I'm joining in on the FUN 9th Birthday Celebration over on the Taylored Expressions Blog!!
I've created this Card following the terrific sketch that is part of the birthday festivities -- it's a cool challenge that could give you the chance to win!!  =)

Here's the Card I've created for the Challenge!!

I went for a Fall theme as Fall is in the Air!!  =)  I've used the Bushel of Blessings Stamp Set!! I just LOVE these Images!! I Stamped them using Taylored Expressions Chocolate Truffle Ink and beings it's Copic Marker friendly, I used Copic Markers to Color in the Images!! I wanted a Small Sentiment to go on the Image, after looking through my TE Stash I decided on the "Give Thanks" Sentiment from the Pee-a-Boo Pumpkins Stamp Set!! I White Heat Embossed it using Clearsnap White Embossing Powder!!Then I used the Stitched Circle Stacklets Die Set to Die Cut the Image out and Backed it with a TE Chocolate Truffle Cardstock Die Cut Circle!! I wanted a FUN Fall Woven Background so I used the Basketweave Cutting Plate to Die Cut some Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Patterned Paper!! I LOVE this Die and the way that it turned out using the Plaid Paper!! I Die Cut the Banner Stacklets 2 just Die Cutting off the end for two straight edges from some TE Toffee Cardstock for the Band behind my Focal Image!! I added some ColoriQue by Lisa Marie Jimenez in Snow Summit Splatter, some Tonic Studio Morning Dew Nuvo Drops, Aqua Shimmer Pen, and some White Gel Pen Details and my Card was done!!

Keep Warm and Snuggle Up!!

HELLO and HAPPY FRIDAY!!

Is it cold where you live today?? We got Snow and it's about -7 outside!! BRRRRRRR!!  I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today So I decided made this card perfect for a Cold Winter Day!! I started by using the image of the girl and cats snuggled up and reading from the Cozy Day In Stamp Set!! The sentiment "Keep Warm and Snuggle Up" is from the Fireside Friends Stamp Set!!

 

I wanted a COZY looking background so I used the AWESOME Taylored Expressions Basketweave Cutting Plate Die to create a "Woven Blanket" from some Watercolor Paper because I wanted to alternate the Front and Back Sideof the Paper for some Noticeable Texture!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! =) Then I layered it onto a Stitched Panel Card Base just to Finish off the Edge!! I Stamped and Embossed my Images onto Distress Watercolor Paper and then Watercolored the Image using my Distress Markers!! I went with Vibrant Jewel Toned Colors and I LOVE the way it POPS off the Card!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto a Strip of Watercolor Paper and added it to the Left hand side of the Image!!  Some Stamped and Embossed Hearts were added to the Top of the Image to help make your eye go right for the Image!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Image and the way the Card came together!!
