Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release 2024 ~ Holiday Postage Sampler & Postage Stamp Layout Die Set!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release 2024!! Today I'm sharing a Project that I've made using the NEW Holiday Postage Sampler Stamp Set and the coordinating NEW Holiday Postage Sampler Die Set along with the NEW Postage Stamp Layout Die Set!! 

Here's a Close up look at ALL of the NEW Products being showcased Today!!

I'm so in LOVE with these NEW Products!! There are SO MANY ways they can be used to create with and I'll be sharing several different ideas over the next several days!! Let's get started!!

I Started by Stamping and Embossing all of the Images onto White Cardstock using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! 

Then I Colored the Images using Copic Markers!! 
Red: R00, R14 & R39    White: N0   Green: YG00, YG17 & G29
Yellow: Y00 & YR23    Blue: B23, B32 & B18    Dark Brown: E40, E43 & E47
Light Brown: E30, E33 & E37     Turquoise: BG10, BG45 & BG49
Black: N3, N5 & N8
Then I used the NEW coordinating Holiday Postage Sampler Dies to Die Cut the Images out!! I added some White Gel Pen Highlights and LOVE how Bright and Happy these Images are!! 

I Die Cut the Framework Frame from some White Cardstock and Inked with some Distress Oxide Prize Ribbon Ink and then added some Distress Oxide Black Soot Ink to the edges of the Frame for some Dark edges and I LOVE the feel of this!! Next I Die Cut the NEW Postage Stamp Layout Die from some White Cardstock and I Cut off 2 of the Stamps using my Paper Trimmer!! Next I Inked the Postage Stamp Die Cut with some Distress Oxide Hickory Smoke Ink for some Shading!! This step isn't necessary, but I feel like it adds so much to the Design!! I Inked the inside of the Postage Stamps with the same Prize Ribbon and Black Soot Ink and then I Stamped and Embossed the Details with WoW Clear Embossing Ink and WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! I LOVE how those details POP off of the Inked backgrounds!! Then I added the Die Cut Images and I LOVE how this turned out!! 

For the Inside of the Card I added the NEW Merry Christmas Die Set Sentiment!! 

I Die Cut the Words from White Cardstock then Die Cut the Shadow from some White Cardstock that I Inked with the same Prize Ribbon and Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and Layered them together and adhered them to the inside of the Card!! 

I LOVE how Festive and Fun this Card turned out and I'll definitely be Mass Producing this Design for the Holidays using different Images for the different Stamps just to make them all alittle different!! I'm one of those Crafters that has to change things up from Card to Card when I'm Mass Producing just to keep it FUN for myself!! I hope this INSPIRES you on a way you can Mass Produce some of your Holiday Cards too!!??

Merry Christmas Cards for the 25 Days of Christmas w/ Paper Sweeties!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm up for Day 17 of the Paper Sweeties 25 Days of Christmas Celebration!! FULL of AMAZING Inspiration and Surprise SALES!! You won't want to miss a Day of the Festivities!! 

For today's Projects I wanted to share my LOVE of ALL things White & Black Gingham this Holiday Season!! I can't explain it, but I LOVE it ALL and can't seem to get enough of it!! 

So Today I'm sharing a couple different Ideas on ways to use the Black &White Gingham Patterned Paper with the Sugar & Spice Sweet Cuts Die Set!! SWOON!! I LOVE how these turned out and it's HARD for me to pick a FAVORITE!! 

Which Design do you like best!!?? 

For my First Card I Die Cut the Sugar & Spice Gingerbread Man from the Black & White Gingham Patterned Paper!! Then I added it to my Kraft Card Panel that I Die Cut using a Stitched Rectangle Die!! I added some Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink to the Background of the Kraft Cardstock to help make the Gingerbread Man POP against the Kraft Card Panel!! Then I added some Picket Fence and Black Soot Distress Oxid Ink Splatters for some Texture and some Tonic Studios Shimmer Pen Splatters for some Sparkle!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the Merry Christmas Sentiment from the Merry Christmas Ya'll Stamp Set!! I wanted to add some POPS of Red Deco Foil so I laminated some Therm O Web Fancy Foils by Gina K Designs in Radiant Red to a piece of Deco Foil Toner Sheets and then used the Spice Sweet Cuts Die Set to Die Cut the Bow!! I LOVE the BEAUTIFUL touch of Shine it adds to the Design!! I wanted to add some Holly Leaves to the Bow as well so I Stamped and Embossed the Holly Image from the Jingle All the Way Stamp Set and Colored it in using Copic Markers!! Then I used the coordinating Jingle All the Way Die Set to Die Cut the Holly Images out!! I added the Holly to the Leaves and then add a Strawberry Sequin to the center of the Bow!! I finished off the Design by adding some Nuvo Drops in Red Glitter to the center of the Sequin!! 

