HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm here today to share a Congratulations Card that I've made for a Friend who just purchased their First Home!! I'm in LOVE with the NEW Poppystamps Proper Brick House Craft Die, so I had to use it for my Card today!! I'm also linking up to the Poppystamps Challenge #71 Heat Wave!! 

I Die Cut the Proper Brick House Die from some TE Sea Salt Cardstock, and some Earl Grey Card Stock and then I used Distress Oxide Inks to ink it up!! I used Gathered Twigs, Persimmon, Dried Marigold and Hickory Smoke and I LOVE the way it turned out!! I also Inked another piece of Cardstock for behind the Die Cut I wanted the Layered Looks, so I left some of the Bricks in the Die Cut and removed others!! I inked the Early Grey Cardstock that I used for the Frames and the Rook using some Hickory Smoke and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink!! I Die Cut the inside of the Windows from some White Cardstock and Inked them with some Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink and then added some Midas Touch Glitter Pen and coated them with some Nuvo Drops to make them look like Glass Windows!! I LOVE the way they Shimmer and Shine in the light!! 

I Die Cut some Grass for the Background and then Inked the Background with some Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Inks and added some water splatters!! I LOVE the way that the HOT Sun is Shinning from behind the House almost making it appear ILLUMINATED!! I think that goes along with the Challenge along with the Warm Colors that I used!!

Poppystamps Challenge #13 - Trick or Treats!!

Well its been awhile since I've posted, but I was able to create some today and I decided it would be FUN to Play along with the Poppystamps Challenge #13 - Trick or Treats!! I started with the 1221 Stitched Landscape Border Die Set!! I then decided to Die Cut the                           I used the 1254 Alpine House Collection Die Set along with the coordinating 1265 Alpine House Roofs and Backgrounds Die Set!! I wanted to make the underneath Light Layer Shimmery and to look more like Glass!! So I used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Marker and then coated it with some Clear Embossing Powder!! I LOVE the way it turned out and looks once it was layered with all of the other Layers!! I also thought it would be FUN to add a Red Front Door so I cut an extra house and added the Door!! I Inked around the Edges and the Windows for added depth and detail!! I layered the Trees and the Fence and then Die Cut some of the Pumpkins to add by the Front door of the House!! I cut a Moon with a Glittered 31 in it from some Patterned Paper and then added that to a Patterned Paper Background that I covered with some Vellum to make it alittle less harsh!! I hope you like it, because I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out and it felt SO GOOD to be able to create something!!


* A PERSONAL UPDATE!! *
Things have BEEN SO CRAZY here!! If you follow me on any of my Social Media sites you already know that I have been Diagnosed with Rectal Adenocarcinoma Stage 2 or Early 3 because I have a Few Lymph Nodes that are Inflamed!! Which at my age is SUPER RARE!! UUGGHH, go figure that I'd be one of the "LUCKY", 0.05% or (1 out of 2,000) people to have this type of Cancer at my Age!!  =( What can I say except that I am SO BLESSED that it was found early and HOPEFULLY with my team of AMAZING Heath Care Providers I'll also be able to say that I'm one of the "LUCKY" Survivors of  this type of Rare Cancer too!!?? Time will tell as I have started my Treatments!! I KNOW its NOT going to be FUN, but I keep telling myself I can make it through this!! My first Stage of this Battle will be 8 Weeks of Chemo and Radiation Therapy!! I'll be getting Treatments 5 Days a Week for ALL 8 Weeks!! Then I'll have 8 Weeks off to rest and then I'll have a Radical Surgery and then another 8 Weeks off to heal!! Then at that point we'll reevaluate where my Cancer is and I'll be doing more Chemo!! Hopefully NOT as much, but it could be another 8 Weeks of Chemo Treatments!! FEW!! That just SCARES me thinking about it ALL!! I'm trying to just think about EACH Step though and making it through each one as they come!! The GOOD thing to look forward too is that I'll be ending my First Stage right around the time of Beckett's Christmas Break from School!! So I'll be able to just Rest and ENJOY the Holidays with my Family and NOT having to do ANY Treatments!! =) That will be SUCH A BLESSING!! =) I'll be sharing updates occasionally and I TRULY APPRECIATE ALL of your THOUGHTS and PRAYERS!! More than you'll EVER KNOW!!

