Hello Crafty Friends!!

I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today with a BEAUTIFUL Infinity Shaker Card using several of my FAVORITE Newton's Nook Designs Products!! I don't know about you, but I'm LONGING for Spring and this Card has me counting down the days for the First Tulips to Bloom!! Let's get Started!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Tulips, Butterfly and Sentiment from the Tulips Stamp Set!! I Stamped with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color the Images!! 
Yellow: Y00, Y13 & YR23       Green: YG61, YG63 & YG67
Purple: V00, V15 & V09        Grey: N0 & N3
Then I used the Coordinating Tulips Die Set to Die Cut the Images out!! I used a White Gel Pen to add some Highlights to the Images!! 

Next I created the Infinity Shaker Card Panel!! I Die Cut the Patterned Paper from some of the Spring Blooms Paper Pad and then added the Infinity Shaker Pouch using Double Sided Adhesive leaving the top of the Shaker Pouch open in order to add the Shaker Embellishments!! I added several Embellishments that coordinated and closed the Top of the Shaker Pouch!! SQUEAL!! I just LOVE Shaking infinity Shakers, makes my Heart HAPPY!! 

Next I created the Tulip Focal Point by Die Cutting some Patterned Paper from the Springtime Paper Pad using the Oval Frames Die Set!! Then I Die Cut some White Cardstock for the center of the Oval Frame again using the Oval Frames Die Set!! I inked the Center of the White Cardstock Oval with some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and then adhered the Tulips Image using some Foam Tape for some Dimension!! I adhered the Butterfly and some Fairy Rocks Rhinestones for some added Sparkle!! Last I adhered the Sentiment with some Foam Tape and then adhered the Oval Scallop Frame onto the Infinity Shaker Card Base!! 

So there you have it, a BEAUTIFUL Infinity Shaker Card using several of my FAVORITE Newton's Nook Designs Products!! I LOVE how well the different Patterned Papers work together and those Tulips are so FUN to Color!! I hope this has you as EXCITED about those First Spring Tulip Blooms as I am!!??

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

Welcome to Day 1 of the Newton's Nook Designs May Release!! Toady we are Showcasing the NEW Fireflies Hot Foil Plates and Dies, Jar Hot Foil Plate & Die, Bright Sentiments Hot Foil Plates and Banner Duo Die Set!!

Here's a Look at the NEW Products!! 

SQUEAL!! I'm so EXCITED to share these NEW Hot Foil Products with you today!! If you follow me then you know that Foiling is one of my FAVORITE Techniques and I can't wait to share what I've created for today!! 

 I wanted to create a FUN Infinity Shaker Card, showing how you can use your Hot Foil Plates to Hot Foil onto Heat Resistant Acetate!! I LOVE the look and the Jar is the PERFECT Image as they are usually See Threw in real Life too!! So I started by Hot Foiling the Jar on the Center of my Acetate Card Panel!! 

I also Hot Foiled SEVERAL of the Fireflies using some Therm O Web Gold Hot Foil!! Then used the coordinating Dies to Die Cut them all out!! I also Hot Foiled the Sentiment and Die Cut it out using the coordinating Banner Duo Die Set!! 

Then I created the Card Panel and Inked with some Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink and added some Water Splatters along with some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and Metallic Gold Splatters for some added Texture!! 

I then placed the Acetate Card Panel over the Inked Card Panel and used my Sewing Machine to Stitch them together on 3 Sides, leaving the Top open so I could add my Shaker Elements!! I added the Shaker Elements and the Hot Foiled and Die Cut Fireflies and then Stitched the top of the Panel together!! 

I adhered a Firefly and the Sentiment Banner to the top of the Acetate Panel with some Double Sided Adhesive and then Die Cut the Frames and Flags Scalloped Rectangle from some NND Halloween Woofs Patterned Paper!!  Adhered it to an A2 Cardbase and my FUN Infinity Shaker Card is ready to be ENJOYED by the recipient!! I just LOVE shaking all of the elements around in this Playful Design!!

Thank You Card w/ Spellbinders!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

I'm here today to share a Card using Spellbinders March Stitching Die of the Month~ Nested Layered Stitched Petal!! SWOON!! I LOVE this Die Set as there are SO MANY ways to use it!! If you follow me, then you KNOW that I LOVE to create Shaker Cards and I really wanted to show how you can create an Infinity Shaker Card even with the Stitched Die Cuts!! 

I also LOVE Daisies, so I've incorporated the Beautiful Daisies from the NEW Umbrella Bloom Etched Die Set!!
I Die Cut the Main portion of the Nested Layered Stitched Petal Die from some Spellbinders Indigo Cardstock and then I Stitched the Design with some Light Seagreen 964  Included in the Spellbinders DMC Color Essentials Floss Bundle that matches the Spellbinders Waterfall Cardstock that I used for the Die Cut and Pierced Background Panel!! 

Once everything was Stitched then I Die Cut the Beautiful Daisies from the NEW Umbrella Bloom Etched Die Set using some Spellbinders Snowdrift Cardstock for the Flowers and some Spellbinders Peridot Cardstock for the Leaves!! I adhered all of the Flowers to the center of the Stitching using some Therm O Web Zots Bling Adhesive Dots!! Then I adhered some Trinity Stamps Lumionous Yellow Baubles to the Center of all of the Daisies as well as the Large openings in the Center of the Pierced Design!! 

Next I created the Infinity Shaker Card Panel adhering the Die Cut and Pierced Background Panel that was Stamped with the the "Thank You" Sentiment in some Navy Ink, to some Snowdrift Cardstock and then using a Waffle Flower Infinity Shaker Panel to adhere to the Panel, leaving the Top open so I could add ALL of my BEAUTIFUL Shaker Elements!! I added some Iridescent Mini Butterfly (24 Color/Set 3D Butterfly Nail Glitter Sequins) along with some Taylored Expressions Tiny Diamonds-Pastel and some Sequins in White, Navy (both Matte and Metallic)!! I Closed the Top of the Panel and the Infinity Shaker is READY to SHAKE!! I LOVE the Mix and the Sparkle, Shine and Playfulness it adds to the Card Design!!

I Adhered the Stitched Panel to the top of the Infinity Shaker Panel and the Card Panel was adhered to a White Cardstock A2 Cardbase!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! 

So there you have it a BEAUTIFUL Infinity Shaker Card using the Spellbinders March Stitching Die of the Month-Nested Layered Stitched Petal!! I LOVE this set as there are SO MANY ways to use them!!