For my Second Card I created the EXACT same Design only this time I used White Cardstock for the Card Panel and I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink for the Background to make the Gingerbread Man POP!! 

Then I added add some of the NEW Therm O Web Glass Slipper Deco Foil to a piece of Deco Foil Toner Sheets and laminated it!! I used the Spice Sweet Cuts Die Set to Die Cut the Bow!! I LOVE the BEAUTIFUL touch of Shine it adds to the Design!! I wanted to add some Holly Leaves to the Bow as well so I Stamped and Embossed the Holly Image from the Jingle All the Way Stamp Set and Colored it in using Copic Markers!! Then I used the coordinating Jingle All the Way Die Set to Die Cut the Holly Images out!! I added the Holly to the Leaves and then add a Strawberry Sequin to the center of the Bow!! I finished off the Design by adding some Nuvo Drops in Red Glitter to the center of the Sequin!!

So there you have it, two different Color Combos, but the same overall Design!! Which one do you prefer!!??

CAS Christmas Card for the 25 Days of Christmas w/ Paper Sweeties!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

We're sharing Holiday Inspiration Projects for 25 days over at Paper Sweeties from December 1st through the 25th!!  Click HERE to check out what the talented Design Teamies have created to help spark your creativity!!

Today I've created a BEAUTIFUL CAS Holiday Card!! Easy to create for any last minute Cards you might need to make, and packs a PUNCH with the White Embossed Card Panel!! It's hard to get the FULL affect in the Photos but in real life it REALLY adds alot of Texture to the otherwise Simple Card Design!! Let's get Started!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the front of my Card Panel with words "Merry, Joy & Noel" from the Merry Stamp Set!! I Stamped with WoW Clear Embossing Ink using my MISTI Stamping Tool in order to just move my Card Panel up and down until the entire Panel was Inked then I used WoW Embossing Powder in Bright White and Heat Set the Panel!! Its hard to see in the Photos, but in real life it adds such an Elegant Feel to the Card!! Then I Die Cutting the Tree from the Stitched Tags #2 Die Set from the Embossed Card Panel!! I wanted to inlay the Die Cut Tree with some Plaid Patterned Paper, as I LOVE the Stitched Detailing around the edges of the Tree!! I used the NEW Photoplay 6x6 Tulla & Norbert's Christmas Party Paper Pad!! I Die Cut the Bow from the set from some Taylored Expressions Gold Glitter Felt and added a Mini Metallic Red Jingle Bell to the center of the Bow for a POP of Color using some Zots Bling Mini Glue Dots!! I LOVE them for attaching Small Elements to my Cards and I KNOW they won't go anywhere during the Shipping Process!!

Paper Sweeties October 2020 Release Party!!

HELLO!!

I'm here today for the Paper Sweeties October 2020  Release Party!! Today I'm showcasing the 

NEW 4th Quarter 2020 Sweet Kit!! 

Here's a look at the NEW Kit!!

This Kit is FULL off ALL the things you need for your Holiday Tag Making needs, on top of LOTS of uses for the AMAZING Stamp and coordinating Die Set!! Today I've made some SWEET Cards using items from the Kit!! 

I Started with the Kraft Card Bases that are included in the Kit!! Then I Cut down the SWEET Doodlebug Tags that are included in the Kit!! I LOVE them and they're PERFECT for Cards!! I added some Patterned Paper I had from my Stash and created the Center Card Panel!! 

I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters to the Center Panel before I adhered the Striped Paper to the edges of the Center Panel!! Then I adhered the Doodlebug Tag to one of the Mini Clothes Pins included in the Kit!! I adhered the Clothes Pin to my Card Panel using some Terrific Tape!! 

Then I tied a Double Bow using the Twine included in the Kit!! I adhered it to the front of the Clothes Pin using a Bling Zots Adhesive Dot!! SQUEAL!! Just so CUTE!!

Lastly I wanted to add a Stamped and Embossed sentiment to the Sweet Scalloped Flap Kraft Envelopes also included in the Kit!! So I Stamped with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and Heat set them!! I LOVE how SWEET these turned out and they're are so many options you could create with ALL of the Tags you receive in this Kit!!
