Hello Crafty Friends!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs ~ 13th Birthday Release!! Today I'm sharing a FUN Birthday Card that I've made using the NEW Hula Hoop Newton Stamp Set and the coordinating NEW Hula Hoop Newton Die Set!! Here's a look at the NEW Sets!!

SQUEAL!! How FUN is this NEW SET!! I still remember when we used to have Hula Hoop Fund Raisers for Red Cross when I was younger!! It was one of my FAVORITE Times of the year and we WON Prizes for how long we could Hula Hoop without stopping!! Did anyone else get to do this at their Schools!!?? Now they do Jump Roping or Bike Riding around here and I WISH they'd bring Hula Hooping back!!
I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Images from the NEW Hula Hoop Newton, Birthday Postage Sampler and Newton's Christmas Tree Stamp Sets onto some White Cardstock using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossing with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color the Images!! 

Cat: E40, E43 & E47   Checks: R00    Blue: B00, B32 & B34 
Pink: R81, R83 & R85      Yellow: Y21, Y24 & Y27     
Turquoise: BG11, BG13 & BG32
Then I Die Cut the Images out using the coordinating Die Sets, the NEW Hula Hoop Newton, Birthday Postage Sampler and Newton's Christmas Tree Die Sets!! I added some White Gel Pen Highlights and added some Black Glaze Pen to the Nose!! 

Next I created the Shaker Background using the Card Layout 4 Die!! I Die Cut it from White Cardstock 6 Times in order to create the Shaker Frame!! I adhered 5 of them together and then adhered them to an A2 White Card Panel!! Then I used the same Card Layout 4 Die again from several different Pattern Papers from the Birthday Time Paper Pad!! SWOON!! I LOVE the Colors and Patterns of this Collection and they are PERFECT for both Feminine and Masculine Card Designs!! I adhered the Yellow Patterned Paper Frame to the last White Cardstock Frame and then backed it with some Acetate to create the Shaker Frame!! Then I adhered the rest of the Patter Paper pieces to the inside of the Frame Pieces and used some Trinity Stamps Bokeh Circles Confetti and adhered the Frame Window!! 

Next I adhered the Packages, Balloons and Hula Hoop Newton to the Shaker Window using some Foam Tape for some Dimension!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the NEW Hula Hoop Newton Stamp Set onto White Cardstock Die Cut using the Circle Frames Die Set!! I adhered it to the Shaker Panel using Foam Tape for Dimension too and I LOVE how it turned out!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 
Today I'm sharing a SWEET Spring Thank You Card using a combination of some of my FAVORITE Spring Images!! I LOVE that you can use several of the Images from the Postage Sampler Sets along with some of your favorite Floral Images to create a Scene FULL of Delight!! I hope this Card INSPIRES You to create some Scenes for your next Thank You Card!!
I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Images from the Autumn Fields Stamp Set, Hyacinth Stamp Set and the Images from the Easter Postage Sampler Stamp Set on White Cardstock using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!!

  Then I Colored the Images using Copic Markers!!

Green: YG61, YG63 & YG67
Yellow: Y00, Y13 & YR23    Brown: E40, E43 & E47

  Pink: RV00, RV52 & RV55   Purple: V000, V15 & V09

White: N0 & N3  Orange: YR00 & YR68
   Dark Green: G12, G14 & G19
I used the coordinating Autumn Fields Die Set, Hyacinth Die Set and Easter Postage Sampler Die Set to Die Cut the Image out!! I added White Gel Pen & Black Glaze Pen Highlights and then I added some Sunshine Glitter Nuvo Drops to the center of the Hyacinth Flowers for some added dimension and Sparkle!! Then I added some Glossy Accents to the center of the Sunflowers for some Dimension and Shine!!

For the Background Panel I Die Cut a Piece of White Cardstock using the Basic Frames Die Set!! Then I Inked the Background using Gathered Twigs and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks!! I Masked the Bottom of the Panel and then added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters as well as some Salvaged Patina Distress Spritz Splatters!! I LOVE the Texture and Shimmer it adds to the Background!! 

I Die Cut some Pattern Paper from the Bright Basics Paper Pad using the Framework Die Set, cutting it on a Diagonal for a FUN Look and adhered the Stitched Background Panel!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto the Banner Trio Die Cut from some Black Cardstock and Embossed with some WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! I adhered it to the bottom of the Images and the Card is Finished!!

So there you have it a SWEET Spring Thank You Card using a combination of some of my FAVORITE Spring Images!! I hope this INSPIRES You to create some Thank You Cards for your needs and have FUN combining Images from different Collections!! WoW Embossing Ethereal Meadows Release w/ Brennan Keane!!

Today, I’m sharing a project using Bluebell Mist and Buttercup Blossoms from the collection. I hope it inspires you to get creative with these magical new powders too!!

