I'm here today for the Second New Challenge over on the Calling All Sistahs Blog!!
EVERY Month on the 18th we'll be sharing a New Inspiration Challenge Photo!!

SQUEAL!! How BEAUTIFUL is this New Calling All Sistahs Encouragement Card Challenge CAS03 Inspiration Photo!!?? There are NO Product or Genre Restrictions!!
You'll also have a chance to WIN!! =)
 So I HOPE You'll Join us EACH Month!!??
 I don't know about you, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the (Rainbow) Colors so that's where I took my start for this Card!!

 

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this BEAUTIFUL Floating Stamp Set!! SO MANY uses for this Set!! I wanted to Color this Image in Rainbow Colors!! I used Copic Markers to Color the Image after I Stamped and Embossed it onto some Distress Watercolor Paper!! Then I had to Cover it with some Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen for some SPARKLE and I added some Black Gems to several of the Flower Centers and some Tonic Studio Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to all of the other Flower Centers!! I Fussy Cut the Image out and added it to my Card Base with Foam Tape!! I used a NND Sky Border Die to create a Stencil to create the Cloud filled Sky!! Inking it up with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink!! I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and then Die cut the same Border Die from some Vellum and some Distress Watercolor Paper for the Clouds at the Bottom of my Card!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto a Black Cardstock Strip with White Embossing Powder and my Card was done!!

Each month, on the 18th we will have an inspiration photo and challenge to spark your creativity.  You can use the photo or the colors or both to create your card to encourage, bless or lift the spirits of the recipient.  Then link up here by June 13th for your chance to win a $25 gift code from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps to use in their online store!!  You can use any product you wish, but if you are chosen and your card has a stamp or die from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, your prize will be doubled!!!!!!

Rules:

1. Make an Encouragement Card using the Inspiration Photo or Color Collection or Both.
2. Link up by 12am EST on the 13th to be eligible to WIN.
3. Any products welcomed.  You are not required to use CAS-ual Fridays Stamps on your card, but if you do and your card is chosen, Michele will double your prize

Calling All Sistahs Reminder Card!! =)

Happy Wednesday!!
I'm here today for the FIRST Calling All Sistahs Reminder Blog Post!!

It's the 17th which means it time for our monthly reminder to get the girls checked and in case you missed my crafty news earlier, I have been asked to join the Encouragement Squad at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!! Now back to the reminder, Breast Cancer can be beaten if caught early so please get your Mammograms!!  I lost my Mother-In-Law 3 Years ago to Breast Cancer, so I KNOW how IMPORTANT it is to find it EARLY!! You can also help by purchasing any of the Calling All Sistahs line where 50% of the proceeds go to help research for a cure!!

I've made a BEAUTIFUL Card for today showcasing the Floating Stamp Set, the Word Ribbon Stamp Set, Pretty Posies Stamp Set and Pretty Posies Die Set the Ruffled Ribbon Die and the CAS Sistahood Sparke Sequin Mix!! I wanted to create a BEAUTIFUL Shaker Card and here's what I cam up with!! =)

I Stamped and Embossed the Word Ribbon Stamp Set Image onto my Card Base and then used Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks to ink over the Image!! I then Die Cut the Ruffled Ribbon Die from the Card Front and some Fun Foam to create my Shaker!! I backed the Card Front with acetate and then adhered the Fun Foam!! I added some of the BEAUTIFUL CAS Sistahood Sparke Sequin Mix!! I Stamped and Embossed the Floating Stamp Set Image and Fussy Cut some of the Flower Images for Embellishments!!  Then I Stamped and Embossed the Pretty Posies Stamp Set Image and then Die Cut it using the coordinating Pretty Posies Die Set!! I Colored the Flower Images with Copic Markers and the added some Pearl Gems to the Centers of them!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out!

SQUEAL!! I have some EXCITING News to share today!!

There's a New Challenge at the Calling All Sistahs Blog called the Encouragement Challenge starting on the 18th of each month!! It will be a Monthly Challenge based on a Photo Inspiration with Colors you can use too as a Jumping off Spot to create an Encouragement Card with NO Product and NO Genre Restrictions!! SQUEAL!! Who's EXCITED!!??

Secondly, I’m VERY EXCITED to ANNOUNCE I'm part of the new Design Team called "The Encouragement Squad"!! I’m so EXCITED to finally be able to SHARE this AWESOME News as I've been hiding this Secret for some time!! I’m being introduced over at the Calling All Sistahs Blog today so PLEASE come over and check it out and SAY HI!! I was SO HONORED when Michele Gross (aka Owner of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps) asked me to be a Part of this VERY SPECIAL Challenge Design Team, because I'm ALL about sharing and spreading ENCOURAGMENT!! I SO HOPE you'll join us Each Month!!?? I CAN'T WAIT to see what you create!! =) Here's a SWEET Shaker Card I've made for today just to showcase my Style with you, especially if you are New to me!!??  =)

 

 

I LOVE LOVE LOVE to create Shaker Cards so when I saw this BEAUTIFUL Floating Stamp Set I just KNEW I had to create a Shaker Card with it!! Something about the BLING and the Sound of a Shaker Card just makes me HAPPY!!  =)  I used Copic Markers to Color the Image after I Stamped and Embossed it onto some Distress Watercolor Paper!! Then I had to Cover it with some Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen for some SPARKLE!! I Fussy Cut the Image out and then used the SWEET Little Heart Die from the Tic Tac Toe Fri-Dies Set!! Then I used the SPECIAL Sistahood Sparkle *Limited Edition* Sequin Mix for my Shaker Element!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Word Ribbon Stamp Set and then I added some Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters to my Inked Background for some added detail!! I used the Tim Holtz Sun Rays Stencil as a Jumping off point and had to do some Masking with some Tape to extend the Rays and to break them up alittle for a Smaller Ray Design!! I used Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans Distress Inks and just adjusted the amount of Ink I was using to get the 3 different shades!! A Few more of the Sequins were added to the Card for some added Dimension and Bling and my Card was DONE!!  =)
