HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

Welcome to the 7th Annual Newton's Nook Designs Sweet Treats Blog Hop!! 
I've made a FUN Valentine's Day Card for today 

I knew I wanted to create a Scene with the NEW Heart Frames Dies as the Background!! Then I used the Lovely Blooms Stamp Set and the Mother's Day Stamp Set to add some BEAUTFIUL Flowers!! I started by Die Cutting my Stitched Rectangle Card Panel from some Distress Watercolor Cardstock!! Then I Stamped the Mother's Day Stamp Set Image onto my Card Panel towards the bottom 1/3 of the Card with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with some WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I then Inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and added some Water Splatters for some texture!! I Stamped and Embossed all of the other Images including the SWEET Newton's Valentine Image and colored them all in using Copic Markers!! 

(Newton: E40, E43, E47 & E99  Cheeks/Inside Ears/Paw Pads: R00  Heart: R43, R46 & R89  Bird: BG10, BG45, BG48, Y11, YR23, YR00 & YR68  Flowers: Y11, Y15 & YR23   YR00, YR02 & YR68   RV00, RV02 & RV09   R43, R46 & R89  Greenery: YG60, YG63 & YG67  YG03, YG17 & YG25  G00, G05 & G17)
After everything was colored I used the coordinating Dies to Die Cut them out!! Lovely Blooms Die Set and the Newton's Valentine Die Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto the NEW Heart Frames Die Cut using WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and Red Glitz Glitter Embossing Powder!! 

I used iCraft 3-D Foam Squares to POP up several of the Flower Images making sure the position them all around the Mother's Day Image and then I placed the Newton's Valentine Image also using 3-D Foam Squares toward the bottom part of the Heart Frames Die Cut and then used the rest of the Flower Images and placed them around with some Ultra Bond Adhesive right to the Card Panel filling in the Design until I got the placement that I liked!! I tried to keep a Visual Triangle in mind and I just LOVE the way that it turned out!! I wanted some Sparkle so I added some Tonic Studios Glitter Drops to the center of each Flower and I also added a scattering of Pretty Pink Iridescent Jewels!! White Pen Details add some Highlights to finish off the Design!!

         I'm here with Day 4 of the Newton's Nook Designs January Release!! 

       Today we're showcasing the NEW “Newton's Valentine” Stamp Set and the "Newton's Crafty Cardio" Stamp Set + coordinating Dies!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Sets!!

How FUN are these NEW Sets!!?? I'm just in LOVE and here's what I've Created!! 

 I knew I wanted to create a Scene with the Type Writer from the NND My Type Stamp Set along with the Lovely Blooms Stamp Set and the Mother's Day Stamp Set!! I started by Stamping the Mother's Day Stamp Set Image onto my Card Panel towards the bottom 1/3 of the Card!! I then Inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and added some Water Splatters for some texture!! I Stamped and Embossed all of the other Images and colored them all in using Copic Markers!!

I tried to keep a Visual Triangle in mind and I just LOVE the way that it turned out!! I wanted some Sparkle so I added some Tonic Studios Glitter Drops to the center of each Flower and I also added a scattering of Pretty Pink Iridescent Jewels!! White Pen Details add some Highlights to finish off the Design!! 

For my Second Card I used the AWESOME NEW Newton's Crafty Cardio Stamp Set along with the NND Bubbly Stencil and the Speech Bubbles Die Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the Images and colored them in with Copic Markers!! I Die Cut them using the coordinating Dies and then I used the Stencil and some Purple Tape to mask off areas for just hints of Color using Distress Inks in Candied Apple, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet!! I also added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters for even more texture!! 

I used my Distress Markers (same colors that I inked with) to Color the "Crafting" Word in the sentiment and Huffed on the stamp and stamped!! I repeated the process twice and then stamped the rest of the sentiment in Black and Embossed everything using WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I added White Gel Pen Details, and some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Paints and the Paint on the Brushes for even more dimension and shine!! I added the panel to a NND Frames & Flags Scalloped Frame Die Cut from some TE Oreo Cardstock!! I LOVE the way it turned out, and I can't wait to send it to a Crafty Friend!!

Fabulous Floral Mother's Day Card w/ Newton's Nook Designs!!

Fabulous Floral Mother's Day Card!!

HELLO Crafty Friends!! I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog today!! 

If your Mother likes flowers she would adore a gorgeous floral card like this one!! I created this amazing card by cutting all those gorgeous flowers out of Taylored Expressions felt using the Newton's Nook Designs Flower Trio Die Set!! I cut each Flower multiple times using a combination of different colored felts (Lilac and Dark Berry with Butter for the center then I used Peach and Papaya along with Marshmallow for the Center) I layered them all together to create those beautiful flowers. Then added a button to the center of each one to give it a special finishing touch!! Once I had all those flowers made I added them onto this gorgeous Mother's Day Card with Foam Tape to add some Dimension!! I Die Cut my Cardbase from TE Marshmallow Cardstock and added the Stamped and Embossed sentiment with the floral flourishes from our Mother's Day Stamp Set into the center. I inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the Background and then added color to the flowers and leaves using Copic Markers!! I added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Center of the Flowers!! I framed the sentiment with the felt flowers on the top and bottom and added some leaves too round out the Design!! The scalloped edge behind the image was also cut out using our Frames & Flags Die Set. from some Sunny Studio Gingham Lavender Patterned Paper!!

All those flowers and layers really make the card feel extra special! My Grandma has ALWAYS LOVED Flowers and her Front and Back Porch have always been covered with BEAUTIFUL Blooms!! I just KNOW she's going to cherish this Card for Mother's Day!!
