I'm here with Day 1 of the
Today we're showcasing the NEW
"Blooming Botanicals" Stamp Set + "Framework" Die Set!!
Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Products!!
I LOVE the Card I've created for today!! The New "Framework" Die Set makes for a FUN way to be able to showcase your images!! I've Die Cut several (6) of the Frames from Gina K Designs Black Onyx Cardstock and stacked them together to create a Layered Frame!! Then in order to create a Floating center I Embossed the Frame Image onto some Gina K Designs White Cardstock and Cut around the edges to cut it out!! I then placed the Newton's Nook Designs Essential Alphabet Dies onto the Frame Spelling the word "THANKS"!! I used Purple Tape to hold them in place and ran it through my Die Cutting Machine!! Then I Glued the Die Cut Embossed Frame onto the Top of the Layered Frames and Die Cut one more Frame from Black Cardstock to FINISH off the Window and Glued it to the Top of the Die Cut Embossed Panel!! That way the Die Cut Frame is Strong enough to be layered over the Card Front with needing to place foam tape behind it!! (You could also easily turn this same Design into a Shaker Card if you wanted just by adding some Acetate behind the Die Cut Letters!!)
For the Card Front I Stamped and Embossed the New "Blooming Botanicals" Stamp Set twice!! I Created a Mask for the Side Edge of the the Design so I could layer the Images together seamlessly without a gap in the Design!! I LOVE the way it looks and it would make for a BEAUTIFUL Card Design all on its own!! ;)
I then Colored the Center of the Images in with Copic Markers!! I coated them with some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen and adhered the Frame down using some Strong Therm O Web Tape!! A Few Pretty Pink Posh Sequins finishes off my Design!!