Kitty Cat Face Pumpkin Felt Candle Wrap w/ Poppystamps!! =)

HELLO!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Poppystamps Challenge #11 ~ The Heat is on!! With the Changes in the Weather and Fall coming I'm READY for all that comes with it!! I've been wanting to create some Felt Candle Wraps for awhile now!! I used the New Poppystamps Kitty Cat Face Die and I Die Cut it from SEVERAL Layers of Felt and wanted to create a Pumpkin that was Carved with the Kitty at Face and then Lite Up from the Inside creating a WARM Glow!! Hence the Challenge "The Heat Is On"!!  =) I used the Memory Box Stitched Circle Dies and then a Poppystamps Leaf Die Cut from the Wreath Die!! I created a Resin Vintage Paper layer for the Translucent backing for my Kitty Cat Face and this is the COOLEST Paper EVER!! I Coated the Vintage Book Paper with Ice Resin and then let it set up!! It Hardens and becomes Translucent so you can see through it!! It can be used for SO MANY NEAT things too!! I added some Gold Metallic Stitching around the Circles using my Sewing Machine and added a Button and some Burlap Twine to finish it off!! SQUEAL!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!! My Candle is a LED Glitter Candle from Hobby Lobby!! They came in a Set of Three so I think I'm gonna have to create a couple more of these with different Carvings!!??  =)
I have SEVERAL others in the works using LOTS of different Dies and I CAN'T WAIT to share them and give them away as Gifts as I have LOTS of FALL Birthdays to Celebrate!! =)

Poppystamps Challenge #10 ~ A Day In the Park/ Card #2 A Foxy Vacation!! =)

Hello!!
I'm stopping in to share another Card that I've made for the Poppystamps Challenge #10 ~ A Day In the Park!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE these Challenges!! I started by Inking my Background with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then I added some Tumbled Glass Distress Stain Splatters and some Water Droplets to create a FUN Water Colored Background!! I Stamped and Embossed my Images from the[CL402] PoppyStamps A Fox Tale Stamp Set onto some Distress Water Color Paper and then used a Couple Different Colors to Water Color all of the Images!! I then Fussy Cut them out and used a Black Soot Distress Marker to go around the Edges of them to make them Clean!! I created a FUN Scene by Die Cutting several of the [1221] PoppyStamps Stitched Landscapes Die Set and then I created a Couple Rows of Trees using the PoppyStamps Tree Border Die!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!

PoppyStamps Challenge #10 ~ A Day In the Park!! =)

Hello!!
Hope you had an AWESOME Weekend!!?? We sure did and we have our County Fair All this Week!! Beckett will be showing his Bottle Calf "Rosie" on Friday!! (Here he is with his other Calf "Bullseye"!!) When we are working wit them especially on the HOT Days of Summer they can get REALLY HOT so we ALWAYS take them and Hose them down afterwards!! They LOVE their Bath Time!! =) Then we Spray them with Fly Spray after we Comb their Hair!! Its sounds FUNNY, but doing this with them all Spring/Summer actually makes their Hair Grow and it becomes SO SOFT!! The day of the Show they will get Shampooed, Blown Out with a Blow Dryer and all Styled Up!! I LOVED Showing as a Kid (8-18yrs.) and I'm hoping the Boys will too!!?? Not only does it teach Responsibility, but it teaches so MANY other Lessons (too MANY to List here)!! 4-H is AMAZING!!

This will be his First Year Showing so I'm hoping it will be a GREAT Show!!?? He's SO EXCITED and with ALL of the other Events going on we're going to BUSY!! =)

I'm stopping in to share a card I've made for the Poppystamps Challenge #10 ~ A Day In the Park!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE this theme and there are SO MANY ways to create for this theme too!! I have ALWAYS LOVED the BEAUTIFUL Flowers that can be found in most Parks!! I could just Spend ALL DAY LOOKING and SMELLING them!! Along with ENJOYING ALL of the AMAZING Butterflies and the Flying Bees that can usually be found ENJOYIG the BEAUTIFUL Flowers too!! =) I decided to use the [1188] DIES- Garden Bouquet Die that I WON during the Poppystamps Challenge #8!!
  
