I'm here today for the Calling All Sistahs Reminder Blog Post!!

It's the 17th which means it time for our monthly reminder to get the girls checked and in case you missed my crafty news earlier, I have been asked to join the Encouragement Squad at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!! Now back to the reminder, Breast Cancer can be beaten if caught early so please get your Mammograms!!  I lost my Mother-In-Law 3 Years ago to Breast Cancer, so I KNOW how IMPORTANT it is to find it EARLY!! You can also help by purchasing any of the Calling All Sistahs line where 50% of the proceeds go to help research for a cure!!

I've made a BEAUTIFUL Card for today showcasing the Powerful Words Stamp Set, the Ruffled Ribbon Die, then I used the SWEET Little Heart Die from the Tic Tac Toe Fri-Dies Set!! I used the SPECIAL Sistahood Sparkle *Limited Edition* Sequin Mix for an Accent in the Center of my Heart!!

 

I Stamped and Embossed the Words from the Powerful Words Stamp Set to create my Background!! Then I used my FAVORITE New Distress Oxide Inks to Ink up the Background!! I used Fired Brick, Broken China, Worn Lipstick and Faded Jeans!! I added some Water Droplets and some Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters for some added Texture!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how well these Inks Blend!! Then I Die Cut a Ruffled Ribbon Die from Distress Watercolor Paper and coated it with some Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen to give it some SPARKLE!! I wanted to add something to the Center of the Ribbon so I Inked up a Piece of Cardstock using Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick Ink, added some Water Droplets for Texture and then Die Cut the SWEET Little Heart Die from the Tic Tac Toe Fri-Dies Set!! I added a Sequin from the SPECIAL Sistahood Sparkle *Limited Edition* Sequin Mix for an Accent in the Center of my Heart along with a Black Burlap Bow!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!
