A "DEER" Couple Anniversary Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

HELLO!!
I'm here with Newton's Nook Designs today to share a SWEET "DEER" Couple Anniversary Card!! I have had this Card Sketched out since I saw this Set and I'm SO HAPPY with ho it turned out!! Not sure about you!!?? Sometimes you have an Idea and it just doesn't turn out the way you want it too!!?? I started by Die Cutting my Arches Water Color Paper using a Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Rectangle Die!! Then I added a Light Watercolor Wash of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to the Background!! For some added Texture I Flicked my Background with some Black, White and Antique Gold Acrylic Paint using a Fine Paint Brush!! I LOVE the way it looks in Real Life!! I Die Cut ALL of my Pieces (2 Stags from the NND Splendid Stags Die Set, an Arrow from the NND Points and Plumes Die Set, Stamped and Die Cut 1 Twine Wreath, and 2 of the Leafy Sprig Images and cut them apart so I'd have 4 Pieces!! I also Stamped and Embossed 7 Flowers with some WoW Red Glitter Embossing Powder  and 17 Little Leaves all from the NND Happy Little Thoughts Stamp Set and the Coordinating NND Happy Little Thoughts Die Set!!  I used my Distress Markers to Water Color the Leafy Wreath Images, the Leaves and my Stag Images!! In order to have them facing each other I just Flipped the Doe over and Cut off the Antlers!! So FUN Right!!?? I wanted the "Arrow" as if he was wearing a Bow Tie!!?? Then I wanted a Flower in her Ear so you could tell it was a Female if "Deer" aren't your thing!!?? I added some Imaginesce Hot Set Gems to the Centers of the Flowers with a Hot Set Tool and I LOVE the way they look!! I wanted a FUN Sentiment so I KNEW I wanted to Double Stamp and Emboss the Happy Sentiment!! Using my New Mini Misti Stamping Tool makes this SO EASY!! =)
I Stamped first with Black Versa Fine Ink and then used Clear Embossing Powder to Emboss it!! Then I restamped it Slightly offset and used some SSS Antique Gold Embossing Powder to Emboss it!! I used the NND Simply Sentimental Stamp Set for the Happy Anniversary and then used the NND Holiday Smooches Stamp Set for the "to a Special Couple" Sentiment!! SQUEAL!! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out and I CAN'T WAIT to give it to my Sister and Brother-In-Law!!

HAPPY FRIDAY!! =)
Where has the month of May gone SO FAST!!?? Beckett had his LAST day of School on Monday and went til noon on Tuesday just to help Clean Up their Class Rooms!! It's supposed to feel like Sumer Break Right!!?? Instead it's been Cold 45-60 and Raining!! HUMMMMM!!?? Not that I'm complaining about the Rain because the Lord KNOWS how much we NEED it, I just want it to feel more like Spring/Summer!!?? Beckett has had Two Baseball games already too and we were dressed like it was Fall/Winter instead of like it was Spring/Summer!! =) I Hope you're having GREAT Weather where you are!!??
Today is the Start of a NEW Inky Paws Challenge!! We are Playing along with an AMAZING Color Challenge Theme and these colors couldn't get any more FUN!! =) I took my que from both the Colors and the Picture!! I decided to use the Beautiful Blossoms Stamp Set and the Sentiment is from the Simply Sentimental Stamp Set!! I Layered the Flowers for some Dimension and Interest to an other wise VERY CAS Card Design!! I Stamped and Embossed my Images onto Distress Water Color Paper and then used Distress Markers to Color them!! I used Tattered Rose and Abandoned Coral for the Flowers mixing the Colors alittle for the different parts of the Flowers Mustard Seed for the Flower Centers and Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feather Mixed for the Leaves!! I dug tough my Paper Scrap Stash and found the Papers for my Strips!! I use the Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Strips Die Set to Die Cut everything for the Stitched Edges!!  I LOVE the way it turned out!! A few Pretty Pink Posh Crystal Clear Sequins and my Card was Finished!! Heartfelt Snowman Card with Newton's Nook Designs!! =)

I Hope all of had an AMAZING Christmas Day Yesterday!!??
We sure did!! =)
Today I am up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog and I thought it would be FUN to create a Heartfelt Thank You Card!! You could use this for SO MANY things!!
I just LOVE Snowmen and I like to leave my Snowmen Decorations up until the end of February so I can get the MOST out of them!! Plus, they just make me SMILE!! =)
I started by die cutting a Stitched Heart Die from PTI into my Card Front that I cut from some Heavy Duty Water Color Paper!! I then stamped my Snowman Image from the Frozen Friends Stamp Set!! I then stamped the Image again onto another piece of the Water Color Paper and then I used my Peerless Water Colors add some shadows and I went over them with some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Mark for some extra sparkle!! I LOVE how it looks in real life!! I then stamped the Image again onto some Patterned Paper and die cut the different pieces of his Hat, Scarf and Nose and then paper pieced them onto my Snowman Image that I water colored and cut out!! I wanted a FUN background for my snowman so I added water color to the entire background of the heart!! I then stamped the Snowflake flurry Image from the same Frozen Friends Stamp Set with Versa Mark and used my Judikins Sticky Stuff Embossing Powder and heat set it!! Then I added some Glitter Ritz Crystal Glitter!! I went over all of the edges with a Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Marker and then placed the Image onto my card front over the Stamped Image!! I added my sentiment from the Simply Sentimental Stamp Set and heat embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder and then added some Crystal Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh!! I LOVE the way it turned out!! =)

 For the Inside of my card I wanted to add the same Heart so I water Colored the Background and then stamped and Embossed the same snowflake flurry images and one of the SWEET Little Snowflakes also from the Frozen Friends Stamp Set and added the same Glitter!! I Stamped the Thanks also from the Simply Sentimental Stamp Set and added Clear Embossing Powder to it too!! A sequin for the center of my Snowflake and the Inside is ready for my personal note!! =)
