Newton's Nook Designs 11 Year Celebration ~ A2 Card Layout 2 Die Set!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs 11 Year Celebration Release 2024!! Today I'm sharing a Project that I've made using the

NEW A2 Card Layout 2 Die Set!!

Here's what I've created for today!!

It's Your Birthday Card by Larissa Heskett for Newton's Nook Designs using A2 Card Layout 2 Die Set, Birdhouse Greetings Die Set and Black & White Basics Paper Pad

If you follow me then you'll KNOW that I LOVE to create Shaker Cards!! This NEW A2 Card Layout 2 Die Set has SO MANY Possibilities when it come to Design options including for Shaker Cards!! I Started by Die Cutting several of the Layout Frames from White Cardstock and adhering them all together to create my Shaker Frame Window!! Then I used one of the Patterned Papers from the NEW Black & White Basic Paper Pad for the Card Panel!!

Next I Stamped and Embossed the images from the Birdhouse Greeting Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! SWOON!! I just LOVE the Image from this Set, they make me HAPPY!! Then I Colored them with Copic Markers!!
Red: R00, R4 & R39 Turquoise: BG10, BG45 & BG49
Yellow: Y11, Y13 & YR23 Green: YG40 & YG45
Grey: N0, N3, N5 & N8
Then I used the coordinating Birdhouse Greeting Die Set to Die Cut the Images out!! I Adhered the Birdhouse Image to the Acetate Window and then adhered a few more Birds!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto on of the Panels and then adhered them into place and added the Birds!! I used SEVERAL NEW Embellishments from Trinity Stamps including the White Shaker Pop Mix, Forrest Shaker Pop Mix, Honey Shaker Pop Mix, Red Shaker Pop Mix, Teal Shaker Pop Mix and the Bokeh Heart Flat Confetti Mix!! SQUEAL!! They add so much to the Feel and Sound of this Shaker Card!! The thought of all of the ENJOYMENT it will bring to someone make my HEART HAPPY!! I hope I've INSPIRED you today!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

Welcome to Day 3 of the Newton's Nook Designs May Release!! Toady we are Showcasing the NEW Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set + coordinatin Birdhouse Greetings Die Set and the Birdhouse Line Stencil!!

SWOON!! I'm LOVING these NEW Products because there are SO many ways to use them!! I LOVE being able to create FUN Gifts and the Bookmark Die Set is PERFECT for the NEW Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set!!

Birdie Bookmark created by Larissa Heskett for Newton's Nook Designs using Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set, Birdhouse Greetings Die Set, Bookmark Die Set, Circle Frames Die Set, Spring Blooms Patterned Paper

I Started by Die Cutting the Bookmark Die Set from some Spring Blooms Patterned Paper and then again from some White Cardstock!! I used the Bookmark Die to cut the Top and Bottom of the White Cardstock to make the Bookmark Panel the size I wanted, but making sure the Stitching was continued for a cohesive Design!!

Next I Stamped and Embossed the NEW Birdhouse Greetings Image with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to color the Image!!
Red: R00, R14 & R37 Green: YG40, YG45
Turquoise: BG10, BG45 & BG49
Yellow: Y11, Y13 & YR23 White: N0 & N3

I Die Cut the Image out using the coordinating NEW Birdhouse Greetings Die Set!!
I finished the Bookmark with a FUN Tag that I created using the Circle Frames Die Set!! I then adhered a Heart Image also from the NEW Birdhouse Greetings Stamp Set!! Then I added a Bookmark Tassel that I made using some Embroidery Floss and Beads!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!

A Little Birdie told me..... Card and coordinating Envelope by Larissa Heskett for Newton's Nook Designs using Birdhouse Line Stencil, Frames and Flags Die Set and Spring Blooms Paper Pad

I Started by Die Cutting the Scalloped Rectangle from the Frames and Flags Die Set from some Patterned Paper from the Spring Blooms Paper Pad!!

Then I Die Cut the White Cardstock Panel and Inked the NEW Birdhouse Line Stencil Image across the Top of the Card Panel using Distress Oxide Inks in Hickory Smoke, Mustard Seed, Barn Red and Black Soot!!

A Little Birdie told me..... coordinating Envelope by Larissa Heskett for Newton's Nook Designs using Birdhouse Line Stencil, Frames and Flags Die Set and Spring Blooms Paper Pad

I wanted a coordinating Envelope, so I Inked the Envelope Flap using the same NEW Birdhouse Line Stencil Image across the Bottom of the Envelope Flap using the same Distress Oxide Inks in Hickory Smoke, Mustard Seed, Barn Red and Black Soot!! Stencils make it so FUN and EASY to create coordinating Envelopes and I LOVE how this Set turned out!!
