s SSS Die and inked it up using Tumbled Glass Distress Inks!! Water droplets add some texture!! Added some iCraft 3-D Foam Squares to POP the Heart up off the Card Front and adhered the Mermaid using more Foam Squares!! A Star Fish was add to her hair and a Fish and Stamped and Embossed Sentiment!! A few Studio Katia Crystal add the perfect finishing touch!! 

I started with my background!! I inked up my Card Front with Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio!! I LOVE the color they make together!! Then added some Water droplets for texture!! Then I used the NEW Sea Shell Stencil and applied some Therm O Web Transfer Gel!! Set it aside to Dry and then applied some Therm O Web Deco Foil in Opal!! It reminds me of the BEAUTIFUL Abalone Shells!! So Striking in real life!! I Stamped and Embossed the Image and used Copic Markers to Color it!! I applied some Nuvo Sparkle Pen over the Shells and Tail and Nuvo Drops to them for some texture!! A Sea Shell to her Ear and some Studio Katia Crystals finish it off!!