Whether you’re a mixed media artist, a cardmaker, or just love a touch of ethereal shine, this collection is a total dream to work with. To be honest, the way these powders catch the light is something you really have to see in action!!

I LOVE to use my WoW Embossing Powders to Dress up and add Color, Texture and Sparkle to my Die Cuts and these Florals are just STUNNING with the helps of the NEW Bluebell Mist and Buttercup Blossom!! 

I Die Cut the Into the Blooms: Pansies Die from Papertrey Ink from White Cardstock and used Distress Oxide Inks to Ink them up!! I used Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves, Concord Grade and Mustard Seed!! Then I added the WoW Embossing Powders to the Edges of the Petals while the Ink was wet and Heat Set the Powders!! 

For even more texture and color I added some Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters as well as some Distress Spritz Splatters in Seedless Preserves, Mustard Seed and Salvaged Patina for the Background Panel!! I used the Cover Plate: Quilted Die along with the Elegant Edges: Spring Flowers Die for the Background Panel and Inked with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink!! 

I added some Trinity Stamps Sunshine Baubles to the center of the Flowers and added some to the Background Panel too!! Stamped and Embossed the Sentiments using WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and I just LOVE how this turned out!! I hope it INSPIRES you to add some WoW Embossing Powders to your next Project to add some Color, Texture and Sparkle!!

A Little Hello Card with Newton's Nook Designs!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

Today I'm up on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog sharing an GORGEOUS Spring Card card featuring the Tulips Stamp Set and coordinating Tulips Die Set, Hyacinth Stamp Set, Spring Blooms Paper Pack and the Circle Frames Die Set!! SQUEAL!! I just ADORE how all of these products work together and I hope it INSPRES you to combine some of your FAVORITE Products together!! Let's get started!!

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Tulips and Butterfly from the Tulips Stamp Set!! I Stamped with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color the Images!! 

Yellow: Y00, Y13 & YR23       Green: YG61, YG63 & YG67

Purple: V00, V15 & V09        Grey: N0 & N3

Then I used the coordinating Tulips Die Set to Die Cut the Images out!! I used a White Gel Pen to add some Highlights to the Images!! 

Next I Cut the BEAUTIFUL Tulip Pattern Paper from the Spring Blooms Paper Pack to create my Card Panel!! Then I Die Cut the Green Pattern Paper also from the Spring Blooms Paper Pack using the Circle Frames Die Set!! I Die Cut some White Cardstock using the same Circle Frames Die Set and Inked it using some Salvaged Patina and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks to create my Background!! Then I Adhered the Tulip and Butterfly Images!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the Hyacinth Stamp Set using WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and then adhered it to some Circle Frames using the same pattern Paper!! I added some Trinity Stamps Rhinestones to finish off the Design and I LOVE the way this GORGEOUS Spring Card turned out!!

Newton’s Nook Designs March Release 2026 ~ Retro Party ~ Party On!!

Welcome to Release Week for the Newton's Nook Designs ~ Retro Party Release!! Today I'm sharing a RAD Birthday Card that I've made using the NEW Party On! Stamp Set, NEW Retro Vibes Stencil Set and the NEW Retro Mix Paper Pack!!

I just LOVE ALL of these NEW Products and how FUN they are especially for those of us who were Kids in the 80’s!! The sentiments in the NEW Party On! Stamp Set are so PERFECT for not only Backgrounds but for ANY Occasion!! The possibility are ENDLESS and sometimes sets like this are my FAVORITE because you can just have FUN and be CREATIVE!! 

I LOVE the way this Card turned out and  hope it INSPIRES you to create some FUN Backgrounds for your next Card Design!! Let's get Started!! 

I Started by Stenciling the Design on the Card Panel using the NEW Retro Vibes Stencil and Several Distress Oxide Inks!! I used Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet, Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Fossilized Amber, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry!! 

Then I switched to the next Stencil and I inked it with more Distress Oxide Inks!! I used Milled Lavender, Fossilized Amber, Spun Sugar, Salty Ocean, Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers!! 

Next I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiments from the NEW Party On! Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Neutral Ultra Shimmer Embossing Powder!! I added some Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters!! I LOVE the Iridescent Sparkles along with the texture of the Paint Splatters!! 

 I Stamped and Embossed the NEW Puppy's Mix Tape Image using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I colored the Image with Copic Markers!! 
Purple: V00, V06 & V15   Pink: RV00, RV52 & RV55
Grey: N0, N3 & N6      Turquoise: BG10, BG45 & BG49     
Then I Die Cut the Image out using the coordinating NEW Puppy’s Mix Tape Die Set!!

 I Die Cut the NEW Retro Paper using the Frames and Tags Die Set!! Then I adhered the Stenciled and Embossed Card Panel!! 

I Adhered the Image to the Card Panel using some Foam Tape for some Dimension!! I adhered the Music Notes and some of the Trinity Stamps Rhinestones for some Sparkle!!