I created ALL of my own Water Colored Distress WaterColor Papers using my Distress Inks in ALL of the Colors that I needed!! Then I Die Cut ALL of my Images from my Custom WaterColor Papers!! I LOVE how these turned out!! I thought it would be FUN to Layer the Flowers so I Layered them Die Cutting the Corner Base Image from Green and then I Die Cut Two of each of the Flowers using the Separate Flower Dies!! I then thought there needed to be One more Layer so I used the [1192] DIES- Johnny Jump Ups Dies!! I Die Cut One of each Color using the Smallest Flower!! Then I added some White Flower Sequins to the Centers to finish them off!! =) I knew I wanted to create a Shaker Card so I used the AWESOME Memory Box Cross Stitched Frames Borders and the Memory Box Cross Stitched Frames!! I added the Acetate and used some Crystal Clear Sequins and some Prima Crystal Beads!! For the Sentiment I used the [1118] DIES- Fancy Thanks Die and Die Cut it from the same Distress Water Color Paper!! I Glued it to the Front of the Shaker and I LOVE the way it turned out!!

I'm stopping in to share the Card I've made for the PoppyStamps Challenge #9 ~ Oh Boy!!
I was SO EXCITED when I saw the New Stamps and Die Collections that they just Released and just had to have the "A Fox Tale Stamp Set"!! I started by Inking my Background with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then I added some Tumbled Glass Distress Stain Splatters and some Water Droplets to create a FUN Water Colored Background using the Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers Die Set to create a Mask for my Focal Point!! I Stamped and Embossed my Images from the[CL402] PoppyStamps A Fox Tale Stamp Set onto some Distress Water Color Paper and then used a Couple Different Colors to Water Color all of the Images using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers!! I then Fussy Cut them out and used a Black Soot Distress Marker to go around the Edges of them to make them Clean!! I created a FUN Scene by Stamping the Swing and then adding the Fox Image on it as if he were Swinging!! SQUEAL!! Isn't he the Cutest!!?? I also used the [1115] PoppyStamps Jumbled Thanks Die to create a Sentiment and I layered it with an Acetate Sheet to create a FUN Shaker Window Element using the Negative Space from the Sentiment!! I used some Coarse Crystal Glitter from Martha Stewart as the Shaker Filler and I LOVE the way it turned out!!

PoppyStamps Challenge #9 ~ Oh Boy A Foxy Hello Card!!

I'm stopping in to share the Card I've made for the PoppyStamps Challenge #9 ~ Oh Boy!!
I was SO EXCITED when I saw the New Stamps and Die Collections that they just Released and just had to have the "A Fox Tale Stamp Set"!! I would LOVE to have the Coordinating Dies and the Sentiment Stamps, but it just isn't possible with my Crafting Budget!! That's okay though because I DON'T Mind Fussy Cutting and these Images are pretty easy to manage!! I also wanted to try out the New Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers that I had gotten!! Now I DON'T have the Budget for a WHOLE set of these either, but I did get a Few to try out in my MOST used Colors when they were having a 25% off Sale and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! There is a Learning Curve with these just as there is with ANY New Color Medium that you just start to use, but I'm LOVING them and I think once my Budget Allows, I will be ADDING to my SMALL Collection!! =) I started by Inking my Background with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and then I added some Tumbled Glass Distress Stain Splatters and some Water Droplets to create a FUN Water Colored Background!! I Stamped and Embossed my Images from the[CL402] PoppyStamps A Fox Tale Stamp Set onto some Distress Water Color Paper and then used a Couple Different Colors to Water Color all of the Images!! I then Fussy Cut them out and used a Black Soot Distress Marker to go around the Edges of them to make them Clean!! I created a FUN Scene but Die Cutting two of the [1221] PoppyStamps Stitched Landscapes Die Set and then I created some Trees using the[1224] PoppyStamps Stick Trees and the [1225] PoppyStamps Stick Trees Tops Die Sets!! I used the Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers Die Set to create both my Window and the FUN Burlap Frame!! I also used the Memory Box Hello Script Die to create a Sentiment and I layered it with a Black Die Cut to create a Drop Shadow and I LOVE the way it turned out!!
