HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

I'm here with Day 2 of the 

Newton's Nook Designs April Release 2021!! 

Today we're showcasing the NEW "Captivated Kittens" Stamp Set + the coordinating Captivated Kittens Die Set!! 

Let's take a look at the AWESOME New Set!!

SQUEAL!! How SWEET is this NEW "Captivated Kittens" Stamp Set!!?? I just LOVE ALL of the Images as there are so many Scene Possibilities!! I wanted to create a FUN Lake/Pond Scene using several Older NND Stamp and Die Sets to create the Scene!! This Card makes me SMILE!! 

I Started by Die Cutting the Framework Die Set from some Kraft Cardstock!! Then I Die Cut the Stitched Rectangle from some Distress Watercolor Paper and Started by Inking the top 3/4 of the Panel with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink!! Then I placed the NEW Petite Clouds Stencil over the Top 1/3 of the Card and Inked over it with the Tumbled Glass Distress!! I wanted a Subtle Cloud Design in the Sky!! Then I Inked with some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink for the Water of the Lake/Pond!! For the Grass I Die Cut another Stitched Rectangle from some more Distress Watercolor Cardstock and then used the NND Land Borders Die Set to cut the Grass Border!! Then I Inked with Peeled Paint and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink!! I added some Copic Marker Details using YG61, YG67 and E43!! 

Next I Stamped all of the Images with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and Heat Set them!! 
Kitten is from the NEW "Captivated Kittens" Stamp Set, the Cattails, Lily Pad and Dragonflies are from the "Winston's Lake House" Stamp Set!! I colored with Copic Markers!! 

Cattails: E33, E37  YG03, YG25 & BG09  

Cat: E40, E42, E47 & E49   

Cheeks and inside of Ears: R81  Lily Pad: R81, R83 & R85   YG03, YG25 & BG09  Dragonflies: B11& V01  

Shading: (under the Kitten and in the Water) W2 & W0

Then I used the coordinating Dies to Die Cut them out!! 

I used the NEW Captivated Kittens Die Set and the Winston's Lake House Die Set

I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and then I added White and Black Gel Pen Details for highlights!!  Then I added some Shimmer Pen Details to the Dragonflies, the Lily Pad Flower and the Ripples I created in the Lake/Pond!! In real life all of these Details REALLY make the Scene come to LIFE!!
